He didn't see her coming. And he wouldn't let her go.
I swear this series is giving me life! Gus and Zuri didn't exactly meet in the most traditional of ways. But the attraction and chemistry that sparked between them grew rapidly right from the very start. But Gus is hiding a secret that could jeopardize their bond, trust, their building blocks of love.
Dara Hunt has me glued to my Kindle with this series. Her writing style is so beautiful and such a pleasure to read. The storylines are so refreshing and very relatable. I highly recommend these books. You won't be disappointed.

A beautifully written book, so descriptive of the fears Zuri has in starting a relationship with August and his fears that once she becomes aware of his wealth will she be drawn to him for that reason.
When she does find out you can feel the hurt Zuri has but also the desperation that Gus has in trying to explain things.
I’m glad they got their HEA with a hint of humour when they recollect how they first met.
Great story line.

August and Zuri had me from the first page. He is captivated with Zuri and hides his true identity from her. When the truth comes out, she is deeply hurt and August tries hard to explain his reasoning behind his deception. Will they be able to get beyond his deception and allow their relationship to blossom.

Zuri and Gus - a union welded thru restoration
Wow! I really enjoyed this book and the characters, Gus and Zuri. Their work ethics, commitment to that work of saving old, rundown houses, restoring and updating them and revitalizing neighborhoods for families, for years to come.
Then there’s the love between Zuri and Gus, that is FINALLY realized and nurtured. My only regret is that there was no wedding! Yet. Maybe it will be in another book.

The story of Zuri and August was a nice story. They both almost gave up on love because of their trust, insecurity issues secrets. Thankful they were able to get past all these issues to find love.

Definitely a page turner throughout. It could've been longer but the mfc and mmc characters I felt was well developed. Will continue to read this author for sure.

Sweet romance!
I am normally not a fan of romance stories that do not contain action or mystery. However, I liked this one. It is written in a way that you do not feel as though it is a sickly sweet teenage romance. I liked the down to earth personality of the chacters.

I loved this book.
I loved everything about this book. The characters and storyline were awesome. I would definitely recommend this book to friends and family. I gave this book 5 stars because it was well written and kept my interest.

Excellent
I enjoyed reading Such and Gus' story. I could not stop! The story is well written and left me wanting to see more! Ms. Hunt has become one of my favorite authors!
