What a goodread! Massimo (Mass), a rich alpha male and Shainia (Nia), a teacher with sass both had hidden agendas which made for a fantastic journey! This is most definitely a story, well series that I will read again and again!
Best one in the series! Definitely worth the wait Ms Ross. Massimo! Mmm mmm mmm. I can't believe they both (him and Shaina/Nia) had known about each other before. That was lovely. The way they crossed parts again. Loved catching up with the prior couples. Can't wait for Adam's story. BTW. Pretty Woman... My favorite movie.
As always Mrs. Ross has done it again. If you've read any of the other billionaire of granite falls books then you already know these men are something else. Shania has trust issues and is hiding a secret. Mass has commit issues and he's hiding a secret. But I won't spoil it for, you'll have read the book to get your answers. I promise you won't be disappointed.
Mass and Nia's story was truly romantic. A chance encounter six years earlier made a lasting impression. I'm so glad that they were able to find true love. It was great how the wives got together and shared their stories on how they met and married. So looking forward to Book 4.
Love misunderstandings and finally reconciliation!
I knew I read this story before the minute I started to read this story. It is not like me not to leave a review and I don't understand what happened here. Anyhoo, Massimo Andretti inherited his family business following the death of his dad and entered into a contract with Nia aka Chaina Norwood 's dad. Taking advantage of the fact he was hurt and indisposed, the former executor of his father's estate reneged on The contract and blamed it on Massimo. When he recovered and learned what happened Massimo began looking for Shaina and her brother Aaron aka Cameron to right the wrong done to them years ago. Must have been kismet because Massimo and Nia found each other and during all of the secrets, deception and danger lurking in the shadows to harm Nia and her brother, she and Massimo aka Mass came clean about almost everything before starting their married life for real this time. I remember the many areas of this story that made me mad, the parts that made me glad but especially the parts that made me fall in love with Mass and Nia. I got to re-visit with Bryce and Kaya and their brood and Erik and Michelle and their two children. Then there was Adam Mass's cousin and his attorney Steven and his wife and kids. Adam's wife to be will make the fourth Bride in "With These Four Rings"! All great stories these Granite Falls' Billionaires and the beautiful loving wives they are married to. Ana, I am so glad I re-read this story. It is even better the second time around!! Great job!!!!
I was driving like a bat out hell to hurry home and start reading this book. My goodness, she did it again.
Massimo Luciano Andretti. At this point I should mention that Erik, Bryce and Mass (his nickname) are all very close friends. Well, Mass has “smooth olive complexion, black, wavy, shoulder-length hair, a wide sensuous mouth and eyes as blue as the Atlantic Ocean,” I like his character "“Incredibilmente sensuale calda." I don't know what it means (I could look it up on Googe), but who cares, it just sounds good coming from Mass.
He hooks up with Nia in an unusual way. She needs to hide from some shady people and need money. He has big money and was very available to accommodate her, since he needed a wife to hold on to an inheritance from a family member he has harbor some ill feelings toward. He also see something in Nia eyes that reminds him of someone who he fell in love with. "Sure, sure"
Oh, it gets hot between them and right now that's all I'm going to say because if you love romance without the "booty call," "bang, bang shoot them up urban style" and if want an unembellished, honest and a concrete romance story, "come to papa my little ciliegia one" and read this book. This was MIND-BOGGLING!!!!
I'm beginning to think that Ana E. Ross is an evil genius. Why? There's no other explanation as to why I'm so hooked on the Billionaire Bride's Club series (well, I guess it could have something to do with her writing skills...). I can't explain it, but I love The Playboy's Fugitive Bride. I was hooked from the first word to the last. Reading the story of Massimo (I adore that name! MEOW!!!) Andretti and Nia Sylk was an enjoyable experience. In fact, it is a book that I'm certain that I'll read more than once and yet enjoy it just as much.
This was a good read but I have to say this wasn't my favorite book of the series. The emotions were there, I just didn't feel the connection. Also to me the other two stories had a more believable feel to them. The sex, although was hot didn't do it for me either. Everything just seemed to drag with them. They swear they had a million problems when really it was only one, they just had to get out of their own way and allow things to happen. As I said good read, love the author's work but this wasn't the book for me. Having said that I would most defiantly read her next release
Nia is looking for Massimo because she needs to pay off a loan shark who is collecting on her fathers debt. Her father lost his business because Massimo lied to him. So she suggests that she will sell him her virginity for a large sum of money. He knows something is up but decides to play along and figure out what is really going on with her. Come to find out she is the person he has been looking for all along. But being on the run and changing her name has kept her hidden from him. This was a fun book to read and I look forward to reading more in this series.
I was excited at first. What with the proposition, the plan and Massimo's reputation as a playboy. But then I got bored when things start to get too cliché. Somehow Mass managed to figure everything out. It lacks the element of surprise. I like the problems posed by the author but I don't like the solutions. At first i thought this could be a 4stars book. As I read on, the score has sadly dwindle to a mere 2stars.
I loved this series from book 1 so when I saw this book came out I had to read it. I loved the hot & steamy scenes. I loved the way Nia & Mass met. I loved the chemistry between Nia & Mass. I loved Mass's character. Some parts of this story was sad & some parts of this story touched my heart. I loved the ending. I can't wait to read the next book in this series great job Ms. Ross keep those books coming.
Great rebound from the last book. Massimo & Nia were on fire. I thought the story would play out a different way, but glad it went down as it did. I just discovered this author and am looking forward to reading more of her work.
I love that the characters from the previous books make appearances in the newer books and I am really excited for the next book. These were very easy to read, the characters are so easy to like.
What can I say I love the follow up from part 2 that lead into part 3 for Massimo because who would of thought that the playboy Massimo would have to settle down just to protect his father company and his family mansion. But what was so crazy was that massimo had a lot of females that he could marry but to Massimo eyes none of them was perfect for him until Shania A.K.A nia had ran into him at the Cabin and little bit did she know that she had a twist of her own journey to get Massimo for the things that he had caused into her life. But I love the fact that when Massimo and Shania was falling for each other they realized that they both have a lot of hurt and pained that people had caused in their life and sometimes it was from their family members and the people that was close to them. But one thing that I loved about Shania was that she was did whatever she had to do to take care of her little brother but most of all I am glad that Cameron had ended up warming up to Massimo and I am glad that Massimo had ended up doing the right thing to Shania and her brother and that Massimo and Shania had ended up falling in love most of all it was as great story.
I liked Mass. He was a force to be reckoned with. All alpha. Although, unbeknownst to each other, Mass and Nia had an attraction, a connection that spanned a 6 year period.
I couldn't reaaly get into Nia. I found her to be more irritating than not. I understand that she had to keep running to protct her brother, but there was something about her character that I can't put my finger on, but irritated me nonetheless.
I did think it was interesting that Nia kept her identity and why she needed the money secret from Mass, forgave him when she found out he had discovered her identity and her secret, but then ran away when she discovered something about him. Based on the way their relationship began, it didn't seem as though she had room to judge.
Overall, this book captures your attention at the very first page and holds it until the end. I had read some of the earlier books, and enjoyed revisiting those couples. I will definitely keep reading this series.
Judging from the reviews, my fans had as much fun reading The Playboy’s Fugitive Bride, as I had writing it. When I started Mass and Nia’s story, I knew how it would end, but because I’m a character-driven and not a plot-driven writer, I had no idea how they would get to their HEA.
They surprised me at every page, every scene, every chapter as they played out their cat-and-mouse game of passion and wits with each other.
The reviews say it all: “Fun and sexy and entertaining as heck!” “The passion will light your fire, the plot will keep you reading, and the story line will keep you wanting. Out of the park.”
“Speaking of propensity, do either of you notice anything about your wives after they’ve all been together? How overly amorous they are?” Erik glanced from Bryce to Massimo. “Like yesterday?” Massimo asked with a silly grin on his face. “I think they talk about us, share notes.” “Yeah,” both Erik and Bryce said with equally silly grins on their faces. “What happened yesterday?” Adam asked. The husbands stared blankly at him. “Once you get yourself a wife and she joins the brides’ club, you’ll know,” Massimo told him. “Until then, you’ll just have to wonder, little cousin.”
Ms. Ross has pinned another well written story. This time around Nia is after the man she believes is responsible for the death of her father. When she can’t produce the money her father owes, she concocts a plan to go after Massimo, a rich playboy to get what she needs. In the meantime, Massimo has his own problems. He needs to marry and produce an heir in order to keep his wealth. Will Nia be able to pull off her plans and or will there be a meeting of the minds and a compromise result giving them both what they need? This story draws you in and keeps you glued to the drama.
Massimo needs a bride. Nina has a quest to avenge her father's death. This story has romance, passion, lies, and love. The dialogue is witty a sensual. The chemistry is intense. The men in Granite Falls makes me want to relocate. Another good read by Ms Ross. Romance is supposed to take you to a warm and "fantasy come to life" place and this third installment does that.
I must say that this is my favorite book of the series so far. I love the way Ana incorporated Massimo's native tongue into the way he talked to Nia/Shaina. Not normally into these types of books but Ana has me hooked like a fish. It's also refreshing for the basis of the books to be in New England, being born and raised in the area, I can visualize the descriptions a lot easier. Ana Ross makes these books seem classy, with a dirty touch. Five Stars.
But, many good romance novels are fantastical. Cynical, sullen billionaire playbook grabs the first woman who comes along to marry and start a family with to satisfy the terms of his father's will. this third book in the billionaire's bachelor's club is less well edited and more far-fetched than the previous two books.
Strong female character with a few vulnerabilities, priceless. Shania is a strong woman who know what she wants at the same time, tired of running and just wants to identify who she is and avoid her feelings for Massimo. In the end who can contain themselves when it come to Massimo.
I really hope this will not be the final story in this series. This is most definitely a story, well series that I will read again and again! As always Mrs. Ross has done it again. If you've read any of the other billionaire of granite falls books then you already know these men are something else. Mass and Nia's story was truly romantic.
I'm really enjoying this series.. A 4.5 star read fot me. I love the romance and dramas in this series. I wont say too much about the book except that it was a very enjoyable read. The book was very erotic -no complaints since i like books that have a good story and some very sexy scenes to go along with it. This one had A Lot! Lol
