Sarah K. L. Wilson is a USA Today Bestselling author who writes fantasy stories featuring practical heroes & heroines in the most impractical circumstances. She loves writing because it is the only way to make a living and give back to the world when your primary skill is an overactive imagination and a tendency toward violent daydreams. Sarah can be found in the outdoors of Northern Ontario with her young boys and beloved husband, reading a book, or fending off her husband's pet turkeys with a straw broom. You can find Sarah's books in paperback, hardcover, ebook and audiobook and they have also been translated into Italian, German, and (very soon) Turkish. Please, do, enjoy the read!
Lots in action in the continued adventure of Spara, an untrained dragon rider caught in the middle of a takeover plot of her nation. I like the moments when Spara realizes that she can lead or get something accomplished. I enjoy her building relationship with Krullmark. Always fun to have the dragons listening in, observing and commenting on it! She has a crew around of people who want to do the right thing but sometimes clash. Just like real life, yet much more urgently dangerous. This omnibus keeps the story moving quickly so you’ll be done before you know it.
I really enjoy reading this series of books all of the Dragon School books. I have only two complaints the first being that Sarah can't write her stories any faster, but that is also a compliment that I want to keep reading when I get to the end of the book. The other complaint is one I seem to have for most of the books I read these days. A lack of good editing, misspelled words or the wrong tenses, but more distracting is using the wrong name for someone. It won't keep me from reading.
I was a goner after book 1 of dragon school with epic dragons, fearless heroines and heroes and here I am at book 8 hanging from a cliff by my chubby fingers hoping there are at least 20 more books filled with tales of wild battles between good and evil and dragons and whatnot. Jump in with both feet but start at the beginning so you don’t miss anything. You’re welcome.
Like the amazing Dragon School series, Dragon Legacy hauls you in and won’t let go. Don’t think that this is YA either… it is simply action fantasy at its best. The heroine could be 16 or 30 and it would make no difference in the story.
