This was a good story, nothing spectacular but darn good!
Today I am watching season two of The Last of Us, so am not really in the review writing mood. This was the story of Julianna and Aeroz, who was known as the Rogue. Like most of the previous books in this series, the heroine was married to the Hero without her consent and she didn’t want to be married. The rest of the clan threw them together for a mission to find the human female with the secret Roth king.
The Story about Aeroz being “The Rogue” was a pretty good one, he is not fully Suevan he has some Droagan in him from a distant relative, though he looks Suevan. He was born on the space station they go to and it was there that he was named the Rogue of Sueva. He is at first embarrassed to show Julianna his former home, thinking the station is just pieced together metal and plastic. However, Julianna is thrilled and thinks it is wonderful to see the station.
Like the rest of the series, the narration was done in dual narration by Mason Lloyd and Hollie Jackson. They always remind me of the Ice Planet Barbarians, since they did the narration on most of those books. The things I like more about this series is the fact that most of the books are set on a warm jungle planet, but also because the Suevan people are more technologically advanced and aren’t just barbarians. I love it when these alien romance books have the characters traveling in space or going to other advanced worlds or space stations like this one did.

I'm glad to have finished off the series. I feel... released.
I took notes and made comments while reading but now that I'm here at the end, I really can't be bothered to spend the time writing about it. It was mediocre, as the series in general was. The end.

I've inhaled this series. Inhaled it, and now I don't know what to do with myself. How, how will I leave Sueva and its warlords?
Wed to the Alien Rogue was the perfect ending to the series. A series that told the tale of eight accidental alien brides, eight friends, eight warriors/scientists/powerhouses, and their road to love and happiness.
It was beautiful and funny and spicy and everything I needed it to be.
Thank you, January, for gifting us these witty, delicious stories and for making us wish an alien of our own.

2.5 ⭐️ I didn’t realize this was the last of the series!
It wasn’t the best I’ve ever read, but it kept me entertained.
I think the plot suffered in this one. They’re following 2 characters from a previous book to make sure she wasn’t kidnapped. But they don’t really try very hard, and we’ve already seen the events of that book so there wasn’t really that much tension.
And all the action filled moments are resolved SO quickly. She’s kidnapped and he finds her in like 5 minutes, they’re afraid the Roth are heading to Earth and it’s resolved in a few pages - drawing it out or having more conflict may have made it way more exciting!
It wasn’t the best I’ve ever read, but it kept me entertained.

I have a thing for space stations so this one hit me in all the best spots. Series concluded well, the romance was sweet, sex scenes were kinda meh for my personal tastes.
Overall if the stories continue with the other aliens in this world, I'll read them when I'm in the mood for quick, insta lovey, pregnancy heavy alien smut. There is nothing ground breaking here, but it is well done standard issue sci fi romance.

Neat little bow to wrap up the series
Julianna was a good fit for Aeroz, with her need to defend him against what he was going through. I love when partners are able to lean on each other. It makes for a more moving romance. Aeroz brought a different flavor to the Seuvan alien warlords, with his less obsessive attitude towards seuvan values.
I really wanted Nydo to cameo more than he did, but I’m assuming he’ll show up in the other series. Need my morally grey jerk face back.
I wish there could have been more of the early interactions between the MCs on page.

Gosh, I’m so sad this series is over 😭 This is the last book in the Accidental Alien Brides series from January Bell, and I am going to miss these Suevan-green-muscley-tailed-aliens. Wed to the Alien Rogue is the story of Julianna and Aeroz, who are totally accidentally married (thanks to double-crossing, greedy Earth powers-that-be) but of course just friends 😉.

Juls is reluctant to get involved with her hunky sweetheart of a husband, but luckily their mission means they have to pretend to be honeymooners on Aeroz's home turf. The will power one must have to resist a big ol’ alien husband who wants nothing more than to care for and love you… resisting would not be in my vocabulary.
Aeroz is nicknamed the Rogue, and this book explains his history and the reason for the label. I loved the reveal of his past which is so unlike any of the other Suevans. Without spoiling anything, all I can say is that he has to be my most favorite Suevan warlord.
This was absolutely a cute, fast-paced, spicy sci-fi romance read that I recommend to anyone who loves this genre. I need more of this alien universe, even if the original Suevans story has ended. 🥲

What an amazing conclusion to this series! I wasn't prepared for it to end and ended up in tears during the epilogue. Julianna and Aeroz are on a mission to track down some missing human women and they end up on a space station. I always love space station scenes/plots in alien romances and this was so much fun. I loved finding out more about Aeroz, where he came from, and why he was called the Rogue. Julianna was a lot of fun and I loved the spice in this one the most in the series. Does it have to be over?

That was the most beautiful ending to a beautiful series 🥹. I wasn’t expecting much with Juls and Aeroz’s story, but I was pleasantly surprised. The plot with the Roth felt kinda rushed towards the end, but I read this book for the romance anway. Amazing series with amazing characters. I’m so sad to see them go, but I’ll love them forever 🫶🏼

Julianna and Aeroz were such a sweet couple and I think the perfect couple to wrap up the series with. Like most Suevan he was absolutely smitten by Juli and the action that pushed the plot forward always left a little room for the two to grow closer.
What a satisfying ending to a great series! I’m kind of sad it’s over but I know that I will return to these books in the future.

Julianna is amazing! The federation officer is not only a badass, but also a caring, compassionate, independent and fiercely protective Suevan warlord. And she’s so fierce and fiery - a woman who will always stand up for the people she cares about, who will always voice when something is wrong and who will do everything she can to make things right. Julianna is absolutely awesome and I loved her so, so much!
And then we have Aeroz, the Rogue! The Suevan warlord is huge, strong, fearsome, deadly and fiercely protective. Even more, he’s so sweet, honorable, patient and incredibly thoughtful. And so, so passionate and so irresistibly charming! Hot DAMN! Honestly, Aeroz is the whole package and I couldn’t help but adore every single thing about him!
I absolutely loved everything that happened between Julianna and Aeroz! They set on a mission to track down the Roth and the missing human women. Just the two of them, alone, in a small space ship… Oh, boy! While already married, all Julianna wants from Aeroz is friendship. And I loved Aeroz for giving her time to get to know him and see for herself that they were meant to be. And the more time they spent together, the more Julianna saw the phenomenal male Aeroz truly is. I just adored those two! Their chemistry was fantastic and I absolutely loved their banters and teasings. And the little language mishaps were such fun to read! Even more, Aeroz and Julianna were a badass team and I loved how understanding, supportive, trusting and protective they were of each other. And when they couldn’t resist the undeniable need for one another anymore… Holy HOTNESS! The little embers very quickly turned into a raging inferno of passion and I couldn’t get enough of the passionate moments they shared! Julianna and Aeroz were so perfect for each other and, after everything both went through, they more than deserved to find happiness and love with each other.
In addition, the storyline was spectacular! The mission to track the Roth leads us on quite the adventure on Hernus-12 - a space station full of many aliens and, even more, secrets. And with everything happening there and the unexpected discoveries and turns of events, I was glued to the pages till the very end. Wanna know why Aeroz is called the Rogue? Wanna know what will happen with the Roth? Well, you’ll have to read the story to find out. Trust me, it’s worth it! And the epilogue was absolutely perfect!
Overall, the story is a phenomenal series finale! It’s filled with adventure, non-stop action, danger, suspense, twists, humor, smoking-hot passion and incredible characters.
I couldn’t put it down and absolutely loved every single page of it!

Well, this one was interesting. I like both of the characters. And I really love how she defended him. But I'm glad the series is over.
Now, for my review of the series as a whole.
1. In all the books in this series, she started off with a lot of great ideas, and she gets about halfway through them, but then they just fizzle out in the end. She's a decent writer and has good concepts but simply not enough follow-through (See spoiler examples below).
2. It's a running gag through the series that the aliens don't understand idioms and colloquialisms; but then, they go around using expressions when the women are not around. (Example: In the last book, a Suevan and a Draegon talk about mercenaries having their fingers in a lot of pies. Say what?)
3. I love animals. So much. But why does everyone need to have one? Maybe it's because I read these back to back, but the scenes with the animals could probably have been skipped and instead have other scenes more fleshed out.
***Spoiler examples***
In the first sex scene for this book, there's a line where he says. "Now I'm going to f you like a Draegon." Okay, yay! Sounds promising. Turns out, however, that Draegons don't do much. I even reread the scene because I thought maybe I accidentally skipped a few pages. I did not.
Then, the whole thing with the portal from the last book. That seemed like a really interesting idea with room for adventures, but it's barely even talked about in this one. I think maybe a couple of lines about her family coming through the portal, and that's it. Even so, we don't get to see her actually reunite with her family in any meaningful way.
The situation with Aeroz's evil mom didn't really feel resolved. No backlash from her, or an acknowledgement of her errors.
What happened with the Federation? They sold these women, and that's it. Did the Suevans even say anything about being sold unwilling wives? Everyone just gives up because there's nothing that can be done anyway. Not even yelling at a general or something.
There were a bunch of ideas that could have been great, and we're just half-assed.
That being said, so far, in her Bound by Fire series, she seems to actually finish storylines a little more. But even then, there are still some gaps.

The end of the series, and I'm a little sad to see it be done! (Although I'm hoping that the author will write more books set in this world; she's definitely set it up to explore several more worlds, like Roth, the aquatic one I can't recall the name of, and the Draegon.)
The Rogue was one of my favorite warlords, just because he seems so much more friendly and less serious than the other ones. And I really liked Juls.
There were several problems for me, though. The first is that we've pretty much seen most of the events in this book already in other, prior books in the series.
They're supposed to be following someone who is kidnapped, but I don't feel like they put all that much effort into the search.
And the continuity errors! It felt like the author wrote the first couple of chapters, set the book aside for a long time, then started writing again without looking over the first chapters and changing everything.
The Rogue was one of my favorite warlords, just because he seems so much more friendly and less serious than the other ones. And I really liked Juls.

This whole series was great to read
I wish I either had a better memory or found this series after this book was done, I would have binge read it, if I had and somethings would have stayed in my mind better. I still enjoyed every book in this series, I would re read this series, I would recommend this series and I am really glad I don't have to decide if I have a favorite couple and I didn't have a couple I couldn't wait to read after the first book I just wanted to read them all.
This one is about Julianna (Juls) and Aeroz. It starts off with them in the ship on their way.
He is more interested in her than she is of him and is super kind, sweet and caring with him being very observant and being whatever makes her comfortable. They both liked, respected and were proud of each other, I really liked that. I either was just in a mood for a sweet story or didn't want any drama like that in their interactions because of how kind and considerate he came across from the very beginning. The turning from friends to more was smooth it felt natural and genuine.
You got to see why he is the 'Rogue' that was cool, you got to meet his family and that was jaw dropping, there was interactions with the other human woman that I always like in a series, you got to see her stick up for him and with her wanting to be friends at first that was just what I wanted.

This one is about Julianna (Juls) and Aeroz. It starts off with them in the ship on their way.
He is more interested in her than she is of him and is super kind, sweet and caring with him being very observant and being whatever makes her comfortable. They both liked, respected and were proud of each other, I really liked that. I either was just in a mood for a sweet story or didn't want any drama like that in their interactions because of how kind and considerate he came across from the very beginning. The turning from friends to more was smooth it felt natural and genuine.
You got to see why he is the 'Rogue' that was cool, you got to meet his family and that was jaw dropping, there was interactions with the other human woman that I always like in a series, you got to see her stick up for him and with her wanting to be friends at first that was just what I wanted.

Hunky, strong, kind alien males who treasure women and want their wives to do whatever they want, as long as they can love them. Just what you want in an alien romance series!
Each book, of course, presents us with a little different situation, and in this one the male turns out to be a prince with a terrible mother.
This is the last book in the series, and I think that for alien romances, the series is pretty good - three star. But it could have been so much more.
There are so many annoying omissions and undeveloped plot lines. For instance, in book 7, they find a portal, and somehow they're sure that it's going to offer them success in the war and save Earth and everybody else. Somehow. One of the characters mentions a woman who specializes in these wormholes. So you're thinking the next book will be about that. No, the next book is this one, the last book in the series, wherein the war just goes away and it's mentioned that they got the portal working. No details about the portal, just that they got it working. What? Really annoyingly undeveloped plot element.
Other undeveloped threads include the Roth (which is another book series though), the bad mother-in-law, the pets (at least one is definitely sentient), the bringing of Earth women to space, and the Draegon species. It feels like the author is constrained by the HEA format. There are so many great ideas that aren't developed.

This was a wonderful conclusion to the Accidental Alien Brides series. The hero is half Draegon (dragon) and half Saevan.
He loves the heroine so much and he has been patiently giving her space after the whole "I was married without my consent by the evil Earth government for alien technology" problem.
They are assigned a mission where the two of them will be alone on a spaceship. Hero is very excited about this.

He teaches her to plan Alien Battleship. They go to a space station as part of their mission. Their cover is a trip with his new bride. They go to food vendors, he buys her desserts. Absolutely Wonderful! A new favorite for the series. 💖
Sometimes the conclusion is bittersweet! I have to say that I am sad to this series end, but I love that I was a spectator along the way. I also have to admit that I think this is one of my favorite couples out of the series. It was great to finally see the last couple come together and accept their love and devotion for one another.
Both Julianna and Aeroz were made for each other and the adventure they find themselves on helps solidify their relationship and bring them closer together. Well, in all honesty, I think Aeroz knew from the beginning what he felt for Julianna, it just took her a little while to catch up.
“I love you, Aeroz, Rogue of Sueva. I see who you are, even the pieces you hide away, all of you, and I love you. And I will always stand up for you. Always.” I grin down at her, the sweetness of elation and joy replacing the bitter tang of shame. “And I for you, my tozhka.”
If you have not picked these up to read them, do so now! It’s a complete series now and has the best adventure, strong and courageous female characters, male characters who worship their mates, and lots of laughs and sexiness.

Perfect wrap up of the series THOUGH I would not be apposed to more :) This one I didn't think was a spicy as the rest, but the love story was still sweet.
"Sure, he's my husband— but we're only friends.
The minute our commanding officers assign us to track down the Roth and missing human women, I know it's a setup. Just my huge husband, Aeroz, and me, together, in a small space ship for however long it takes? Yeah. It's definitely a set up.
But Aeroz is an absolute gentleman —er, gentlealien— and not only do we get along great, but we're also a good team. He's a great sparring partner, he's charming and funny, and I love beating him at whatever Earth or Suevan game we play before we go to our respective beds at night.
Everything changes, though, when we have to pretend to be on a lover's vacation to blend in on a space station in our hunt for the Roth. The tension heats up until I realize maybe... just maybe, Aeroz might be more than a friend. Much more.
We have a job to do, though, and it's dangerous. The Roth are headed to Earth again, and we are the ones closest enough to stop them from mounting another devastating invasion. We don't have time to be distracted by love.
Or is love exactly what we need to save the day?"

I'm so sad this series is over, but man oh man was this such a brilliant finale! There wasn't a single flaw with this book. I loved the humor that Bell weaves into every book, this one included. I also loved how Aeroz and Julianna went from friends to lovers. I loved how deep and fierce their love for each other ran. This book just added so much to the world building of this series and yet, it concluded on such a strong note. I kept trying to slow my reading pace down by the epilogue because I just didn't want it to end! This book was perfectly perfect in every way!
I am by no means ready for this world to be over. The only saving grace to this being the last book, is that it sets things up perfectly for there to be more books in the Bound By Fire spinoffs. Not to mention that Alien Tides was kinda set up for a spinoff series as well with how it was written. My hopes are that we get to see a glimpse of these well loved characters in the Accidental Bride series through those spinoffs, should they happen. My fingers are crossed!

Wed to the Alien Rogue
I really loved this whole series (including Alien on Fire). It will definitely be one that I reread in the future.
I like the whole premise of their relationship in this book - that they are “friends”. The MFC has been saying this to the MMC and it was super interesting to watch the author move them out of the friends zone and make it believable. There's a whole part of him that she doesn't know about and once revealed, changes everything. The spicy scenes are well done and further the development of both characters and their relationship.
I very much appreciated the speech by the MFC to the mother-in-law defending the MMC. It was delightful and followed by the MFC’s declaration,
“I love you, Aeroz, Rogue of Sueva. I see who you are, even the pieces you hide away, all of you, and I love you. And I will always stand up for you. Always.”
There is something succinct and powerful and honest about that wording that is really moving. This author is definitely one of my favorites.

I am sad to see the series come to an end, but I am also hopeful that the next project will get a bit more love. I felt like the last 2-3 books just weren't as well planned/inconsistent compared to the beginning of the series. I am sad to see it go, but hopeful for the future of the world.
This book centered around the Rogue and Jules. I was excited to see her book as well because she was more of the badass type heroine who was scared to show vulnerability. This translated over into her relationship with Aeroz in the fact that she was keeping him at arms length, despite how well they worked together. She was only ever able to see him as a friend until she realized how short life could be, and that she was taking everything he offered for granted.
The book felt less structured than previous ones and almost rushed. I also couldn't stand the whole "my mom is this overbearing tyrant" trope. Idk. Just a little disappointed at the conclusion as the start of this series was so, so good.

🦅SO GOOD
January Bell and this series has been a comfort series for at least a year at this point. I think this is the last book in the series and where that depressing, I’m so glad we ended on this couple. The spicy scenes were beautiful as always, the consent checks were beautiful. I love consent checks down bad. The story line was amazing and as always the story/world building was out of this world(literally). I would recommend these books to anyone new to alien romance because they are short, cute, and pull you in to the story line. The Fl was a baddie(we love our fem warlords🥴) she definitely denied her feelings to a point I got a bit frustrated but, a lot of these books in the genre have that same troupe. That’s my only point of contention with this book. The ML, like all the ml’s in this series was a puppy dog, he was protective, considerate, and adorable. I’ll be ready the Spin-off series of this series! I’m excited for that. This book was outstanding and so was the series, so applause to Mrs.Bell!

She and Aeroz are on mission to save and protect the human females that disappeared with the Roth royal brothers a few books ago. Aeroz is a Rogue because he's past Suven and part Dreagon he's been in !I've with his human wife since the very beginning. He was appalled that the human government never told the females what was expected of them. He has been Patiently waiting for Juls to see him as more than just a friend. He hope the mission they are on will bring them closer together. Well in certainly does just that. Danger, A bit of intrigue, a impossible family member and the end of the Roth emperor wake this couple up. They realize just what they really mean to one another and love and passion bloom but along with that love their friendship grows strong and they truly have each others back! Aeroz and Julianna's story was full of friendship, love and spicy moments.
Like the previous couples within the series, both of them were married to each other. But even with that, Julianna automatically put Aeroz in the friend zone. To me, I think that she was just afraid to fall in love. He, on the other hand, loved her from day one and straight away he smelled the mate bond. Even with dangerous situations, they just needed time together, time to get to know each other and finally to fall in love.
It took a while for both of them to become friends, lovers and then soul mates, but when they did...OMG...it was just explosive. The attraction, the steam, the smut...it was everything 🥵🥵🥵. I loved them together so much, and I am glad that I had the chance to read their story ♥️.
Overall, I loved reading "Wed to the alien rogue".

I wanted more for the ending of this series.
Aeroz and Julianna could have a story bigger than what this was. There were a lot of interesting elements, like Aeroz's heritage, being in the alien port, and of course, the final confrontation with the Roth, that could have been handled in a much more impactful way. I found myself being drawn into the event but then being left wanting more.
The relationship also started in a strange place. Unlike the other relationships, where there was a clear understanding of where the characters stood with each other, it felt like Julianna couldn't decide if she wanted to be his friend, or even liked him though he gave her no reason to feel so wishy-washy. then were expected to believe they were friends when nothing about their interaction remotely resembled friendship and then poof they were just in love. It was confusing as shit.
While the HEA was super cute, the journey needed a little more beef to satisfy the ending.
