I stumbled upon this book on Goodreads, and decided to see if it had some new insights. And I am not disappointed. This books offers a lot tips and pointers, from safety to adventure, from packing light to returning.
I took my sweet time reading this book, because I was busy traveling myself. I am not new to Solo Traveling, and Solo Dining. I have been to European countries with just my backpack, and my beloved camera. Honestly, I do enjoy the solitude & flexibility. I inadvertently make mistakes, and then I reassess. This book confirms that I am not alone.
You might feel bored, thinking that you already know the topics mentioned here. Good for you! But I assure you that you will pick up some new tips. For example, I knew Travel Insurance existed. But I never seriously considered them. Having read this book, I will now thoughtfully get one before I travel.
This is a good read for all newbie travellers, and not just for the solo backpacker.
