One of Vincent’s men is found with the names of Recker and Haley in his pocket. After a brief investigation, it’s discovered that the man has taken dozens of pictures of them, along with Vincent, Malloy, Mia, and Cheryl. Before they even realize what’s going on, several dead bodies connected to the man appear.
As they investigate, they learn of a group of rogue police officers who appear to be involved somehow. But who are they after? Recker? Or Vincent? Someone from the past is going to use these pictures to get one to turn on the other. And it’s a race against time to figure it out, before the pictures get released, effectively destroying the lives and careers of Mia and Cheryl, and before one of Recker or Vincent has to kill the other.

Crosshairs has easily become on of my favorites of the Silencer saga. This was exactly the kind of suspense filled crime thriller I was waiting for. With mob boss Vincent and the Silencer team become the targets of mysterious figures who has names, pictures and locations of them all for the purpose of manipulation and endangering everyone in their lives, all bets are off as they are on the hunt to find out who is hunting them. Those figures are one who seem to be one step ahead of them all. As Vincent and the Silencer team are on a race against time to find out how they were targeted and why, they might just discover that there are forces are work that even they might not be able to stop.
This was a fast read as it was a page turner and I could not wait to see what was going to happen leading up to the finale and it delivered. This book is highly recommended.

Less vigilante, more target
This time round Mike and Hayley are the targets rather than the hunters, although they do some of the hunting in the end
It's a strange dynamic as it's the exact opposite to most of the other previous books. Vincent and Malloy play their usual parts and the twist is no real surprise
Jones plays a bigger part than usual too, with tech playing an important part. Overall the usual main characters seem to split the story evenly
I'm hoping the next book(s) revert to the vigilante side of the storyline as this one seemed.lacking

A gripping story in the Silencer series, this time with an unknown enemy in the background manipulating both Recker and friends and Vincent. The twists and turns keep the action going throughout and gripping to the finish.

Suspenseful and tidy
In the Mike Ryan fashion, the story continues with the characters we know and love. The detail and skill apparent of the author, and wrapped up in a nice bow in the conclusion. I wonder what else will be in book 23?!

Mike, Chris, and David team up with Vincent and Malloy to find out who is after them and why. This was a great book full of suspense and mystery. It kept me on edge until the end.
