Spend Christmas in Wyoming with four generations of the Covington family—rancher, musher, outfitter, and artist—as four couples take sleigh rides into romance.

I absolutely love this collection of four novellas! The stories span over many generations of the Covington ranching family in Wyoming and each one was wonderful. I really enjoyed how these stories were connected down through the ages and how the reader was able to see the progression of this strong family from one story to the next. I honestly can’t pick a favorite novella out of the four because they all have their own charm and I was left with a wonderfully happy feeling at the end of each one. I definitely recommend this sweet collection to those who enjoy romances.
I was provided with an electronic copy of this book in exchange for an honest review, which I have given.
A wonderfully sweet collection of four novellas that portray four generations of one family. Elizabeth Goddard and Lynette Sowell did an awesome job as writers for these novellas. The Teton Valley and Jackson Hole, Wyoming are a beautiful place and they are portrayed in an exquisite way. The romance is sweet and beautiful. Plus they reveal their faith in the Lord. This is a Christmas story I will want to read again. Actually I read it for the first time in the summer and it was so enjoyable.
Christmas reading in July makes for a cool, quick, enjoyable read. As the title suggests the Teton mountains and the sleigh ride connect the four novellas. The characters involved are the Covington family ranching in Wyoming. The span of the four wonderous tales occurs over four generations. The characters are well developed & well suited for the past being incorporated with the present. There is a mixture of humor along with both family and personal values. These novellas inspire the reader showing faith and prayer always help influence decisions across four generations. Be sure to read these novellas!!! I received this ebook from one of the authors. My opinion is my own.
This is a wonderful collection of novellas set in Jackson Hole, Wyoming. The collaboration of Elizabeth Goddard and Lynette Sowell brings to life the Covington family. This is a book that spans generations and I truly don't remember ever reading a book like this. It is wonderfully written and easily brings the characters to life for the reader. You get a glimpse of their heart and soul with the real to life dialogue that details family and relationship concerns. I got was easily pulled in by the beautiful imagery. The plot flows effortlessly between stories. This is a romance that is centers around the Christmas season and family traditions. I would recommend this to anyone.
This collection of four novellas set in Wyoming followed 4 generations of the Covington family who found romance at Christmas time. I loved the role the sleigh made by the first Covington settler played in each of the romancs from 1888 to modern times. Enjoyable read for the Christmas holidays.
This is a sweet book that is comprised of four stories about a family that settled in Jackson Hole, Wyoming. Warm and cozy, this book didn’t have quite enough excitement or plot to be my cup of tea. Someone who likes Christian romance would enjoy this book.
For what the book is it's not bad by any means. There are four stories in one. The first two written by Elizabeth Godddard were great. The stories are simple love stories. I enjoyed the religious aspect that was added throughout. With that said I felt that the 3rd and 4th stories written by Lynette Sowell left much to be desired. The third story felt like it went with the first two unfortunately, the last story missed the mark. The storyline felt lackluster and completely different than the feel of the first three. Over all it was an okay book.
I enjoyed the four novellas in this book, especially as it followed generations of the same family from the 1880's to today. The only problem with novellas like these are how rushed it all feels. Otherwise, this was a great set of stories from two very talented ladies.
My aunt let me borrow a bunch of her books and this was in the stack. I’m not a huge fan of novellas... not enough time to develop a good story. Things have to move too quickly. Just fluff, mostly. At least this was good fluff. :-)
I skimmed through a couple of these because they were like a Hallmark movie, but they are all sweet and clean. Good if you're looking for simple, easy-to-read Christmas stories.
A Grand Teton Sleigh Ride is a 4 in 1 collection of Christmas novellas that follow four generations of the Covington family through the years. Beginning in 1988 and ending in present day, you will find a fun mix of historical and contemporary. I think this was a unique and interesting way to write a collection of Christmas stories. You will enjoy four sweet romance stories that all incorporate an item of family history into their story. The stories paint a descriptive picture of the beautiful mountains of Wyoming, as well as the dangers and hardships of winters in the mountains. I did feel that a couple of the stories came to a very abrupt end and I would have enjoyed a little more length in those stories. Overall, this was an enjoyable and lighthearted book. A copy of the book was provided to me in exchange for my honest review.
I loved this novella collection! Elizabeth Goddard and Lynette Sowell vividly portrayed the Covington family and their beloved ranch in Jackson Hole, Wyoming. Spanning four generations, these stories are filled with faith, family, and love. I adored the romance and each special sleigh ride! While these novellas celebrate love at Christmas, A Grand Teton Sleigh Ride is a collection to love any time of the year!
I received a copy of this collection from the authors. All thoughts expressed are my own and no monetary compensation was received.
This compilation is the perfect thing for when you want to lose yourself in a story but don't have a lot of time. Comprised of four short novellas with a surprising common thread, each one stands on its' own. Set against the Grand Tetons, in different generations...it's just a fun read. Nothing serious, a little romance....just perfect.
I absolutely loved how this flowed from one generation to the next. I love when a story keeps going and doesn't end with just one generation. Elizabeth Goddard & Lynette Sowell did a wonderful job keeping the stories moving from one generation to the next and keeping the ranch in the family.
