Each store was quick and an easy read. I enjoyed the Christmas theme that seemed to be well-incorporated into most of the stories. I do wish they weren't all "damsel in distress" stories. God-loving women can find God-loving men without having a faith crisis with every problem that arises. But they all ended happily without too many surprises which I what I like a relaxing book.
I love how Christmas is a time of love, hope, and often second chances. It brings out the best in most of us. That is the essence of these wonderful stories by some very talented authors. A wonderful way to spend a December evening. Don't forget the hot chocolate and roaring fire as you enjoy these Christmas morsels.
This was a wonderful book with beautiful Christmas stories.. I love that you can read them all at once or a story a night. Definitely a cherished Christmas book to keep in my collection year after year.
I just loved this book. So heartwarming. I really liked that each story is set in a different decade, from oldest to newest, and that there was an actual Christian perspective for Christmas stories which seems to not be the norm. I'm not a huge "romance" reader, but these stories were lovely.
More delightful short stories for Christmas. I couldn't pick a favorite; my least favorite was the third, that had editing issues, but I loved about five of them with equal passion. I'll definitely be rereading these sweet tales next year.
This was a good Christmas read. It tells it like it was back in the day were things we a lot harder than they are now days. It was rough back in those days and Christmas was about famil. I enjoyed the old fashioned values in this story.
