Beck
I’m a gifted surgeon, a playboy who can have anyone I want with a click of my fingers. I get to play out whatever fantasy I want with whomever I want at the club I own with my best friends.
My life is perfect, so why do I feel like there’s something missing?

Then she walks back into my life, and I realize how hollow it all is. Amelia is my best friend, my anchor, the girl who knows all my secrets except the one I guard the most. She’s the love of my life, but I’ll never risk our friendship by telling her.

Only now she’s in his arms, the man who turns my blood to fire, my body to liquid lust. Xander makes me want things that are impossible and everything is messy in a way I never expected.
I love her.
I want him.
Can I risk it all for the two people I know I should stay away from or do I walk away from everything I’ve ever wanted?

Amelia
Beck is my best friend, the man who knows my every secret, except this one. I have loved him my entire life but he refuses to see me as anything other than his childhood best friend and I’m done running from my heartbreak. I need to move on.

Then I meet Xander, Hollywood’s golden star and he sees me, introducing me to passion like I’ve never known. He makes me happy in a way I never expected, but Beck is always there tempting me the chemistry between us is fire if only he’d acknowledge it.

Then I see the looks, the burning glances between the two men in my life.
It makes me wonder can I have them both. As passions and desires are unleashed things get messy in a way none of us expected.
I love them both.
I want them both.

Can have everything I ever wanted or will these two men, who have so many secrets, destroy us all?

Best friends Beck and Amelia can’t get past their friendship to be together and it’s not until Amelia looks to start dating the handsome Xander that Beck gets his butt into gear and does something about it, at the same time Amelia declares what she wants. It morphs into a throuole with some figuring out of the dynamics. Things don’t always go smoothly, particularly since Xander is famous.

Steamy and pretty sweet at times given these characters. Downside is of course their sickening successfulness and elitist world that is so far removed from reality.

I'm still sitting here with the fan on high! Woo wee, that was beautiful, crazy hot, and just the perfect way for this story to go!!!

This series has been absolutely incredible, but I have to say that Amelia, Beck and Xander are the new stars, as far as I'm concerned!

I'm not going to give away anything else because you all need to experience this all on your own.

Beyond outstanding LKnight!!! Five stars all the way!!

Amazing!

Well this story is amazing. Normally I can foresee what’ll happen with the storyline but with this book, there’s so many twists and turns, many ups and downs and unexpected moments! I loved every page.

What the fuck was that? I was so excited to get into Amelia and Beck’s story but turns out their story includes a throuple??? I don’t really like this type of relationship to be honest, I prefer when there’s intimacy exchanged with only two persons. There wasn’t any plot, it was flat, only sex. Extremely disappointed because if it was only Amelia and Beck this story could’ve been really good, they have this special connexion that I love, but it ended up being straight threesome porn. This series is only getting worse. I think I don’t even need to say that this is getting 1⭐️ only because we can’t put 0…

I thought I wouldn’t like this book at all. I am not into any types of tropes that involve more than two people in a relationship. Throuples, polyamory and why choose books are not for me. But I have to say, out of the first three books, this was the most enjoyable one. I still had issues with the pacing, the start of the relationships, the characters must have children to be happy propaganda, and the amount of spice it contained. Again, it is not romance, it’s er0tica. However, character, romance and relationship-wise this was a more entertaining read and even the spicy scenes felt more thought out. This was the first time I have seen some healthy conversations and emotional intelligence. I am glad I’ve read this, but I am not glad that it took 3 books to find likeable characters.

It didn’t have a confident start. There was no tension or even a build-up to the romance or even the relationships. It happened right away in the very first few chapters. That one page that was supposed to be the build-up and tension just didn’t cut it. It was rushed through which was pretty much the same theme for the first two books too. I’m guessing it’s just part of the writing style at this point, though it’s definitely not something I like.

Beck was portrayed as a stern, dominant genius who was well known for his skills as a surgeon. He showed more of a cold front to strangers, but with Amelia he was a sweetheart whilst with Xander he was more bossy at the beginning. Amelia was shown to be a very smart and also sweet, caring and kind character. She was the heart of the story in a way, who was always there for Beck, showcasing a loving and attentive behaviour whilst she was more of a sassy person with Xander at the beginning. Xander was more of a flirty character, always the centre of attention, but with Beck he became more submissive, whilst around Amelia he was more dominant and powerful. There was a very strong chemistry between the characters, but it wasn’t instant. It did feel a bit off at first, as I said, because it did feel rushed.

Amelia and Beck had a special connection from the beginning as they have been best friends for a very long time. But because none of them wanted to ruin their friendship, they didn’t confess their feelings to each other. Then came Xander who had an instant attraction towards Beck’s dominant demeanour and Amelia’s sweet and caring personality. I didn’t like how quickly Xander and Amelia started their relationship. It felt rushed and seemed to come out of nowhere. Meanwhile Xander and Beck had more of a build-up because of their history but then it went straight to… the bedroom as well. At this point except for Amelia and Beck, everyone had spicy scenes with everyone. Either way, because of their recklessness, they got caught and Amelia joined in as well, which then left me confused. Didn’t Amelia and Beck keep their feelings to themselves to avoid ruining their friendship? What changed in literally a minute? Of course, there was healthy communication and conversations, they were as open as they could be, but wasn’t that supposed to be before they jumped each other? It could have ruined the friendship anyway. It felt a bit odd how everyone wanted this throuple idea and no one seemed to be conflicted, confused or needing time to think. Everyone was on board from the get-go.

Regardless, as Xavier still didn’t come out publicly, and was worried about the backlash on his acting career, his relationship with Amelia and Beck was intimate and loving, but also more strained which then turned into the main conflict. I personally didn’t mind this conflict because throughout the whole book the characters were quite open with each other to avoid any misunderstandings such as “who loves who more”, or who feels neglected. Again, communication was on point and so was their emotional intelligence. They seemed to be in tune with what they wanted and what the others wanted, so it was surprisingly well executed in that sense. However, this required some sort of drama, some sort of conflict because it just can’t all be perfect. So, I appreciated that the conflict this time wasn’t about how terribly the MCs treated each other.

Romance-wise it was good, as I said, on point with communication, emotional intelligence, character development and intimacy, but the romance did get pushed back a bit just to have spicy scenes which I did not appreciate. I like spice, but I do not like er0tica, and the smut pretty much overpowered the romance. I wasn’t thrilled about Xander’s addition to the story at the beginning, but it ended up more entertaining than the previous two books, so I didn’t mind it at the end.

Pacing-wise, it was quick, but because there were many spicy scenes, it felt like a never ending smut. I knew where the story was going, it was easy to see because of Xander’s circumstances, but there was so much spice, it did feel like we were never actually getting to the main point. Because of the spice, it felt like it was dragged out. But then again, without the spice, it would have been a 100-page novella as it was er0tica.

Lastly, it’s my time to kick off. I said if before, and I am repeating myself again. I am so f’ing tired of authors thinking that the only way to achieve happiness is by having a child. I refrained myself from judging on it in book 1, The Auction, because it was in the bonus epilogue, and I did not know if it was a reoccurring theme. I sort of refrained myself from judging it in book 2, The Consequence, because they already had a child to begin with, so the amount didn’t matter by the end. But now I am officially p!ssed. I do not stand by this false propaganda in which women and men can only achieve their happy ending or feel fulfilled if they have children. It is mostly directed at women, they are the ones who have to carry the child, after all, and I don’t support this. It is not hard to understand that people can be fulfilled and complete without children. And the fact that 3 out of 3 books showcased the couple with children by the end of the book is exactly the sort of statement I do not support.

Whilst it had a rocky start and Xander was an unexpected addition to Beck and Amelia’s duo, the healthy(-er) relationships, the communication, the romance, the presence of emotional intelligence and the characters made it more entertaining than the previous books. However, the pacing, the amount of spicy scene, the dominance of the spicy scenes over the romance, the rushed writing style and babies popping out in each book made me less entertained. So, The Unexpected by L. Knight got 3/5 stars.

Ratings of the other books in the series:

The Auction 2/5 stars
The Consequence 2/5 stars
The Unexpected 3/5 stars
The Temptation 2/5 stars
The Enemy 3/5 stars

Mid-Reading Updates!

Wait, this is MMF? Oh god, I already know I'll not be a fan of this either. There's only a handful of polyamory books that were executed well amongst the ones I've read. Most always ignore one person over the others. I really wish I could DNF but once I start a series, it doesn't matter how much I dislike it, I can't DNF it. Oh well, we will see. Hopefully, Beck's emotional range surpasses a teaspoon's.

Page 28
It feels rushed. Like my god. I’m on page 28 and there were already two time-jumps and two spicy scenes and without any chemistry the MMF aspect is already insinuated.

Page 44
This book is a mess. Where was the build-up, the tension. A one-page tension is no tension. I knew from the beginning I wouldn’t be a fan of this book and I feel like I’m being proved right. I just want to get through this to get to Ryker. I need a sunshine character after all the grumps.

Page 51
Amelia, I like. She is funny and the least confused of all the MCs. The two dudes are just 🤦🏼‍♀️

Page 110
Interesting. I am not into er0tic@. I started reading this series because it was not mentioned on the Zon when I bought the books. I am also not into reverse harem or MMF, MFM or MFF etc. I’m not a sharer. But these three characters, regardless of what I said before, have more chemistry than the previous two couples together. I do believe it’s because I like Xander and Amelia a bit more. Beck is ok-ish, I guess.

Page 258
Interestingly, this was a better book than book 1 and 2, which is surprising as I am not a fan of throuples. I thought the throuple trope would be executed weakly as most of the books I’ve read, except for one, fail to create an equal dynamic, but this was well executed. Whilst the spice was too much for me, I’m not a fan of er0tic@, the chemistry and love between the characters were way better than book 1 and 2.

I’ve been dwelling over this review for a few days because the right words to do this book justice escaped me.

I could say it was good, but that would be a gross mis-justice to L Knight and the book.

This is the first MMF book L. Knight has done. I’ve read a number of exceptional MMF books from other authors and without a single doubt L. Knight has met and in some cases excelled their skill in her portrayal of a relationship with three people.

Amelia is a lucky, lucky lady, of that there’s no doubt!! She open and honest and draws people towards her, enveloping them in her light. Watching her dance around her love for Beck was both heart breaking and frustrating. It was so obvious that their bond was a rare and beautiful thing. She allowed her fear of losing him to colour how she saw everything.

But that’s what we all do isn’t it. Sometimes we’re are so close to a situation or we are unduly blind to what’s right in front of us. What’s that saying …. You can’t see the forest for the trees.

Beck…. Oh my lord this man makes every cell in my body stand up and pay attention!! He is a true caregiver. A total dominant alpha male and I couldn’t love him more.
While I wanted to smack him upside the head for being so blind, I also wanted to hug him. His commending presence just overtakes everything else, your mind is incapable of focussing on anyone or anything but this beautiful and oh so special man.

Xander is a beautiful soul. He compliments and completes Back and Amelia perfectly.
He is without a doubt an alpha male but he’s also open to be subservient when needed.
My heart bled for his inability to accept his sexuality. It just shows how cruel people and life can be that someone so talented would be judged and found lacking just because he loves Amelia and Beck with everything he has. I always think that no one should judge you until they’ve walked a mile in your shoes. We all deal with things behind the mask we wear and I hate that Xander felt he had to fear his private life becoming public.

Watching Amelia, Beck and Xander traverse their path to their own HEA was so emotional and absolutely beautiful. The depth and emotions within these pages are awe inspiring.

L. Knight portrayed Xander’s pain and fear in a respectful and heartbreaking way that creates an ache within me for him to find his way. Beck and Amelia floored me with their forgiveness and unconditional love.

This is without a doubt a truly stunning read that takes you on a spellbinding rollercoaster ride full of a vast array of emotions that will keep you on your toes all the way through.

Have I forgotten anything? Oops omg, how could I forget to mention the spine tingling, panty melting heat that roars to life. The chemistry and heat between these characters remind me of an overflowing volcano. That burning lava is moving swiftly, and you need to get the heck out of the way before it burns you alive.

Can’t recommend L. Knight or this story highly enough.

A trillion star review is still not enough to fully portray how freakin special this story is.

Beck and Amelia have been best friends since they were 7. Both are in love with the other but refuse to be the first to confess. Even if they've shared some steamy times together. Amelia tells the women of the group she loves him, but then swears then to secrecy. Xander comes into play by dancing with Amelia at a party, pulling her truths from her and setting Beck a challenge. It gets a bit out of hand. They decide to try being a trouple, but Xander makes them promise to hide it. That's going to blow up in everyone's face. How will they move on? Will they all live long enough to move past this?

Hudson has been an amazing side character, and I'm hoping he has his own book. I suspect I know who it will be with. But Ryker is next.
Xander really messed this all up. These 3rd act breaks are annoying because I don't think the one doing the wrong does enough groveling.

What a great HEA for Beck and his childhood sweetheart Amelia. But who would have expected that Xander would also be part of this HEA!?

I found Beck to be a great man in the earlier books. Someone who cares for others, which is also reflected in his choice of profession; doctor. However, his love life is not what he hopes. He keeps his love for his childhood friend hidden, afraid as he is to ruin their friendship. But Amelia's feelings for Beck have also changed. She has known for years that she loves him, but she too does not dare to take the step for fear that their friendship will change forever.

During a party she gets to know Xander, the megawatt star from Hollywood, brother of Nora (from a earlier part) and what she feels when she is with him matches her feelings for Beck and with him she dares to act accordingly. What she doesn't know is that Beck and Xander know each other and are both bisexual. The scene where this becomes clear to her is the moment where their 'throuple' arises.

As a world famous actor, Xander cannot come out as bisexual. Beck must therefore remain in the shadows, he was, as it were, a dirty secret. None of the 3 would have expected that this would bring so much tension, until it comes out where their love lies. A heartbreaking end seems to be heading for them, a near death experience changes everything.

Wonderfully written! A book full of love, beautiful, respectful and hot bed scenes and enough depth in the characters to understand where they come from and act as they do.
Highly recommended!!

Thanks L. Knight for an ARC of The Unexpected. This is my honest and voluntary review on this book

I have not been a fan of MMF in the past but this book turned me around and really changed my opinion. The story is about love first and foremost and how three people care about each other. For so many years there has been a loving friendship between Amelia and Beck, but because he feels he can’t tell her he loves her because he has secrets, she turns to others. She has tried to get him to see her as more than a friend but he refuses to go there and Amelia is hurting because of it. One of Becks secrets is Xander, whose sister is Norrie and along with her husband Harrison faced their own struggles to get to love. Xander is a “handsome specimen of all that is male” and a popular actor in action films. Xander and Beck have their own secrets and it takes a series of events for Amelia to find out about the two men she loves. Through near tragedy how the story unfolds kept me eager to turn to the next page and Amelia, Beck and Xander have some difficult times ahead before love can succeed. Yes it’s MMF, but the story of love is the key factor and very well written. I am now a fan of MMF so long as it’s written by L. Knight!

Holy hotness! I knew Xander’s book would be amazing and Beck and Amelia but I didn’t see it going in the direction.
All I can say is the name fits the book! L. Knight did an incredible job with this one! I am not a huge reader of MFM but I am now!

Amelia and Beck have known each other for many years and have been best friends for just as long. Neither of them willing to admit they had feelings for one another because they didn’t want to hurt the friendship they have come to depend on and treasure but the love they share secretly can’t be hidden, everyone sees it, even Xander!
Xander is a movie star and pops in at a charity auction at Club Ruin and sees Amelia and decides to go for it. He wants to get to know her and know her he does but that isn’t enough, he wants both.

Xander, Beck, and Amelia find themselves in a sexual relationship and everyone is happy until it is leaked to the media. Can they protect one another and keep their relationship alive in the midst of the media storm that is caused because of Xander’s popularity?
I can’t wait to see what L. Knight has in store next!

The Unexpected is about a relationship between Amelia, Beck, and Xander. Amelia and Beck have been best friends since they were children, and their relationship takes a spicy turn when Xander joins the picture by pursuing Amelia. Xander had previously been saved by the handsome heart doctor, Beck, but never acted on the attraction until Amelia. Their relationship was kept private because of Xander’s acting role. In reality, it was due to deep rooted issues with him coming out as bisexual. Beck saves Xander physically and Amelia saves both of them emotionally.

I really loved how the book focused on the dynamics of the relationship, and the personal growth all the characters have to go through to be their best selves for the others. I also loved how Amelia and Beck stayed a strong unit when things went sideways with Xander. Beck never let his devotion to Amelia falter. I can see how they easily forgave Xander after the huge risk he took by going public with their relationship. Don’t get me started on the three epilogues we also got!!

What can I say about this story? L. Knight has outdone herself! This book was definitely worth the wait. Amelia and Beck have known each other since they were seven years old. They have always been there for each other, no matter what. They are both in love with each other but are afraid to admit it. Beck is afraid to say anything because he doesn't want to lose Amelia as his best friend. Amelia stayed silent for the same reason. Enter, one Xander Reynolds. He sweeps Amelia off her feet at a charity auction at Club Ruin and snagged the attention of Beck. Xander develops feelings for them both, but can't say anything for fear of damaging his career as an A-list actor. Amelia and Beck agree, for his sake. Can he be brave and fight for the two he loves, or is the future they want not to be? Get this book ASAP and find out. I promise you won't regret it. Sorry, no spoilers. I received this ARC and here is my honest review.

Wow! 🔥🔥🔥 Five stars just aren’t enough stars to rate this book! This is book three in the Kings of Ruin billionaire series. Amelia and Beck have been very close friends since they were seven years old, both from very wealthy families, and both very successful in their own right. But it’s the extreme sexual tension that is only part of the story, neither wanting to “ruin their close friendship!” Enter Xander the movie star! The heat between Amelia and Xander if off the charts HOT! This book will make you laugh, cry, squirm in your seat, and then close to the end the author adds a twist that will make you gasp! I cannot wait for the next book in the series because the author will have to top this one! When you read this book, give yourself time, and Kleenex, because you will not want to put it down until you’re finished! L. Knight is an excellent author who can literally make you an emotional basket case with her words!

Well. That was definitely not what I was expecting! But I loved it…
This was not an easy story to write and the way Maddie tackled the subject was done with skill, empathy and understanding.
The triangle that develops between Amelia, Beck and Xander starts as an uneasy alliance. With Amelia being the central fix for both men. Secrets between Amelia and Beck mean that time has been lost when these two could have been more than BFF’s and the added attraction of a film star action hero in Xander, for both Amelia and Beck means that these secrets will all come spilling out at some point.

This story is full of ‘feels. There’s joy and heartbreak. Sex and love. I nearly cried at one point (very unlike me!) It flows beautifully as the threesome’s relationship goes through ups and downs as they find their love.
Super excited now for Rykers story and will we get to see Audrey finally meet her match

It seemed as if the characters had all grown up together but for some reason the movie star (the brother of one of females) acted as if he was a newcomer. Why? The so-called best friends man and woman acted more like juveniles than a successful surgeon and a supposed brainiac. Then we come to find out the surgeon and the movie star had a history.

The besties were both afraid that their relationship would be ruined if they followed up on their desire for one another. I call bullshit. Sex isn’t what ruins relationships. It’s feelings that cause problems, which they already had for one other aplenty. The doctor was acting like a possessive jerk so I highly doubt that sleeping together would add a new dimension.

Anyway, I am not going to finish this as once the sex between the three of them began it felt like that’s all that happened in every scene and I got bored. The sex club was almost an afterthought.

The unexpected

I couldn't wait to find out Beck's story, and it absolutely did not disappoint!!

Beck and his bff Amelia have danced around their attraction to each other for years but Beck will not cross that line because he values their friendship and refuses to risk losing Amelia, but their is only so much one girl can take.

So now we have Player 2 Xander, who is attracted to not only Amelia but also Beck, and things just got a whole lot more interesting.

This book is nothing short of perfection!! The relationship between Beck and Amelia is special, but Xander completes them in a way that neither of them expected.

This book deals with so many big themes, and L.Knight does it in the most wonderful way. Every time I read one of these books, I think I have found my favourite couple, but honestly, this full group is just amazing. Can't wait to see what we have in store for Ryker.

100% recommend the book Author and series Kings of Ruin.

🔥🔥🔥🔥Yes this story is smokin hot and steamy, chemistry off the charts and fabulous characters. There is some angst and a little heartache, a whole lotta love and romance, plus there's a twist or two unexpectedly. I loved Beck and Amelia from the start, so close and such great friends it was obvious the love was much more. Then there's Xander and I just wondered how it would work out. Fabulously exciting and moving story, gripping, I didn't put it down. I loved the friendships and support of the other characters and the wonderful epilogues. This has wow all the way through it, had my heart pumping and I definitely got hot. Another excellent book from this author. I needed a distraction, something I could dive deep into and not surface until the end and boy did this deliver, emotional and so many levels, with well developed characters, it gave me the escape I needed.

This third book in the Kings of Ruin series by L. Knight is absolutely stellar. It is a menage romance that almost sets the pages on fire with the spice and sizzle....phew! Grab a fan cuz you're going to need it while you read. Take two lifelong friends whose love for one another is apparent to all those around them but they are seemingly blind to. Add in a Hollywood A-Lister to stir things up a bit and you get spontaneous combustion. The Hollywood publicity machine, gossip tabloids, the paparazzi, a disingenuous agent and career ening rumors play a major role in this emotional romance. I loved all three of these characters. They are unique, interesting and richly layered. It was also great having players from the first two book sprinkled liberally throughout make for some humorous moments, some no nonsense conversations and a vital support system for Beck, Amelia and Xander.

This is my favorite book from the series. The Unexpected was phenomenal. There is such a beautiful love story between Beck, Amelia, and Xander. It is also steaming hot. I was drawn in from the beginning, and I couldn’t put the book down. Beck and Amelia have been friends since they were kids. They both want more, but they are afraid to ruin their friendship. The handsome movie star Xander appears in their lives, and he falls in love with both of them. Can they make this life together work? They face some rough times, but their strong personalities and their feelings for each other might save their relationship. Each character is so well developed, and their interaction is captivating. L. Knight has mastered writing emotional stories with all of the feels. I can’t wait for the next book!

Oh wow, this is another great story from L Knight, she has rapidly become one of my favourite authors and for me her books are a must buy as soon as a new one is released. Amelia and Beck have been friends since childhood, their feelings for each other have developed into love but both are scared that by acknowledging it it could ruin their relationship if the other does not feel the same. Xander is the catalyst for change though, and as the relationship between them all develops there are highs and lows as one of the trio wants to keep their relationship a secret. There are some really hot scenes as the chemistry between the three of them is off the charts, but also some really emotional moments. I can really recommend this book, as well as the other two in the series so far. Can’t wait for the next one.,

Bring on the heat!!

Beck, Amelia, and Xander are an unexpected throple that turn up the heat to a maximum level. L. Knight's King's of Ruin series was already a must read. And this next one in the series is no exception.
If you have read the previous book, Beck and Amelia are not the surprise. Xander is. But he adds so much to the dynamic that now I don't think Beck and Amelia work without him.
They don't face what I would think of in as normal throple issues. Instead they face so much else, that you will be both yelling at the stupidity of the people around them and saying "come on really, haven't they been through enough?!?!?" Page after page. Just plan on not getting anything done until you read the very last page.

Wow for the first try at reverse harem theme books, L Knight really does it well.
This was about Amelia who's was in love with her best friend Beck, a heart surgeon and he was in love with her but something was missing from their relationship and that thing was Xander a movie star who loved them both.
This was full of life, steamy, romantic and full of drama.
I loved the push pull of Beck and Amelia's relationship as they come to get to know each other and reveal their feelings but the addition of Xander to the relationship was an accident but a welcomed one.
The feelings run deep in this book as does the secrets and small betrayals but it is a mature and smart approach to the reverse harem subject.
Fantastic story and so well written. Wonderful story!!

You know a book is going to be great when you start reading it and it pulls you in from the start. It takes you out of your world and you are catapulted into a fantasy that makes you forget about everyday worries and issues going on in your life and the world...The Unexpected is that kind of book! I have to admit, of the 3 characters, Beck was my favorite. Once he decided what he wanted and deserved to have, he went for it and Xander & Amelia went on the ride of their lives with Beck. As much as it had passion (boy was the passion HOT) there was also angst and betrayal that made me want to pull my hair out and shout at Xander to get his act together.

Well done L Knight, as far as MFM characters, these 3 were absolutely mesmerizing throughout the book.

Where to even start?!? OMG this is by far L Knight’s best book! If you want a great story then this book is for you. If you want a 🥵 story then this book is for you too. I loved all of the characters. Beck , Amelia and Xander were so 🥵🥵🥵 together. Their love is different from what most people would accept but they don’t care. They try to keep it private because Xander is a movie star and he believes that it would ruin his career. But inside of Amelia’s house they are anything but private. It’s not every day that you can find 2 loves of your life. One a man and one a woman. But they all love each other and make their relationship work. I can not recommend this book enough! L Knight really hit it out of the park with this one. It has a great story but it also is steamy as all get out!

Another great read by this talented author, I had been looking forward to this book as I had been intrigued by Beck and this book certainly did not disappoint. This follows the relationship between Beck, Amelia and Xander. This story certainly delivers on the sizzle factor, however it also delivers a beautifully crafted love story between three people. Beck and Amelia have been close since childhood then Xander comes into the picture and alters the dynamic, the development of this different relationship is a delight to read and makes an excellent addition to the series. I couldn't put this book down as the media storm surrounding the romance threatened to destroy their happiness. recommend this book highly and eagerly await to see what this author has in store for us next

Full of enough steam to satisfy any craving

Amelia, a physics whiz, leaves without saying goodbye when Beck, her best friend, breaks her heart after graduation and on her return to their friend circle finds herself attracted to Xander, a movie star, as well as still carrying a torch for Beck after being gone for years. As the story progresses a war of alphas begins, they start a relationship that makes their heads spin, and if they do not face things together it could come to a time where nobody wins. The unexpected was unexpectedly sweet on romance but full of enough steam to satisfy any craving.

I received a free copy of the book from the author. I had the opportunity to review or not.
