WHAT IF…CARTER BURKE HAD LIVED? For years, fans of James Cameron's legendary Aliens questioned whether Carter Burke, a company man more hateable than the Xenos themselves, had actually survived the traumatic events on the terraforming colony Hadley's Hope. Now the actor behind the beloved villain, Paul Reiser, joins his son Leon and the star-studded team of writers and producers Adam F. Goldberg, Brian Volk-Weiss and Hans Rodionoff for a journey back to Hadley's Hope and the twisted escape of a man who should have died.
Five stars because I can't give a 4.5 and 4 is too low for how much I enjoyed the comic.
I have a love/hate relationship with Carter Burke. I know each of his lines in the movie off by heart, and i don't even know why that is
What if it's a comic series based in the "Aliens" universe based on the character Burke and letting us see what would happen if he'd survived the xenomorph nest.
The art was disappointing,I am not going to lie. None of the characters even looked like the characters. Riley didn't look like her, and neither did Burke or Hicks.
Oh gee, an issue of a comic where an alternate scenario is played out from something else, and shenanigans ensue. Never seen that done before.
Also, there was a part in this comic where someone says "Seven! Six!", and I got kinda scared when reading that. This is what that stupid meme has done to me, I can't see those two numbers the same anymore. It's ok though, because Alien wouldn't resort to referencing a meme like that........ right?
Issue #1

I think, given all the time, all the resources necessary to ask everyone on earth, including the dead. you would not find a single person who has asked or cares about "what if Burke survived in Aliens" and skimming ahead I have no clue why this question needs 5 fucking issues.
