His face was hidden by shadows…I felt his muscular chest rise and fall as if it was pressed hard against mine. I have felt it before. I watched him watching me… I knew what he would do when he caught me. Why did I want him to catch me? Trapped in a dark house she doesn’t remember, Lily flees the monster pursuing her. But as her memories return, she realizes he isn’t the one to be feared…she is. Jonathan wants Lily. He wants his freedom, but he’s torn between his desire to escape and the monstrous lust holding him prisoner between her thighs. Blood. Sex. Darkness. Fear. There is no escape for either of them. And the only way Lily will survive is by surrendering to her hunger and Consuming Him.
Amelia James started reading steamy romance novels in junior high, but her mom took them away from her, so she started daydreaming instead. After she got married, she wrote some of her naughtier daydreams down and sent them to Playgirl magazine. Two of them got published. She kept daydreaming and writing stories until her dirty stories turned into trashy books.
She lives in Colorado, but she’ll always be a loyal Wisconsin Cheesehead. When she’s not lusting after her next bad boy hero, she looks for inspiration in sci-fi and action movies, football players, bloodsucking lawyers, muscle cars, and kick-butt chicks.
This is a short and erotic read. I was reading a book of author and read this.
Lily when wakes up finds herself in a very compromising position..she has no memory and someone's out in house to kill her..but as the playful/Erotic fight with Jon begins she realizes who she is - she is predator and Jon is prey and he will come back again every time..this is her life and this is how she likes.
Have to say it was different, paranormal and interesting read.
Quite enjoyed this story and the twist it had in it. Would love too see it as a novel and love the idea of it. I liked the "play" on characters and the mystery of who was really holding who captive and the end of both characters really being captive too their own fears, love and hate.
