Dreena Collins writes stories exceptionally well. It takes skill to convey a full story in a limited word count without losing the quality. Ms Collins delves into characters heads and hearts and extracts what's there. This compact edition of three volumes of her stories makes you think about the subtleties of human existence, the sometimes minuscule shifts that lead us somewhere else. If you haven’t read any of her work this is one of the many places to start. There’s a good chance one of my favourite writers may become one of yours.

Excellent twists!

"Mid Life Chrysallis" and "Stay" were my two favorites in Dreena Collins' book of short stories titled "Collected: The Complete Stories II". No two stories in the collection are alike, leaving the reader anticipating a delightful twist in each. This author paints a vivid word picture that is unparalleled in the short story world. I have high praise for her abilities and imagination. We need more than 5 stars for her work.
