Wie zu erwarten, steckte selbstverständlich hinter der arrangierten Ehe der beiden mehr. So etwas in der Richtung hatte ich ehrlich gesagt schon erwartet. Ich war nur überrascht, dass Maki so eine unerwartet lange Leitung hat. *seufz*

Dennoch legte Ichika nun endlich (fast) alle seine Karten auf den Tisch und ich bin gespannt, wie sich die Beziehung der beiden von nun an entwickeln wird. Wird es noch irgendwelche Hindernisse geben, die dem Glück der beiden entgegenstehen? Bisher ist nichts am Horizont zu sehen. Aber was nicht ist, kann ja noch angeflogen kommen. *hust*

Denn bisher hat man nur Makis Familie kennengelernt. Die Familie von Ichika ist bisher nicht aufgetreten und ich kann mir gut vorstellen, dass es da durchaus noch im Verlauf der weiteren Geschichte zu Spannungen kommen kann.

Zumal bisher niemand weiß, dass die beiden verheiratet sind in ihrem Büro. Oh weh, wenn das mal rauskommt...

Ansonsten ein schöner Manga mit einer recht unschuldigen Protagonistin, die langsam aber sicher wirklich erwachsen zu werden scheint.

When Maki says she loves him I was like...girl...you've been married for a couple weeks AT MOST.

And then she says it's because he's handsome, takes care of her, feeds her, and I was like you know what? Valid lol.

So turns out they have a little bit of a history and MMC actually remembered her from the past. Ends with them banging and he's going to reveal why he was looking for an arranged marriage in the first place.

3.5/4 stars of chaos. That took a turn with an out of nowhere twist of them having history, her knowing how to only make egg dishes, and upping the pg rating to r. But, I like this kind of chaos (plus cat named after fish cameo), so I'm in.

I devoured this whole series in just a afternoon it's a cute sweet slightly steamy romance. I loved the relationship between Maki and Ichika they just complement each other so well. It's only 5 vol but for a quick romance with a HEA I highly recommend. The artwork is beautiful as is the story.

In which we get a bit steamy! Enjoyed this volume a lot. I love a softly angsty backstory and Maki/Ichika's is cute. Her more cringe otaku side got toned down a bit and we got some more personality out of Ichika. I'm curious to see what the next conflict for their budding relationship is.

this volume definitely got ridiculous lol. sudden love confession and the classic ‘OMG I actually knew him when we were younger but completely forgot/didn’t recognize him’ trope. entertaining but won’t be continuing.

This one was cute, I love the little extra “after the scene” panels that are at the end. They add to the overall story in a such cute and funny ways. Also love how they have a history together!
