Rowan Coleman

49 books851 followers
Rowan Coleman lives with her husband, and five children in a very full house in Hertfordshire. She juggles writing novels with raising her family which includes a very lively set of toddler twins whose main hobby is going in the opposite directions. When she gets the chance, Rowan enjoys sleeping, sitting and loves watching films; she is also attempting to learn how to bake.

Rowan would like to live every day as if she were starring in a musical, although her daughter no longer allows her to sing in public. Despite being dyslexic, Rowan loves writing, and The Memory Book is her eleventh novel. Others include The Accidental Mother, Lessons in Laughing Out Loud and the award-winning Dearest Rose, a novel which lead Rowan to become an active supporter of domestic abuse charity Refuge, donating 100% of royalties from the ebook publication of her novella, Woman Walks Into a Bar, to the charity. Rowan does not have time for ironing.

I read this book about a year ago but I had accidentally started on book number 3 (this book) and never got then chance to read the rest I guess I forgot about it after nagging my mum 1000 times a day to buy them then today I suddenly remembered it. Let me tell you this book is 100% the best book i have ever read and I cant wait to read the first two and the last 3. The plot is so amazing and so are the characters istg I used to dream about Sean rivers everyday i was a complete simp (and still am). and sorry but sean and ruby belong together and I'm not changing my mind, I did see the blurb of the last book and got extremely excited. Anyways i highly recommend this book 5stars is wayyyyyyy too less to top up this book amazing book i cant wait to finish the rest the author is seriously talented.

I saw the advert for Ruby Parker Superstar at the back of Ruby Parker, Shooting Star, so I thought it would be a story about the filming of Spotlight. Goodreads page helped me a lot by listing it as an alternative edition of Film Star.

Thanks, Goodreads, for solving that question for me.

Good book with good character development from the first one. I helps if you read the fist book before this one, but it's easy to catch up on. I recommend this book for teenagers (girls) 11-14 :)
