Trigger warnings: everything. Most brutal manga I've ever read, but I still couldn't look away from horrible people dying horrible deaths by the hands of one grieving mother.

Weibliche Rache? Klingt erst mal gut. Aber ich wurde enttäuscht. Die Figuren bleiben alle flach. Die bösen Mobber sind einfach nur böse. Maria zeichnet sich durch nichts Anderes aus als das Muttersein. Einmal wird kurz erwähnt, dass sie selbst in der Schule gemobbt wurde und deswegen Schulkrankenschwester werden wollte (um zu helfen). Das war’s dann auch. Hier kann man also einer oberflächlichen Geschichte mit harten Gewaltszenen und flachen Charakteren folgen, ohne jegliche psychologische Tiefe, dafür mit unnötigem Fanservice, den ich beim Lesen aufgrund der Thematik und der gewaltvollen Szenen, in denen er teilweise vorkam, super unangenehm fand.
Das Ende (Spoiler) scheint ein kleines bisschen mehr Spannung zu versprechen, da Marias Ex-Mann und Vater ihres getöteten Sohnes jetzt wohl als Polizist in die Sache verwickelt wird. Interessant, weil er noch glaubt, sein Sohn wäre an Suizid gestorben, und er nun bzgl. Marias Taten ermittelt (bisher ein verschwundener Jugendlicher).
Ich finde den Manga nicht ganz so schlimm wie From the Red Fog 1 oder Brutal 01: Bekenntnisse eines Mordermittlers (im weiteren Sinne ähnliche Thematik, Rache und Folter), die beide reine Torture Porn sind, dennoch keine Empfehlung.

Empfehlenswerte ALTERNATIVEN über Rachegeschichten, sowohl persönliche als auch stellvertretende Rache:

Sehr guter tiefgehender, psychologischer Roman über die Dynamiken einer Gruppe, die einen Menschen quält, basierend auf wahren Ereignissen:

A Revenge Story to my liking. Definitely not for the faint of heart. And you will need a strong stomach.

Short Synopsis.Boy gets bullied in school. Mom goes for revenge.

The Art is elevating the disturbing content, capturing the emotions and twisted minds perfectly. You can see how torn and traumatized some of the characters are. The main antagonist stands out above all, it a perfect portrait of a psychopath.

Enjoyed it wholeheartedly and couldnt wait for more.

There’s so much I can say, but for now I want to say that tho manga has such an interesting premise and the execution is just as good. A mother’s love knows no bounds, and this feels like the movie SAW. The main character aka the mother has so much planned and I don’t think nearly enough time for the execution.

I support women’s rights and women’s maternal instinct to brutally murder all of her dead son’s bullies.

And what more do I have to say?

This was horrifying (both the thought that someone could do this, and the actual horror portrayed in the art), and it was emotional, and I wanted to cry for the mom so bad.

Anyways, you should read this (if you can’t get your hands on a physical/legitimate copy… *whispers* bato is your friend) if not for the visceral and emotionally captivating art and story then to support a mother who lost her only son is out for JUDGEMENT.

The cruelty of those bullies and the tragedy it follows... exquisite *chef kiss*
I always like a revenge story, and what is a deeper reason for revenge than maternal love. The author really manages to convey the horror and cruelty of these bullies, not only by how the story is told but by the art of it, it makes you feel the sadness and anger of Maria.

"A mother love is as deep as it is horrifying"

I hope he can punish them, because at least so far, none of them deserve any other ending.

POPKULTUROWY KOCIOŁEK: Pierwszy tom serii już od początkowych stron nie oszczędza czytelnika, prezentując mu różne oblicza przemocy. Manga nie unika brutalnych scen, w tym dręczenia i znęcania się psychicznego. Oznaczenie „+18” w pełni odzwierciedla treść, która porusza tu naprawdę trudne tematy.

Każdy rozdział buduje napięcie, prowadząc do dramatycznych i brutalnych konfrontacji. Na kolejnych stronach widzimy również przemianę tytułowej Marii z zatroskanej matki w zdeterminowaną kobietę, owładniętą chęcią zemsty. Czytelnik od początku doświadcza więc emocjonalnej intensywności, która może przytłoczyć co bardziej wrażliwego odbiorcę.

Zaletą Wyroków Marii jest realistyczna psychologia głównej bohaterki. Maria działa z motywacją, którą można zrozumieć, mimo ekstremalnych metod. Każdy przeciwnik Marii zostaje zaś ukazany jako moralnie zdegenerowana jednostka, która nie zasługuje na przebaczenie. Kryje się jednak za tym pewna głębia, którą musi sam odkryć czytelnik.

Tytułowi nie brakuje jednak wad, które mogą zniechęcić część czytelników. Jedną z nich są kompletnie niepotrzebne i niewnoszące nic istotnego do fabuły sceny seksualne. Pewne zastrzeżenia można mieć również do postaci drugoplanowych. Są one stosunkowo płytkie i rzadko otrzymują głębszy kontekst.

Jeśli chodzi o oprawę graficzną, to ta prezentuje się tu naprawdę dobrze. Starannie narysowane postacie i szczegółowe tła nadają mrocznemu klimatowi autentyczności. Historia jest odpowiednio brutalnie zilustrowana, momentami dość drastyczna, ale bez przekraczania akceptowalnej granicy....

This had so much potential, but the writing is really poor and underdeveloped in the later volumes. Should I be excited that adult is trying to punish the children? They for sure deserved that, but really, they are not really worthy opponents. There is no cat and mouse situations there to keep story interesting. Also, some of those things just happened too easy without much explanation. Accomplice in the story is for me totally unnecessary, not adding any value in the story. The "plot twists" are kinda elementary school writing... Really, ketchup instead of blood? :D :D :D Are you also telling me that parents cannot handle a little bocchan? I am still waiting for more depth to be added to the story. The art is 10 out of 10. We are all reading it just because we are simping for Maria and so it shall be like this until the end of the story. I still think, this will get really popular with the masses.

Irgendwie finde ich derzeit recht häufig sehr krasse Geschichten mit realen Hintergründen, die einen nicht schnell entfliehen lassen und immer wieder aufzeigen, dass wir auch in unseren modernen Gesellschaften immer noch Probleme haben, die immer wieder auch jungen Menschen das Leben kosten. So auch in dieser Geschichte.

Doch hier lässt das eine Mutter nicht einfach über sich ergehen und nimmt auf ziemlich kreative Art und Weise Rache an den Peinigern ihres Sohnes.

Ich bin wirklich sehr gespannt, wie die Serie sich noch entwickeln wird und wie der Showdown zwischen Maria und dem eigentlichen Drahtzieher aussehen wird. Beide sind höchst intelligent und beide haben ein Ziel. Doch wer wird erfolgreich sein? Ich bin gespannt.

Der Zeichenstil ist düster und anspruchsvoll zugleich. Interessante Mischung und Storyline.

A gruesome revenge thriller about a grieving mother hunting down the psychotic bullies that drove her son to suicide. Very similar plot structure and character motives as Brutal Satsujin and Jujika No Rokinen, but with a more empathetic protagonist who kills evil people to protect abused children. Dexter would be proud.

While the plot is a bit shallow and ridiculous at times, I really like the main character and the villains are such evil little bastards that it’s fun to watch karma get them one by one.

Another aspect of the story that I think will be interesting later on is that the main character’s ex-husband is a police detective. What will he do when he finds out that his ex-wife is killing evil children to protect the innocent ones?

This manga is still ongoing had i known that i wouldn’t have started it im finished with chapter 57 waiting for the next hope they don’t drag it too much now and conclude things

When I started reading this it was raw and personal and made you feel now it’s just politics and gang wars after the downfall of the first 3 enemies it has gone downhill and less interesting I’m into gang wars sadly but when it was individualistic for the revenge our mc deserved. I think expanding on the core characters giving them more depth would have been better than introducing so many unnecessarily added characters… it’s disappointing and it should end .. really.
Looking forward to Okaya’s revenge arc
