Born of Courage

by M.L. Hubbell

Locked in a world consumed by darkness, Lillanya knows she must do whatever it takes to survive. But when she's given a seemingly impossible task - to stop the darkness and save her world - she knows she can't do it alone.

Armed with only two crystals and a fierce determination, she sets out on a journey that will test her strength, courage, and ultimately, her fate. But as she braves the past to save the future, she finds an unlikely ally in Merrick - a Hunter shunned by his own kind, seeking redemption in a merciless world.

Together, they must face their own demons and the darkness that threatens to destroy everything they hold dear. Will Lillanya's determination and grit be enough to save her world, or will the darkness consume them all?

About the author

I started writing in the middle of the Covid pandemic just for something to do and then realized that I loved it. Born of Courage became my passion project after I had run out of things to remodel around my house, and I am excited to share it with you!

Like all good things in this world, passion and perseverance are the keys to success. I wanted to create something that readers could experience, so on my website you’ll find several maps and images that reflect the people and places Lillanya will meet along the way.
