I love the addition of Bethany, Jordan's ex of about 5 years and who was with her for 9 of those 10 years they knew each other, but now that Jordan and Ellie are together and Bethany losses her girlfriend, Deb, who was running for government spot and was shot dead. Well, some things don't add up to Bethany and don't add up to Jordan, who agrees (with Ellie's reluctant acceptance) to help her find any evidence outside the norm that could point to someone else's fingers also being on the trigger. Together, Ellie and Jordan try to find out truths and faults in their cases and work hard to find those responsible. With some romantic, touching moments in between.
Always a delight watching Ellie and Jordan's personal and professional life, but this one, in a way, was heartbreaking with the the assassination in question.
Also, I don't love Bethany, but it's impossible not to feel for her, she should get a break, especially with how things are starting to looking.
I cannot wait for what's to come because the plot is thickening and looking awful (bigger picture-wise)
I sole love this series I can't say too much about it because I said it in my other interviews I love the storyline the characters are good Ellie and Jordan are perfect together and there little baby girl I can't wait to read the next book
