(FIRST EDITION 1990) This classic book examines the idea of creation in a different light. In contrast to the notion that humans are the result of creation, it explores the idea that the collective humanoid consciousness (or soul) created our universe for specific purposes.
What are those purposes? Who is involved? These questions and many more are addressed, resulting in startling possibilities.
The Prism of Lyra then traces various developing off-planet races through their own evolution and ties them into the evolving Earth. Highlighted is the realization of our galactic interconnectedness and our shared desire to return home.
"[This] research on the stellar teachings ... is very accurate, complete, and meaningful ... [This] information about their essence is the truth." -- Barbara Hand Clow, author and teacher
"...Eloquently written ... It is an outer space survey showing the relationship of [extraterrestrial civilizations] to our beloved Earth. It offers a possible integration with our intergalactic relations for the betterment of our planet." --C.A. Jung, NEWLIFE Magazine
"This book is not only enlightening, it is exciting and stimulating ... The Prism of Lyra shows that our parents were smart, clever, and desperately alone, and they look for the being called 'Man' to show them the way back home." --Howard and Margot Reed, The Metaphysical Muse
"The Prism of Lyra is exceptionally unique, intellectually thought-provoking, and a most necessary road map toward understanding our purpose on this planet. There really is no other book that has this information pieced together in such a clear fashion." --Julie Rapkin, co-author of Awakening to the Animal Kingdom and Awakening to the Plant Kingdom
Part one being the original material that was dictated from a multidimensional consciousness known as Germane and channeled via Lyssa and published in 1989, albeit with some slight editorial changes.
Part two is a transcript from a workshop given by Lyssa channelling Germane in 1999.
One thing I have learnt with channelled work is that what is put on paper is still a blend of the channeller and the consciousness that is giving the information. My reason for saying this is that the information goes through the personal filters and perceptions of the channeller and this can be tainted by their paradigm of life. This is not necessarily a bad thing it is more something to be aware of. For it is within the letters and spaces that you find the meanings of what was being channelled. The sentences are constructs created from information received and overlaid with the paradigm of the receiver.
I found part one arduous to read due to the overlays of psychology. However underneath I could sense and feel the truth that was being "spoken". Whilst parts of the underlying message resonated with my inner core, I found the first part more like a dry textbook which is interesting for me as I tend read quite weighty books that are textbook like in nature.
On the other hand I thoroughly enjoyed part two. The information was more resonating to my inner core. It was presented in a more organic and flowing way. If it were not for this part being included in the book I would have sadly rated this book quite low. So for me, part two saved the book.
There is a number of resources that speak of Lyra among other planets and how they were involved in the "seeding" of earth. The information in this book does not necessarily correlate with other information I have come across or remember from previous incarnations, in some parts it actually paints a rather different scenario of the star beings in and around the cosmos. It's definitely a piece of the puzzle of why we are here on earth and how the human race came into being, however it's not the whole answer. I feel this book is a key for some and not for others.
If the book resonates with you by all means go ahead and read it. Your experience will most likely be different to mine, and the teachings, and learnings, and remembrance you receive will also be different. Whatever you get out of this book one thing for sure is that it will stretch your awareness to a new way of processing information.
Quite a cute description of our heritage: the various spiritual, angelic, alien entities that played a role in the genetic evolution of homo sapiens. If you've heard about various ET species such as Zeta Reticuli (Greys), Pleiadians, Arcturians, Syrians, Orions, Vegans, or some others, this could provide some of the mythos/history in a concise format.
Pretty far out theory in this book. Reminds me of Scientology which was off putting. The theory was a bit boring and hard to follow. I really loved the illustrations in this book tho! The only reason i will be keeping this book is for the illustrations. they were so imaginative, creative, and inspiring.
The only reason I gave it 4 stars out of 5 was that it was, sadly, too short. But it was very concise and easy to follow - especially considering the vast amount of information it contains. Will definitely read more from Lyssa Royal.
An extremely interesting book which delves deep into the galactic heritage and history of humankind, from origins to present times, drawing parallels with other existing humanoid civilisations in this universe, ranging, most notably, from the Lyrans to the Vegans and Sirians or the Pleiadians, the latter which are my long time favourites from a wide range of reasons.
All in all, a must read for any awakening starseed out there. Most of the information in this book is on par with my astro-esoteric studies, intuition, and knowledge and is a complementary work to the novels by channeler Barbara Marciniak which only go very deep into the shared connection between Pleiadians, their starseeds incarnated on Earth, and humanity as a whole.
Best book I have read yet on the origin of our species! A Starseed Guide 1&2 by Eva Marquez were also good. Into reading Eden by Anton Parks which promises to be good as well...
This was an amazing eye opener to seeing the stories of before as in the Bible stories in a different light based on tangible things. Connecting to the knowing that we on Earth are here to integrate and help our galactic family.
Every time I read into our Ancient History I find another door opens. The Vegan and Lyran creation via our Founders! It’s so much more than I ever expected. This book is a Jewel. Making it ever clearer that we have the God in us! Thank you.
The Prism of Lyra: An Exploration of Human Galactic Heritage is a speculative and metaphysical text that explores the origins of humanity through a galactic lens. The book is divided into two parts: Part I presents the original material channeled in 1989 by Lyssa Royal-Holt from a multidimensional consciousness named Germane, offering a framework for understanding the evolutionary journey of various off-planet races. Part II consists of a transcript from a 1999 workshop in which Royal-Holt, again channeling Germane, expands on those concepts in a more interactive format. This dual structure allows readers to access both the foundational ideas and their later elaboration through real-time dialogue.
Through chapters such as Dimensional Infusion, The Womb of Lyra, The Sirius Factor, Earth’s Pleiadian Cousins, and Zeta Reticuli: Transformation and Awakening, the book traces the origins and migrations of humanoid consciousness across the galaxy and its integration into Earth's development. It addresses themes of reincarnation, galactic interconnectedness, vibrational awareness, and the possibility that Earth’s history is part of a larger cosmic drama. The authors argue that evolution is guided by individual and collective awareness, and propose that ancient civilizations such as the Sumerians and Egyptians retained knowledge of these star connections.
Being channeled information—which is not necessarily a bad thing—this was my first encounter with the multidimensional consciousness known as Germane. Although the book briefly touches on some of the darker galactic elements, including a mention of predatory reptilians from Orion, the overall tone leaned heavily toward a “we are all one happy galactic family” narrative. It wasn’t until the Q&A section at the end that I began to question the Germane consciousness more critically. When asked about Nibiru, Germane responded, “Not much at this time,” and then gave a vague answer linking it to the Sirius system. For a consciousness that mapped out detailed galactic histories, this lack of depth on a key topic felt odd. Another response, regarding the presence of Pleiadians and Orions on Mars influencing Earth, was similarly evasive: “We’ve not really been allowed to talk about this… we can sense what serves you and what doesn’t.” These kinds of answers made me wonder whether there is an agenda behind the information being shared—one that emphasizes comfort over confrontation.
Despite those concerns, the book is a compelling read. At just 119 pages, it is a concise introduction to a vast subject, offering a cosmic overview that resonates with certain threads of esoteric and extraterrestrial research. It held my attention throughout and triggered a kind of inner remembrance. While it may not dive deeply into the more uncomfortable truths of galactic influence, it serves as a good starting point for readers new to the idea of Earth’s off-planet heritage.
A cursory internet search on Lyssa Royal shows she's still around, selling seminars, channeling sessions, framing herself as an educator and spiritual authority. I think it's reasonable to conclude that this brief book was not published as a guide on factual matters, but as part of a larger image-building project that ends with Royal with her hand slipping into your wallet. Ever notice now new age spiritualists are into just a little bit of everything? That's what PT Barnum called 'something for everyone.' Rest assured that Royal is not some kind of multi-talented spiritual expert, but constantly opening up new revenue streams for the 'needy.'
Saints usually pick a single cause. Grifters have a thousands skills, and a thousand types of enemies - new ones each time you speak to them.
But hey, that's religion for you, right? Everyone seeks answers and something to believe in, and the less scrupulous in the world find a way to profit off that vulnerability. I suppose that the thing that separates this book from any other spiritual text is that it was written within my lifetime, and I could go meet Royal in person (for a price). I understand that even my vocal skepticism is not a neutral thing - it can and might be spun as persecution. To outright call something untrue is an acknowledgment, for one thing, even if I say it's potentially harmful and predatory.
I grabbed this book at a used book store many years ago because I thought the cover was funny. When I was in junior high, I used to be a bit of a believer in alien abductions until I realized there was absolutely no explanation for stories where people, say, had a vivid story about how the aliens (all who sort of resemble Tolkien-esque elves, very Aryan, fascinatingly) foretold the coming apocalypse in 1982. Which was two years before I was born and 7 years before this 'masterpiece' was written.
Things get shelved in the 'nonfiction' section but that doesn't mean their contents aren't entirely made up.
The Prism of Lyra is well written, good structured and easy to follow. The information itself was amazingly interesting and compelling to me. It's just unbelievable. I'm not saying anything on this Review If I believe in it or not but really it's that compelling to me. Even If some of it wouldn't be true, I still would call this an awesome make-of-Science-Fiction-movie-book.
I'm sorry but since humans evolve (well, hopefully, most of them do) and I did since last time I read this, I have formed in my mind and through experiences new ideas about what "life" is about and what kind of "world" we live in... (Perception has changed.)
To be honest the best thing anyone can do is to QUESTION EVERYTHING, even yourself. I did and so in that respect, I lower my rating to 3 stars for this book.
In order to understand this book, it helps to be familiar with Lyssa Royal and her other works. This book resonated with me, though it seemed a little short ( less than 200 pages). I wanted very much to read more but it ended much too quickly.
TRANCE CHANNEL TEACHINGS PURPORTING TO COME FROM THE PLEIADES
Lyssa Royal describes herself as a seminar leader, channel, and author, who is the co-director (with her husband Ronald Holt) of the Seed of Life Institute, and the SOLi School. Keith Priest is an independent researcher, author, and complementary medical therapist (acupuncture and homeopathy).
They wrote in the Preface of this 1989 book, “We know that what one country or race does upon the Earth affects another. The idea may also spread outward into the universe. Perhaps what we do here affects countless other civilizations on other planets. Could we really be that linked together? The information presented in this book is a compilation of years of insights, deductive reasoning, and channeling. Meticulous cross referencing of various channels has been conducted (primarily using the work of co-author Lyssa Royal), as well as research into a number of respected anthropological and metaphysical works…
“There is no claim that this is the ultimate truth of our galactic family’s emergence into this realty. If it works for you, use the insights given here as a catalyst for your own growth… If nothing else, let this book be fun to read, interesting, and stimulating to your imagination… This is an introductory book… Each chapter represents a different facet of an intricate tapestry and how the tapestry affects Earth… There are certain assumptions carried throughout the material that are a foundation… One of these is the idea of reincarnation and the infinite nature of consciousness. It is not necessary to embrace this concept in order to grasp the material, but it will allow the reader a more expanded view of the gibber picture… “Throughout the entire book the assumption will also be carried that the ‘Whole,’ or the integrated mass consciousness of our galactic family, has always existed.”
They note, “The most obvious question is this: If the extraterrestrials are out there, why don’t they show themselves? An answer can be found in humanity’s approach to anthropological studies upon Earth. Scientists do not go marching right in to a ‘primitive’ culture waving their cameras And equipment. These types of cultural assimilations sometimes take them decades to accomplish… to a race that has achieved space travel and perhaps even global unity, humanity may seem primitive indeed. Perhaps they are waiting… allowing only a few humans to see them until the signal goes out to the whole of society that they are not a threat.” (Pg. 16-17)
They assert, “Everyone is here by choice. The instant that one begins operating from a belief that humanity is here against its will is the instant that personal and planetary power has been surrendered.” (Pg. 46)
They state, “A Swiss named Billy Meier has documented hundreds of hours of communication with the Pleiadian cosmonaut Samjase. He also possessed a large number of photographs of the Pleiadians’ spacecrafts which, using photographic technology, have never been proven to be false. He claims to have been taken both backward and forward in time by the Pleiadians …. To view various events. This contact has caused major controversy since it was revealed. Meier has been provided with evidence (by the Pleiadians themselves) such as a metal sample which was analyzed on film by a noted IBM scientist… The metal sample subsequently disappeared, but the film analysis remains. Within the UFO research community this case is a classic example of throwing the baby out with the bathwater. Because it is ‘too easy,’ it is considered to be fraudulent. When Meier attempted to construct models of Pleiadian spacecrafts to see if the photographs could be faked, the models were found, and the whole case was labeled a hoax. The teachings of the 1970s from Semjase and her associates are now beginning to be more widely known.” (Pg. 54-55)
They assert, “Not one of us is ‘from’ another place. We are from the Source, and the Source is vast. To say we are ‘from’ the Pleiades is a denial of all the other ideas that we are… If individuals insist on stating they are ‘from’ somewhere, the suggestion is offered that they proclaim their alliance with Earth. They have chosen a life HERE. In a very real sense, Earth people can be seen as models for integration. We are divine and terrestrial; of gods and men. We are proof positive that human life can adapt to seemingly insurmountable circumstances. Let us celebrate HUMANITY!” (Pg. 88)
Those who like ‘channeled’ teachings may enjoy this book.
I loved reading this book. Once I started, it was hard to stop. It requires a steady pace to wrap your head around what is being communicated, that being said, the insights put forward are well written. Throughly enjoyed and excited/intrigued to read further books by the authors.
