That Bad, Bad Cat!

Rate this book
What a bad, bat cat! He tears the pillows, he eats the plants, and he even scratches the furniture. He just won't behave! But his family loves him anyway. The simple and repetitive text will provide new readers with a true sense of accomplishment when they finish this book all by themselves. The adorable and quirky illustrations bring this frisky, troublemaking feline to life.

Masurel, C. (2002). That Bad, Bad Cat!. New York: Grosset & Dunlap.
The cat goes about his day being mischievous. His family constantly corrects him and tells him, “Bad, bad cat!”. No matter what he does his family loves him. The author brings out the importance of loving one another for who they are, even when mishaps occur. What nice illustrations and corresponding text.

This is perfect for a Kindergarten reader. My daughter knew most of the words, but learned a couple new ones, too. And she liked the story.

Hazel can read most of the words in this book, which both of us love.
