A level 1 reader. Optimus Prime can not only change from a robot into a truck, but also into a dinosaur. When in dino mode, Optimus Primal takes Cody for a ride and they get chased by a hunter.

An easy read for Rescue Bot fans.

My 5 year old is starting to learn to read and likes the Transformers on TV. This was a great book for a starting reader and he enjoyed looking for the special words throughout the book.

My Review: We have been reading a few of these Transformer books, this one followed one of the shows pretty closely. What I love about these books is that at the beginning it gives the reader 4 words to look for in the book, not sight words but easy words to sound out but that may be new to them. Even though Munchkin isn't quite reading on his own yet, he still feels very involved and excited when he can find those words in the book as we read it together. Of course it helps that the story is about a transformer that turns into a T Rex!
