This book gaslighted me into thinking that things that were found out or done previously in the book truly weren't.
But I prevailed through the gaslighting.
For example: Gage (the MMC) finds out that the villain of the story is probably a serial killer and 2 of his previous girlfriends were found dead. When the big showdown in the story hits he is told about the ex-girlfriends of the villain like it's news.
And in the beginning of the book the MMC punishes the FMC for something and without any talk about consent or no-no stuff HE INSERTS HIMSELF.
INSERTS HIMSELF WHERE???
In her peach. He uses his fingers but still, wtf.
They knew each other either 10 or 4 years ago (hard to tell with the plot inconsistencies) and had a non-sexual!!! dd/LG relationship. And then in the end he suddenly said he had never really delved into peach play. Aha.
The whole second chance plot with "we were both being mislead and drugged and that is why we split up" just came down to them not trusting in each other.

For being part of Sabre Security the men are really bad at securing anything.
Gage couldn't hit a target that was less than 2 meters across from him, but he himself was shot by the opponent. He didn't think to put a tracker on the FMC.
And noone thought of filming any altercation they had with the villain. Like, what were the girls doing when the 2 corrupt police officers were handling the two men? Just watching with open mouths. Any of them could have filmed the incidence, called the police or the security firm or done anything.
Also, what happened to the FMC's father and mother and what happened to the 2 police men.

And if I have to read about a human male main-character that failed to protect the FMC multiple times or hurt her in any way that has a BeAsT iNSidE of him again I will DNF.
How embarrassing to have an unstoppable beast inside of you and then being stopped. Meeep.
And how embarrassing that his bros knew about the beast. Ahahaha.
In the end he got shot in the leg and fainted, because he couldn't hit a target that was directly in front of him and not moving. Blablabla I need witnesses, I can't go in. That's the same guy that was talking about his unstoppable BEaST that he had to push down.

A warrior Daddy. A precious Little.
Highschool sweethearts torn apart by deception. Each believing the other betrayed them. Now it’s ten years later and fate has brought them together again. Breezy is on the run from a psychotic stalker and Gage is just the man to protect her. But, can they make up for lost time when the truth comes out and can Gage keep Breezy safe while they figure out their chance at forever?

I loved this couple. Breezy is adorable and much stronger and smarter than she gives herself credit for. Gage is stern and protective as well as loving and indulgent. He’s everything Breezy needs. I adored watching this couple reconnect and fall back in love . . . not that they ever really fell out of it.

The suspense and action was crazy good. Breezy’s ex is a real psycho and so good at playing games . . . . he's pretty terrifying. And, her father is such a jerk as well. It’s no wonder she has trust issues.

The Littles when together are adorable. The Daddies are adorably overbearing, all alpha and over protective. But considering the trouble all of these women have encountered, it’s no wonder! (Yes, this is a standalone, but you have to read them all!) Gage was a fantastic addition to the daddies of Sabre Security. 5 stars!

Gage and Breezy meant something special o one another fom early childhood. They were inseparable through high school but well placed lies and manipulations pulled them apart. Fast forward ten years, she's back in Darling and trying to stay under the radar working at a sleezy motel. Gage tries to feign indifference which turns to ire when he finds her disregarding her safety. One firemen's carry later she's ensconced in his home and working at Defenses. An open, forthright, honest conversation between them is imperative but Gage and his Sabre teammates are busy handling minor incidents that keep occurring on which they place the blame squarely on The Society. But, Breezy is withholding a big secret that could have them rethinking their strategy. Once the air is cleared both of them realize they still love each other deeply. Now it's a matter of keeping her protected from the danger lurking.

Gage is the third book of the Sabre Security Daddies series of interconnected standalones. I absolutely adored Gage and Breezy! This one is a little darker than the first two books and the suspense and action had me on the edge of my seat. Breezy and Gage were in a relationship in high school but after something happens Gage enlists in the military and Breezy goes off to college. Ten years later Gage is now working for Sabre Security with his long time friends. Breezy comes back to town after some things happen and Gage isn’t too happy to have her back. I won’t say anything else so I don’t give any spoilers. This book has angst, betrayal, heartache, friendships, found family, spice and more! If you enjoy books that are dark (but not too dark), second chances, sweet cinnamon roll alpha males, and a sweet and funny fmc then this book is for you!

Gage and Breezy had been high school sweethearts and broke up in a bad way (we don't know all the details at first). Gage is Sabre Security and Breezy is the daughter of The General, member of the shadowy group The Society. Gage may have felt animosity about Breezy at first, but his OTT protectiveness kicks in. He also knows she hiding something and lying and he's going to get to the bottom of things. I loved how Gage came in and took over, showing Breezy he could be the Daddy she needed. And as soon as she trusted him and gave him her troubles he took over and was all in. I also think the author did a great job showing how hard it is to do something about a stalker until it's too late and people get hurt, and sometimes even then authorities don't do enough. I definitely want to know more about this Society and how it's going to be resolved. Great HEA with this couple.

I really thought i liked this series, because the first book i really enjoyed.

However, i am not enjoying the subplot that continues through the books, «the society» is not well described in this one, you are just supposed to remember everything from the previous books, the plot is not going anywhere and they are no closer to any resolution after this book than at the 3nd of the last one, and it doesn’t add anything to THIS book.

I think if this should be a subplot throughout the series, it should take up more space in the story in a way that is relevant to the different books, and adds to the story.

Here it just gets annoying how the society is referenced, but it never goes anywhere and they don’t learn anything new to help with their case.

I was going to give it 3 stars, but i gave the previous book in the series 3, and i liked that more.

Another great story!

I think each Little we come to know has increased in the level of Traumas they survived. Breezy had a childhood, without love, or any nurturing influence, except when as a child she is befriended by Gauge. Protecting her from bullies, and braiding her flaming red hair, to keep the girls from making fun of her. Even writing his name on her comfort stuffy, to keep them from making fun of her Flamingo emotional support toy. Her Tyrant of a Father, has already broken her Mother, who hide behind Rum, and Medication. Trying to force her to be like him, has her run, just like her older sister did. The lies, and manipulation that is uncovered, that her Father sets in motion, broke them apart 10 years ago. Now it's time to heal wounds, and broken hearts , so they can be together, as they were meant to be. Wonderful HEA ending! Trish. A

Wow! This had my heart just about beating out of my chest

Poor Breezy when she came back to town she was in a horrible stare. A nasty motel that was a place for drug deals or one night stands was the only place that have her room and board for cleaning the rooms. She was hiding out from a crazy stocker and didn't want her friends to get hurt from him. She and Gage were a couple when they were younger but they were unfortunately set up by the General her father and the ten years after that were miserable for both of them. Have finds her at the hotel and takes over once again, but will be be able to save her from this crazy person. Let me tell you this one will have you one the edge of you seat at times.

This is the 3rd in the Sabre Security Daddies series but can easily be read as an alone story. Though it is slightly darker than the other 2 in the series it is still so enjoyable and a great read. Breezy and Gage had one of those; he did, she did, moments when they were in highschool, that left them both scarred about the other. Now Breezy is back in her home town.
Can Gage forgive and accept her before its to late for Breezy? Can Breezy let Gage in enough for him to protect her?
This dd/lg book has drama, angst, found family and outside danger. Gage is a great hero and Breezy a strong female character. The odd bits of humour were a nice touch too. A lovely HEA book

My Sunshine!

My heart is so full of love for Breezy and Gage! This story broke my heart and put it back together. One of my favorite stories to read is about second chances, and this certainly fit the bill! Gage and Breezy have known each other for a long time but broke up many years prior. Both wrong in how they believed it ended. So when Breezy comes back to town, Gage is determined to get her back in his life. When outside forces threaten Breezy, Gage will do anything in his power to keep her safe. I enjoyed their witty banter and their chemistry is sizzling hot! I loved this story and enjoy this series so much!!

Sassy TootToot

I've lived all of this series but I think this was my fave so far. Gage has always loved his Beretta. They may have lost 10 years due to a misunderstanding, but they figure it out. Now not only does Warrior Daddy have his Sunshine but that is also his Beretta (Breezy). You would think that The Society would have had stopped messing with Sabre but how won't we were. Now they have a psycho cop in with them along with the Attorney General of District 33. This book has a lot of action, sexy times, adventurous littles & overprotective Daddies!!! Please read this series it is totally worth it!!!

Warrior Daddy

Strict, dominant, tall, muscles on muscles, and handsome. Plus a scary attitude. Sounds like a man in a movie. But Gage was so much more. He was also caring and devoted. And he got his feelings hurt as a teenager that was orchestrated by Breed he's dad, the asshole.
But why do the make the women dumb! There were a couple of times you want to reach through the pages and SMACK her up side her head.
You'll have have to read it yourself to get to the good stuff.
Great story. Great characters. Awesome Cami Carlisle! I want to read the next one now... But I have a headache starting so I'm going to bed. Crap! It's 4:05 am. Good night y'all.

This is the third book in this series and I think Gage is my favorite so far. Gage and Breezy were an item in high school until something happens that breaks them up. Breezy leaves for college and Gage goes into the military. Fast forward to the future and Gage now works for Sabre Security. When Breezy comes back home, Gage doesn't like it at first but when details come out, things change! Will these two work out their differences? I loved how Gage takes over when Breezy is in danger and how he takes care of her. It was a wonderful story!!

Book 3

Read Hutch and Reid and loved them so was counting down the days for this one to release and it didn’t disappoint I loved it as much as the other 2 was great to see the characters from the 1st two books as well as get to see Gage and Breezy get their second chance and get their happy ending even though it took 10 years to happen

I loved this so so much a rough second chance for Breezy and Gage! So many years apart and why? Finally seeing each other again and very intense danger for Breezy Gage will do everything for her safety he was like a big sweet growly bear I loved him so much.

This one had some darkness to it which made the story, lots of steam and moments of cheering for me and sighs. I truly loved it so much.

You are my Sunshine

I just adore Cami Carlisle and the sweet and steamy, action-packed, love stories she writes for us
Gage has got to be one of the best Second Chance romance books I have ever read.
A father's deception, a stalker ex, mystery and suspense, and a Little who has found her perfect Daddy, again.
Cami has me hooked, and I am looking forward to reading more.

The past can be fixed

Gage and Breezy were so full of love that other people destroyed their chance, but now they have a second chance but a psycho stands in their way.
Breezy was different then the other Littles which I learned by reading this book is normal . I so am enjoying reading Daddies and Littles stories. They are so full of fun and laughter. Must read.

More like 3.75

So darn close to a 4* read. Breezy & Gage are lovely together. I enjoyed how they overcame their breakup and moved forward. What drops the rating down is how slow the issue with "The Society" is or isn't moving. What happened with her dad after the hospital? Her mom after the fire?

Glad to see Deke is the next book!

CW: Kidnapping, shooting, Domestic Discipline, stalking, corrupt cops, death, drugging, parental neglect, alcoholism mild AgePlay

This is the third story in the Sabre Security series. It is a second chance romance. The main characters are kept apart by the FMC father. It is Grumpy/Sunshine. The spice level is high.

The story that keeps giving all of the best. Gage and Breezy have their own story but the continuation of the series is still flawless. This is why I keep coming back for more. I can't wait for more.

Breezy and Gage

Wow love their story. I’m glad they finally got together and didn’t let her dad “ the General” keep them apart. I hope her mom is ok and her dad gets what’s coming for him. Keep them coming

Wonderful Story!

Gage and Bretta are something else. She sure does love being mischievous and doing things to get herself spanked by her Daddy. This story was a fun read of Littles and the men who loved them and protected them.
