Changing His Game is a stand-alone novel. This book is for mature readers ages 18 and up. It contains sex, sex, and more sex with a porn star. It briefly touches on M/F/M and M/F/F. Adult Films. XXX Movies. Porn. These are the kind of movies I've never planned to watch. It was a taboo topic where I grew up. As a kid I had only heard of it in passing. In middle school my parents would talk about my creepy uncle Frank and how he should look for a job instead of watching "those movies" all day. In High School boys thought it was funny to ask my friends and me to star in the amateur adult films they were making. In college most of my guy friends watched them, but I never had. When I moved to California that changed. After surprising my fiancé at home and catching him screwing another woman, I hopped in my car and started driving. I was running away from my old life and I needed a change. I remembered my friend Tawny inviting me to visit her in Los Angeles, so that's where I went. I didn’t find Tawny when I got there, but I did find her gorgeous roommate, Jared. Our friendship started out rough, but he gave me a place to stay and helped me get back on my feet. He became my best friend. My best friend who millions of women happened to lust over. Jared plays by a different set of rules, where anything goes. His lifestyle is unlike anything I’ve ever witnessed before and it scares me. When you live your life on the edge, eventually you'll fall over. I didn't want to see that happen to him. At night he’s just Jared, my Jared, and I’ll deny it to anyone who asks, but I’m completely in love with him. During the day he’s Brandon Boner, and the world is in love with him. Oh yeah, did I mention he’s a porn star?

Changing His Game was a sweet, playful, and sexy read that bordered heavily on the trite and ridiculous. Still, it had just enough angst combined with charm to keep me interested. Plus, the sex scenes were hot, steamy, and fun to read.
That said, the prose felt slightly underdeveloped and the plot lacked emotional depth, and maturity. While I can't justify giving this book a higher rating, I still had a great time reading it.
Note: There were two ménage scenes (one f/m/f and the other m/f/m) that were related to the hero's profession (Porn Star) but they were not explicit, for which I was grateful.

TWO AND A HALF MAYBE THREE STARS.
As soon as I saw the cover and blurb for this book, I wanted to jump right in and start it. I was expecting boiling hot, naughty action combined with a delicious storyline that would hopefully be an enjoyable escape and in some ways it did deliver, but sadly it didn't quite rock my book world. Here are my 'Changing his game' book thoughts ...
What's it all about?
Autumn Adams has just walked in on her long term boyfriend having sex with a blonde haired girl that she remembers from their school days. Partly embarrassed and somewhat heartbroken she moves to Los Angeles in the hope to find friendship and comfort with her oldest friend, Tawny. When she arrives in the larger than life city, instead of running into the arms of her best friend she finds herself face to face with Tawny's walking, taking, tattooed, completely gorgeous roommate, Jared. Unable to turn back and go home to face the difficulties a friendship is started between Jared and Autumn which quickly turns into something more. But what she didn't realise is that this friend is one of the most popular and successful porn stars in the industry. So when friendship gives way to lust and longing can this couple really move past their issues to find a way towards love?
What did I like?
'Changing his game' was as addictive as it is enjoyable. The story had a somewhat original feel to it and for the most part I got lost in the tale of unexpected love. The sexual tension played a winning role and I enjoyed the attraction between Autumn and Jared. There were parts in the book that made me really sit up and take notice and some of the more romantic scenes between the couple were heart meltingly sweet. Overall it was a story that was assuredly entertaining' playful and likeable but by no means was it epic, so for me it had that two star, maybe three for some parts feel to it.
Why not five ...
This author obviously had a lot of fun creating the characters and the scenarios they found themselves in, that much was really evident. But this book sadly didn't work out for me as i'd hoped. The back and forth arguments between Jared and Autumn became tiresome and repetitive, the continual loop of; jump into bed, argue, fall out, make up, rinse and repeat completely took out most of the enjoyment factor. I needed a better understanding and development of a friendship before the characters jumped into an I-can't-help-myself-around-you type lust. This would have made their connection and continuing relationship more believable. My biggest issue with the book was it's confusing message, it wasn't an out and out romance story and it wasn't an erotic tale with the original shocking factor to give it an edge. what it appeared to be was a story about unexpected love that ended up having more of a 'what have I just read?' feel to it. Overall the book had a strangely like-ability factor to it, I never once felt like stop reading the book and the characters antics and interactions kept me interested enough to finish it.
Final thoughts ...
I'm convinced that I would give this author another try with future releases. Her writing style kept me interested right up until the end, it just so happens that this time around the content didn't really work for me. But if you like your books to have plenty of drama, porn stars and a hero with tattoos and a particularly special piercing then why not give it a go? Enjoy ... Kisses.

4 ~ Porn Stars Need Love too ~ stars
This really is a fun book to review, because your either gonna love or hate it. You can review it and judge it for what you know your beliefs to be, your version of right or wrong OR you can review it with the attitude of everyone deserves love, no matter who you are. I made my choice, after all Porn stars need love too.
Autumn
Autumn gets the surprise of a lifetime when she walks in on her fiancé banging away with a mutual friend, she doesn’t stop to listen to his bullshit and decides to drive and get away. She’s done with school; she has nothing else holding her back in this home town, so she sets off to LA, where her friend lives in hopes of finding a bigger better life. What she doesn’t expect is her friend to not be in town and be welcomed into a mansion of a home that belongs to Jared, the sexiest man she has ever set her eyes on.
Jared a.k.a. Brandon Boner
Jared has been in the business for years now, making a name for himself in the Adult industry, but it seems as though his new house guest has no clue what she has gotten herself into. The realness and innocence of Autumn draws him in, it’s been way to long since he has been around anyone that is outside the business and begins to remember what it’s like to be normal. He wants to keep her around, choosing to ignore the reason behind his actions, he offers her a job as his personal assistant and as the time passes she becomes his best friend.
With their limits drawn, they continue on with their friendship, keeping business separate from their time together. Autumn has been noticing changes in Jared, some she is not all too thrilled about; he is keeping something from her and she can’t help but having her imagination come up with the worst case. No one seems to see Jared the way she does, they all want something from him, and to see him relax and be him is worth the heart ache. She doesn’t know why but she found a place in his bed, like an unspoken wish of keeping each other close; and although they are not having sex, waking up in his arms seems to be more intimate...
Nothing lasts forever and when their perfect little world is shook up, their friendship and bond is tested, making them consider if it is all worth it...
Changing His Ways was a fun steamy read, Autumn and Jared were two completely different people when they met but somewhere along the way they remembered who they were before all the drama and found they had more in common. Sometimes it takes the right person to make you want to change your ways and that is who Autumn was for Jared. This book reminded me that your choices don’t make or define you; Jared is still a real person underneath and it doesn’t make him incapable of love or anything else just because of his career choice. Jared was completely loveable; a perfect blend of sexy and sweet and Autumn she was strong and compassionate, she never judged, never demanded or asked him to change, but accepted him for who he was. This was no insta kinda story, building the trust and friendship was their strongest foundation and without it would have never have worked. I have to say though there were a few corny lines but I still ended up enjoying their story.

4 Porn Slappin’ Stars
This is my second book by Justine Elvira and I have to say, Changing his Game was enterainting and funny. What is it about porn stars I love so much, I dunno, but I.Just.Do.
Let me be honest… I love reading “steam” … the less PC word would be sex, fucking, dirty scenes, what have you. So when I get an entertaining book with lots of action, well this girl (me) has a happy face on.
Jared is a Porn star, he’s gorgeous, famous and has money. Autumn found out her boyfriend cheated on her and runs away to California to visit her friend Tawny who happens to live in Jared’s house. Autumn shows up, but Tawny isn’t there, she’s in France! Here’s the thing, Autumn doesn’t know Jared is in the porn business, but fast friendship forms regardless.
It’s a fairly short, adorable read with lots of action. I was in the mood to read something light and this did the trick. I do believe the “relationship” formed fairly quickly, but there were so many funny moment, I was just like I said, overall entertained.
Jared’s character is kind of a prick and at one moment I was kind of pissed at him, but I was never in the situation where I wanted to throw my tablet across the room. I kept on picturing a hot tatted male in my head and what’s not to love about that? When he told Autumn he has fucked 2-3 thousand girls, well that was a little hard to stomach, but he is a porn star, so you take the story for what it is.
Autumn is your typical sweet, but not too naïve girl. I would have liked some damsel in distress moments because I’m a sucker for those, but she basically was there to live a different life. What I liked a lot is that mostly this story was about just Autumn and Jared. There weren’t really fillers and extra characters which can be distracting to me at times.
Justine wrote a very entertaining story, which I enjoyed thoroughly.

Ok so I saw this book that a friend reviewed. I was warned and told how to return this book. I was going to I really was but I thought let me open it first and make sure that's what I want to do. Well I started reading and read up to 66%. I do admit a lot of that was skimming.
I could tolerate Jared being a porn star. I've read things with man-whores, gig-aloes, and strippers before so this wasn't a deal breaker for me. What was was the menages which I skimmed and skipped because that was the main reason I knew I wouldn't like this book.I didn't feel that I could rate the book on that. Where I was completely done was when Tawny came home and offered to be with Jared in front of Autumn. Then she proceeded to tell her she had slept with him 11 times already. Eeeewww.....ugghgh. With friends like that who needs enemies to steal their boyfriends?
Not only that Jared was a complete asshole most of the time. One minute he would be sweet and romantic with Autumn and the next being rude and mean. I didn't like him at all and when the guy isn't likable in my opinion the book is a lost cause.
I know a lot of people will like this book and think I'm a prude but I'm really not. I knew going into it once I read that review that it probably wasn't for me but I already had it on my Kindle and I figured why not skim and look to see if it's interesting. I didn't buy this book knowing what was in it. Sue me I don't pay a lot of attention when my clicky finger starts twitching. Once I started reading it made me so mad I just had to review what I had read. I can deal with sex when love is involved but these people were nasty with a capital N. Oh and I forgot to mention that Jared has slept with 2000-3000 people with no condoms and every time he and Autumn were together she had to make him wear one. Even over his arguments that he was clean and didn't want to wear one. Made me a little nauseous to be honest.Not only that Autumn caught her ex fiance cheating on her. So why then would she go after another man-whore? Doesn't make sense to me. So this cover got me and it was my own fault. I am definitely one to blame. I will admit that I am a complete cover whore and I got exactly what I deserved. The fact remains I really didn't like this book! If you want ridiculous characters, sex,orgies,and basically whores,sluts, and more whores then this is the book for you!

So I've had this one on my kindle for FOREVER because I thought it was a baseball romance based on the cover/title and every time, I flipped past it, thinking, WTF, SELF, YOU HATE BASEBALL. But I ran out of things to read last night and I was like WAAAAAAIT didn't I buy a book with a pron star in it?
THIS IS THE BOOK WITH THE PRON STAR HERO.
I'm pretty sure he was modeled off of James Deen. RP fanfic, yo! Roll with it! Anyhow, this book starts off with the heroine ditching her fiance and relationship of 8 years or so. She runs off to Los Angeles to discover herself and instead discovers a porn star! AS YOU DO. The hero was delish in this book, though. He was nice and sweet and hung and pierced and adorably confused when he started to have FEELS for the heroine and it interfered with his career.
Good stuff. Read it in one sitting cuz I didn't want to put it down. :)

First off I want to say Thank You to Justine Elvira (the author) for giving me the opportunity to read an ARC of this book. I loved Lawful Overdose by Justine and was so excited to read this book as well. She did not disappoint!!! I will admit I was drawn to this book because of the Cover..I mean who can resist a HOT TATTOOED man in a towel ;) Once I read the synopsis of this book I was drawn in even more. I mean really…who can write a love story where the main male character is a Porn Star….Well Justine for sure can. I honestly thought this book was going to be about a lot of sex and I was also curious how she would write this story without the cheating aspect. Well let me tell you she did it….this book had just enough sex to make it steamy and she created a story with a porn star with absolutely NO CHEATING!!!! This book was exactly what I was looking for….I had been wanting to read a book that was steamy and fun, but without all the drama and angst that we see in most of the books these days. This book was definitely steamy and fun, but still had a little drama to keep the story interesting. I loved the story that Justine created between Jared and Autumn. We saw them grow together and individually. I really enjoyed watching their friendship grow and move into something more. And let me tell you, this book had a great epilogue!!!!! I loved how it closed this story but also opened up some more characters to a possible new book ;)
Like I said before….JARED is a dream!!!! Who can resist a man with tattoos and a piercing ;) I have to admit I didn't like Jared in the beginning….I thought he was mean and just not very swoon worthy, but let me tell you…that changed quickly. Once he started to open up to Autumn he turned into someone who will be on my BBF list for a long time. We do find out why Jared is in the Adult Film Industry….it broke my heart. He truly was a broken man. But with the help of Autumn he began to heal :) Autumn was a great character also. We first meet her when she is leaving Michigan because she catches her Fiance' screwing someone else. She is going to visit her friend Tawny in California and that's where she meets Jared. Her first introduction to Jared is an interesting one….( You'll have to read the book to see what I mean ). One thing I really loved about Autumn and her character was that she saw people for who they were on the inside. She knew in her mind that what Jared did for a living should turn her off, but once she got to know the man underneath, she realized that he was just a sweet lovable man. I loved that she could see past his job and open herself up to the man he really is. Now like I said there wasn't a lot of drama in this book, but what there is, is caused by these two. They really needed to learn how to communicate a little better.
As for secondary characters…there really aren't any that stand out. They all served their purpose to the story, but this book really focused around Autumn and Jared.
I would definitely recommend this book to anyone looking for a love story with great steam (that's not to raunchy), lovable characters, and is a fun quick read. This book will have you interested from the first page all the way to the last page. This was one of those books I didn't want to see end, because I loved the characters and story so much. First off I want to say Thank You to Justine Elvira (the author) for giving me the opportunity to read an ARC of this book. I loved Lawful Overdose by Justine and was so excited to read this book as well. She did not disappoint!!! I will admit I was drawn to this book because of the Cover..I mean who can resist a HOT TATTOOED man in a towel ;) Once I read the synopsis of this book I was drawn in even more. I mean really…who can write a love story where the main male character is a Porn Star….Well Justine for sure can. I honestly thought this book was going to be about a lot of sex and I was also curious how she would write this story without the cheating aspect. Well let me tell you she did it….this book had just enough sex to make it steamy and she created a story with a porn star with absolutely NO CHEATING!!!! This book was funny...
Autumn and Jared was so cute together.
Definitely a book to read if you in the mood for some light/easy reading.

I liked the book well enough, but I didn't think it was as amazing as I thought it was going to be. I liked the premise that he is a porn star, but the story was just ok. I did give it 4 stars and thought the sex scenes were pretty good, but I thought the end kind of fizzled a little bit.

Super sexy steamy read about a tatted hot pierced (yup......it's pierced for her pleasure) porn star who ends up being a very big hearted guy. This is a quirky fun read & I will definitely be rereading this book. I have found a new author to follow!! Great read so go one click already!!

HOLY SHITBALLS!!!!!! If you've read Justine's books you know her writing is one you fall in love with right? Well get ready to start kissing her feet because this book is Sha-mazing! Its HOT with a capital H.O.T.
The books kicks out with our main girl Autumn running from were she lives all because of her ass fiance. Well ex now. After she found him having sex with someone you can bet your ass he's been kicked to the kerb!
So off she sets to see her best friend Twany who moved to Cali two years ago. She has her address and she did say she should visit. And nothing screams 'visit' like catching your bloke balls deep in someone LOL. She needs her friend and just needs to get away.
But when she gets to the address she is blown away. It is one big ass house. Now unless her friend got a job acting with Brad Pitt there's no way she could afford this alone. Also there's a big ass party happening. And a girl answers the door is 3 sheets to the wind. Kellie knows Tawny though,she;s not there but lets Autumn in to crash. On the way to Twanys room that's were she see's him. The most fabulous looking man she has ever seen,wet panties from just seen him good looking. The look the give each other in so intense that she can't look away. She is trapped in his eyes. That god something gets his attention and breaks there contact,off she runs and hides in Tawnys room.
The next day she comes face to face with the sex god himself. Twany is living with him but is in Italy with her boyfriend. Which she totally never told Autumn! Jared needs to get off to work though,and just as he's about to leave he offers Autumn a days work. The girl he's to work with is sick or something like that. Of course with her friend Twany working with him acting she jumps at the chance. What she gets though in no where near what she expected. Jared wanted her to work on a Porno! This book was everything I wanted and more! For once, there were was nothing extremely dark in it. Both Jared and Autumn had great families. Both characters had a past, and had things happen, but there was nothing that was extremely traumatizing from their childhood. Oh, and this definitely has a HEA.
My previous two reads were rushed stories that left me wondering if pages had stuck together on my kindle and I missed something, but this one, there was no rushing involved.
Jared (aka Brandon) and Autumn (aka Billy) are definitely some of my favorite characters. You could see the instant attraction between them. But both of them tried to deny it and Jared could definitely be a jerk at times. Even with their attraction, they formed a great friendship first. They didn't deny their feelings, but both were scared to fully commit to a relationship.
I've read a couple other books where the guy was a porn star and I have to say that this one was the best. One was a guy that didn't know what he was getting into and only there for the money. Another one was there for the money to take care of his sick sister. But Jared knew what he was doing and actually enjoyed his job. And he did it well. I was happy to see that he didn't just "fall into it" for the money because he was in a desperate situation.
And I found the whole issue of Autumn's reasons for not wanting to be with him believable. I would have the same concerns. And those concerns turned out to be valid. And I liked the way that was handled. Instead of existing in a book world where there’s never any danger of it, Justine Elvira played that card and had them face the danger of it.
There were a few scenes where I thought Autumn was being stupid. And by stupid I mean dense. I saw it before she did. And actually, she didn’t see it, someone had to spell it out for her. Because even though Jared was all talk of never changing because a woman wanted him to, he did change for Autumn. Granted, she didn’t ask, but she was under the assumption that she was nothing but a bed buddy and friend to him, but if she had been paying attention, she would have seen that she was way off base.
But those were just minor incidents, nothing to really tick me off. I loved every moment of this. It had me laughing and completely hooked. I couldn’t put it down. This will definitely be a reread for me in the future. And I seriously wouldn't mind having my own Jared. :)

On a surprise trip home from college Autumn walks in on her boyfriend of 8 years cheating on her. Without even a chance to let him explain she is out the door, in her car and driving away. At first I thought I would have a hard time with Jared due to the shear volume of sexual partners he has had and the fact that he continued to be “active” in his profession even after meeting Autumn, but he really grew on me (pun intended). He doesn’t come from a broken home, he isnt broody or angsty. Brandon is a good guy with great parents and supportive siblings who just happens to have sex on camera. He is sweet and caring and lots of fun.
I loved the friendship between Brandon and Autmun. There was playfulness and flirting as well as some great tender moments. The sex, well this is a book about a porn star after all so the sex was pretty hot.
This was the first book I have read by author Justine Elvira and I think she did a great job at making me like these characters even with their not so traditional occupation. Changing His Game was a really cute, fun lite read. You just can’t go wrong with Brandon Boner.

First of all, I don't think I have ever read a book as fast as I read this! I started it this evening and finished a few minutes ago. I literally could not put it down! Like, walking around the house reading while cooking dinner and eating and whatever other things I did that I don't remember because my focus was on this book! I freaking LOVED it! I had some serious reservations at first because he's a porn star and that generally isn't a turn on for me. But man oh man, I love me some Jared Reynolds! This book was so freaking hot, funny, romantic (if you can believe that!), and best of all DRAMA FREE! Yes, there are the ups and downs Jared and Autumn go through that are normal for the beginning of any relationship, especially one involving a popular porn star. But there were no deep seated issues that come up from the past, no drama for the sake of drama. It was very refreshing. One thing I must mention that has made my respect for this author go through the roof, this is the absolute FIRST time I have EVER read an erotic book where STD's are addressed in any fashion, let alone the possibility of the main characters having one. I think its very admirable of her to have that in this book. It makes it so much more realistic and it made me love it even more. Plus, so often I read books that make no mention of protection, be it birth control or condoms, and the fact that that played a major role in this book was also something that made me give Justine Elvira mad props. So we have a great story, interesting (to say the least ;)) characters, real life issues that were done in an honest and well thought out way, and a love match that is so romantic and hot and steamy that for the first time ever I found myself wanting my very own porn star! ;) Well done Ms. Elvira! I have just added you to my go-to author list!

I loved the cover and the storyline, the beginning of the book was strong i got hooked, but it just became too cheesy. Jared and Autumn became friends too quickly, one moments he acts like an ass and in the next they are best friends and can't go one without one another. Every single think was predictable. From the make up job he gave her, to Tawny coming back from France till the end.
And the falling in love and happily ever after even I didn't believe it.
But the idea of the porn star Brandon Boner and Billy was pretty cool. Although it would be pretty awkward in family dinners, because part of your family is getting off watching your boyfriend's sex videos ;d;d

You know, I was intrigued by the blurb for this book and I'm happy to say that I really enjoyed reading it. It was a new concept for me to read, the whole porn star bit, and it was refreshing to pull away from the norm. I loved the characters flaws and all. Now even though I had a few technical issues, it was still a really great read. :)

Autumn is your average girl next door. She pretty, athletic, educated and a push over when it comes to those making decisions in her love life.
Autumn is engaged to her long term boyfriend for eights. A boyfriend that seems like the right piece of her planned prefect world as she just goes through the motions of creating this simple and steady future for her self as if she's sleeping through life.
Until she is woken up by reality when she catches her fiancé balls deep in a younger girl from her home town. Autumn, isn't as emotional hurt by this which is no surprise. She really didn't love her pencil dick fiancé any way. Relieved, that she can moved on very quickly she heads out to visit her friend in L.A leaving her life behind.

As Autumn walks the through the threshold and witnesses a wild party filled with plastic Barbie dolls, sex and lots of alcohol, Autumn looks to retreat to her GFs room when she's pulled in by a sexy God covered in tattoos and chiseled abs. Autumn is mesmerize beyond sexual tension when Mr Dripping in Sex makes eye contact. Mr. Dripping in Sex breaks eye contact with Autumn but she's is so intrigued beyond herself.
When Autumn wakes she finds out that Mr. Dripping in Sex is actually the home owner, Jared Reynolds. With Tawny gone and no where to go Autumn is given and opportunity to participate in a film Jared is shooting. When Autumn realizes that this is not an average movie that she was so willing to partake in she realizes that this movie contain less clothing and more make up that she's ever worn in her life, for Jared is the hottest porn star the country has ever seen. Brandon Boner. Yes! Jared takes Autumn in and helps her get on her feet. Knowing she not like the other women in is life and not part of the industry. Not to mention he has learned all about Autumn through his conversations with Tawny. Wink wink....
Brandon and Autumn become great friends over a short period time. She never judges him. She never asks for more than what he is given her. A home until she can settle on my own and his friendship.
Their relationship is truly based on a friendship of getting to know one another with no judgments. But as the relationship progresses into sexual tension it's playful and also comical. These two start to build a relationship of what their personal needs are without crossing the line. But every line must be crossed at some point when the body calls and the emotions evoke more then just sex.
I think for Jared living in this lifestyle you the see the separation of his alter ego. Brandon Boner, the porn star, confident, Business savvy, Controlled and truly loves his job and is a dom is the industry. But when you see Jared Reynolds, you see someone who is homegrown, with values looking to fill a void, looking for something that's real. Surrounded by false friends and force pretenses. He's literately surrounded by people that want a piece of him physical or material. I think what he finds in autumn is his constant, something that is real and true, and something that is not touched his career.
For Autumn she has never have passion of her own. She has lived a squeaky clean life. Has a plan for the future. When she's with Jared she sees the softer side of him, someone she can just be herself around and that's what gravitates her to him. He's different from any attraction she's had with any other male. Lets face it, she spent eight years of her life with a dud. She gets from Jared what she's always wanted in a relationship someone who strikes a nerve so deep that she's never taped into before and it's liberating.
But all in all Jared is a porn star. This is something Autumn has to deal with and Jared has to think about if he's willing to be with her. To Jared, Autumn is the real thing and that's something that has him thinking.
I love the way the story played out. Neither characters passed judgment on each other. The conversations about their relationship and their progression was real and not fluffed. I really enjoyed seeing Jared outside of his Brandon alter ego. Justine does a really good job showing you both Brandon and Jared as really two people who live two different lives. You see the differences of Brandon/Jared. And damn if I didn't love both of them.
I enjoyed reading how the Autumn and Jared just become one. Not only we're they best friends but had a great partnership of support to one another. They hit some hard decisions they had to make and dealing with the scares and demands of the business.
At the end, it all was what I had hoped.
I enjoyed reading Changing His Game. It was humorous and had me laughing out loud. The sex was just right in the right spots and the level of the sexual tension was really good and it didn't over power the read. I enjoyed how flow of the writing and it had my hooked on the first chapter. I liked that Jared and Autumns story touched a few issues about monogamy, loyalty and real love that's beyond just wild, crazy sex. But sex with meaning and when you find the " one" everything makes sense and turns your world upside down and your normal is not good enough anymore. There's finally a purpose.
Ok I'm hooked. I'll be reading more of Justine Elvira.

This is my first read by Author Justine Elvira.
Holy sexalicious!!! If I could put Jared on a stick and call him a lollipop I would be in heaven. This man, this delectable dirty talking sexy man is more than just a porn star. Jared Reynolds (aka) “Brandon Boner” is in fact a porn God. He owns his own production company and continues to make and star in films. Changing His Game had me in stitches. I don't think I have ever giggled so hard. Author Justine Elvira has a snarky wit you can’t help but love. And let’s face it when you bring up the subject of porn, porn stars and anything sexually taboo people tend to shy away from it, but with this HOT read have no fear. Justine will take you on a sexy, steamy ride while making you laugh. She will have you thinking in an entire different way while touching on some very delicate yet serious subjects.

Autumn just graduated from college and after finding her fiancé in a compromising position with another woman, she packs up her whole life in a duffle bag and drives out to California to visit her friend, Tawny. Only Tawny isn't there but her roommate, Jared aka Brandon Boner (cheesy!) is. I thought Autumn's naivety about being a last minute "actress" to help out Jared was amusing but the rest of the story was ridiculous.
Autumn was supposedly a goody two shoes but she was okay with Jared's chosen profession. She was okay with his parties, with watching him on set, she got off on watching his videos, she was okay with HIV scares. His family was okay with it, her family was okay with it. There was no conflict, it was too unbelievable especially when it came to Jared changing his game for her. I mean would it really be that easy? Also, the writing was flat. I didn't feel any emotion for the characters. If you want to read a book where the H is a porn star read Kendall Ryan's Hard to Love instead.

that was mainly due to the writing style which was very uninspired and repetitive. I'm not sure whether this is a debut, but it felt like one. The premise is actaully quite fun, but the author didn't really do anything with the plot. It was boring and I skimmed the last 40% just because I don't do DNF.
Autumn annoyed me to no end. she was immature, whiny, clingy, judgemental, dependant and needy. god girls like that are annyong as hell. I didn't care for her one bit.
Jared was more fun, though it felt like the author forced him to misunderstand certain reactions from Autumn just to have a conflict.
The dialogues were so unrealistic and constructed and awkward. it really was painful reading them.
The only thing good were the sex scene and the dirty talk. that was truly hot. The rest? No. just no.

I first heard about this book by reading the summary on a book blog on Facebook a few days back and thought I have to read that. Fast forward a few days and I managed to forget the title but not the summary. I am so glad I found it the day it came out. I really enjoyed this book and read it in one sitting. After a bitter betrayal by her fiance a naive girl moves to Hollywood to stay with her friend she hadn't seen in forever. When she gets there she discovers her friend is not there but becomes first a roommate, then friend, and finally a lover to Jared a porn star with his own tragic past. The book was well written and edited. The author had a way of making you fall hard for Jared. Is there anything hotter than a tattooed pierced porn star? I will definitely be reading more from this author.

The novel was exciting, I love the characters and I like the writing style.
I also like the drama though I wanted more drama, like... her leaving then he's gonna be begging for her to back kind of drama...
There's a lot of scenes to love and like in this novel.
Sometimes I felt bad for her but well, he's a porn star! but still, the novel is on the safe side, so it wasn't able to tear my heart out but it's good! so 4 stars!

Did I just read the same book as all these 4 star ratings?! Wow. The storyline and dialogue is Soooo bad, sooooo cheesy and just plain ugh. The H is annoying and beyond niave and I never did figure out/ feel what exactly these 2 saw in each other. I am never getting those 3 hours back.

Loved, loved, LOVED this book! It isn't often that a book grabs my full attention early on and keeps me hooked. I was so desperate to find out what happened next that I literally stayed up almost all night reading this one.

I almost fell in love with this one. Overall it was pretty great. The chemistry and passion between the hero and heroine was enough to have you hot and bother from here until eternity.
