“Angel, you might want to rethink whatever’s brewing in that pretty head of yours…”
Adelaine has left her old life behind and started fresh. She’s happy. She has new friends, a new job, and far less stress. Nothing can burst her bubble. Until it does. When the fiancé she left at the altar walks through the door of the body shop where she works, all the blood drains from her face.
Bear has at least as many secrets as Addie. He doesn’t care that he’s mysterious. What he does care about is protecting the Littles in his MC, and with his size, this is not an issue. If anyone dares mess with the women in the club, they will find themselves on the receiving end of his wrath. If anyone dares mess with the angel who has recently stolen his heart though…
Stepping in as Addie’s personal protection detail is a no brainer, but guarding his heart is nearly impossible.

Bear one of my favourite characters has finally found his Little Addie, this is a wonderful read you’ll love reading Addie had been about to get married to a man she knew nothing about and a he had not even looked her in the eyes or gotten her name right and also had no idea what so ever he did and had never asked her anything about her life either. When she had finally decided that she was going to make a last-minute run from her future husband by running out of the church and paying the limo driver to help her to get to the airport where she had left everything and one behind and started all over again. Having managed to find a part time job working in the reception of th local Motorcycle repair and recovery garage she had started to make new friends with both the men that worked there along with their littles, they had the reputation of keeping their daddies on their toes as well. Addie was so happy with Bear who took such good care of her and who she already knew she loved and wanted to spend the rest of her days with, he was her Yin to his Yang and she had never known such real love and caring since her father had been alive and she had missed the care, compassion and family atmosphere she soaked up at the Shadowridge Guardians MC. I can also confirm that there is a great surprise in this story that Bear had his PI investigating and discovered about why her ex-Joseph was still trying to get her to marry him and I can honestly say that most readers will not see this one coming. This is what make Becca’s books such a wonderful read you van never be sure what to expect!! I thoroughly enjoyed the book and look forward to reading any future publications; keep up all the wonderful writing.
In the prologue of this book, we meet Addie as she runs from a marriage arranged by her mother and takes the first step in reclaiming her life.
As the book opens, we see a very excited Eden as she asks Bear to make a few extra of his special bear shaped pancakes. Her friend Addie, whom she met at the university, was starting work today in the shop. Eden doesn't know if she's Little, but she does know Addie needed the job.
We get a glimpse of Addie's thoughts as she's about to start this new job. Reminding herself why she's here and how she felt when her father died and how relieved she still was that no one had found her. Yet she's more than a little nervous starting this job. Eden being there with pancakes was sweet, but it really didn't help settle her nerves.
When Bear first sees Addie, she awakens the Daddy in him and it's startling, he hasn't thought about having a little in a very long time. He's content being the uncle to all the Littles, and we get to see a flashback of why he doesn't want to open his heart to another.
Addie settles into her job, and she learns more about the Daddy/Little lifestyle she's only read about up until now. She's met all the other women and things are going well. So well, that she's planning on staying for dinner and movie night. Then her past, in the form of her ex, Joseph catches up.
Bear going into Daddy mode and Addie accepting she's little tugs the heartstrings. It takes a bit, but Bear confesses why he's stayed away, and she tells him about her mother and Joseph.
I love the way this story plays out. From Bear and the other's protecting Addie to the conniving Littles there is laughter, fun, angst, scares, romance and sizzle too.
It was ok but not really exciting. Nothing happened and then it was the end.
I did enjoy it but it was really rushed and there’s not really a plot. Addie is basically a doormat for her mother. As she’s about to get married to a man her mother picked out, she realises that she can’t go through with it and runs off. It skips forward to Addie is starting a job at the Mc’s garage and is friends with Eden at college. As the girls get closer, Addie realises that she’s a little. As soon as Bear sees Addie he wants her but as his ex broke his heart years before he avoids Addie like the plague for two weeks. This part wasn’t really written about, it just jumps forward to Addie is now close friends with all the littles. I would have liked to have read about that.
When Addies ex comes into the garage looking for her, Addie is terrified. Not really sure why as it turns out but anyway, Bear realises that he can’t fight his feelings anymore and that’s it. They’re suddenly in a relationship and she’s best friends with all the littles.
There’s a couple of funny parts where the littles play tricks on their daddies, and I really laughed at one of them. One thing that I absolutely loved is there was no awful scene with Doc supposedly examining Addie. I absolutely loathe those. There’s a lot of huge gaps at the beginning and end of chapters so it’s probably only 150 pages long, and personally I thought it was too short. I can’t really write anything else as nothing happens in this book.
What's the old saying? Once burned, twice shy. That certainly describes Bear. We know that he's a Daddy to his core, albeit a Daddy without a Little but he loves watching over the club's Little girls. He spoils them with secial Bear pancakes, protects them and dotes on them collectively. He had Little once but it didn't turn out well. Addie is a runaway bride starting a new life free of her mother's expectations, mandates and snobbish lifestyle. Getting a job at the club's motorcycle shop opens a whole new world for her. One she's only read about but never imagined was real. Drawn to each other from their first meeting it takes some time and an honest conversation for Bear and Addie to start exploring their dynamic. Bear is everything Addie never had as a child. He's loving, protective, observant, silly at times, in charge but handles her gently and the very essence of a big ol' teddy bear. Addie finds the happiness peace and family she's never had. No amount of coercion or Carolina could persuade to go back. She has everything and everyone she wants right here in Shadowridge.
I love love love this series and this book is no exception. Bear is the Seventh tale in the Shadowridge Guardians series. All about a group of tough and caring motorcycle club daddies who find their perfect littles Bear is so named because he looks like one. He has for a very long time though he would never have a little girl again, so he closed his heart and never thought of the possibility, he was just happy to be an uncle to all the MC littles. That is until Addie appeared, one look at her and he was smitten. Though of course these things never run smoothly so he denied the attraction and avoided her. Bear is a fun character. Full of humour and rough gruff daddieness. What's not to love. Addie is running from her past and until now did not realise what was missing from her life. Can Bear and all the littles help her discover who she truly is when she sets herself free. I love these characters, the world they inhabit and their relationships. I highly recommend this book, series, and author.
Becca Jameson's new book "Bear," the seventh book in the Shadowridge Guardians series, is a cute sweet story. In the beginning Adelaine, or Addie, wanted to do what she wants not what her mother wants, she just realized when getting ready for her arranged marriage. So she ran. She found a new place for herself. She has college classes, an apartment, a new job and a friend. When working Bear stops by to pick up a plate that was made for her, scares her but he learned about love at first site for stole his heart. Bear fought it, bad past relationship, but after two weeks he finally admitted she was his little. From then on steamy. But let's not forget the past does decide to show up. To find out what I mean you need to read the book. I highly recommend it.
I was given an advanced reader copy of this book for my honest review.
What a fantastic story. I am looking at motorcycle clubs and the men differently now. These books have changed my view of motorcycle groups.
Adelaine (Addie) was about to get married to a man she really did not know or like just because her mother had arranged it between the two families. While she was getting ready, she had second thought and finally made the decision to make a run for it. She took the first flight out of town and got herself an apartment registered to go back to school and also got a job at Shadowridge Guardians MC. This is where she meets Bear.
At first Bear likes her, but he had been hurt in the past and didn’t want to get involved. Now you will have to read this wonderful book and see how they finally get together. That worked for him for about a few days. Enjoy
Bear is the guy all the MC Littles love. He dotes on all of them, makes them pancakes and hot chocolate and watches over them like a proud Uncle. he would love to have a Litttle to call his own but after the way his last relationship ended he just is nto sure he can try again. Eden met Addie when she started back to college. She also helped her get a job at the Motorcycle repair shop the MC has as a receptionist. Addie has had crap luck in the relationship department as well. She's just gotten out of a non loving relationship and is trying her best to learn to stand up on her own. While she has read lots of books about Littles she isn't sure she could let herself be one. But when she meets Bear she starts wondering. And Bear starts wondering about her. Before too long the sparks start flying and it is awesome! They are made for one another! 10/10 for sure!
Who doesn’t love a grumpy overprotective motorcycle Daddy? I got all that in more in Bear by Becca Jameson. This book is the newest addition to the Shadowridge Guardians. Addie and Bear’s relationship is marked by how well their personalities complement each other perfectly. Their special connection grows and deepens as they allow themselves to be vulnerable and open to love. Addie had to learn to stand up for herself and she was able to do that because of Bear’s belief in her and his support. Watching Bear finally get the Little that he has always dreamed of just made me smile. I love when all the Littles and Daddies get to hang out together because I get to revisit with characters that I had already enjoyed. I love this series and I look forward to more books.
Her mother decided with his parents that the two should marry! She wasn't even asked what she wanted, or pick out her own dress or anything! Money it's all about money. Ugh!
Addie was taking classes at the college & met Eden! They had Algebra together. Eden met her to study. When she found out Addie needed a job she suggested her for the Motorcycle Repair Shop receptionist! It's there that she meets Bear.
After a bad relationship where the woman lied & wasn't a Little, he was determined to not go through that again. Then he saw his Angel.
Great story! As I said before I'm really enjoying this Series! Learning more about Daddy's & Little's!
I have been waiting for Bear to get his story told and Becca Jameson did such a good job with it. He didn't think he'd ever want another relationship, but something clicked for him when he saw Addie!! It was fun to watch both of them navigate this path that neither of them thought would happen. Seeing the other Littles help Addie along and watching Bear get more and more protective made me happy on so many levels! This whole series by Ms. Jameson, Pepper North and Kate Oliver has become one of my favorite series!
I totally loved this book from beginning to end! Bear and Addie are so perfect! These two belong together in every sense of the word. Addie escapes a life that is not for her, no love, all decisions always being made for her. So when she meets Bear, there may be an instant connection but she is hesitant. Bear never thought he would meet his forever Little girl until he comes across Addie and all bets are off! Bear completely melted my heart and I just wanted to hug Addie! Such a great addition to this incredible series!
Oh I love this series with each new book! Bear is a Daddy that is just waiting, thinking he will never have a little to call his. Especially after what his ex did. In walks Addie and he knew that she was his. I loved the interactions between these two and the trouble that the littles get into. There was not a slow part of this book. It was full of heat, humor, and a little anxiety. A stuffy goes a long way to healing a heart.....
Bear was hurt by a woman who used him for money and now he is a daddy who fears he will never have a little girl of his own. He protects all the littles of his MC club. Then he meets Addie who ran away on her wedding day because her mother was forcing her to marry a man she did not love. When bear meets her he feels connected but because he was hurt it takes him a while to accept that Addie could be his happily ever after
Loved this great story of Bear; a Shadowridge MC and Addie; a runaway bride. Addie is nearly swept into a loveless marriage by her controlling mother. She escapes at the last moment and ends up at the Shadowridge MC garage as a receptionist. From here we follow the trials and tribulations of their ensuing romance. A bit of drama, lots of love and of course heaps of spice keep the reader on their toes throughout this book. Lovely story.
Starting as a receptionist, not having been employed before Addie was nervous. The club needed help to answer calls, take bookings, and place tags on keys from clients' bikes, etc. Once Bear sees the young woman at the desk, he can't stop thinking about her. He thought he saw a Halo over her head from the sun shining in the office. Fighting his thoughts on hoping she is a Little. Thoroughly enjoyed reading this story. Thanks, Becca!
BEAR! The big ol’ teddy bear that indulges the littles as he babysits but never having his own. And he is just fine with that. Until he meets the new help at the shop. But she comes with baggage and so does Bear. Watching these two learn to trust and love again made me feel as soft and squishy as the teddy bears the Shadowridge Guardians pass out.
I'm so happy Bear got his little. He is always helping his brothers take care of their girls and now he has his own. Addie can definitely speak her mind, but let's Bear take care of her so she can release her stress. She loves her punishments even when she didn't misbehave. This story has a feel good vibe and it's worth the read if you love littles.
A great addition to the awesome Shadowridge Guardians series!! We’ve known Bear since the beginning of the series, and to finally learn his back story & see him find his HEA is so awesome! Becca Jameson hits the nail on the head with this book & I seriously recommend reading it & adding it to your collection!
These Daddies seem to get paired up with the perfect littles. Addie is perfect for Bear. Both come from wealthy backgrounds but prefer a simpler way of life with friends that are more like family than their own. Wish we knew more about Bear's background though. Now on to the next book..... ;D
A great story with lots of unexpected twists added in. Addie and Bear are a fantastic couple…and OMG, his real name! LoL. An absolute real treat to read. Definitely recommend reading.
Iv'e been waiting since book1 for Bear to find his Little. He finally finds his Little in Addie. They both have some surprises. I love learning the back stories of these Shadowridge Guardians. Great story.
I am really liking this series by the different authors and Bear’s story is no different. I like how the men fall hard and fast. The men are sensitive but strong and willing to show their nurturing side.
This was the first Daddy/Little book I have read. I enjoy this author and had seen teasers/snippets from this book so I decided to give it a try. A little surprised at how much I enjoyed it. I really enjoyed the characters especially Bear. I may have to start this series from the beginning.
I love these books about Daddy Dom bikers finding their Little girls. Bear appears big and scary but he's a softie for the Littles. He meets Addie and knows she's the one for him.
Addie decided she couldn’t go through with the wedding her mother arranged for her. She left Joseph at the altar to start a new life. She met Eden in class, who got her an interview with Kade in the Repair shop. On day one Bear knew he was in trouble.
