Travis enjoys his fifteen minutes of fame after surviving a tragic accident by eating his dead companions. He returns home unemployed, broke, and uncomfortable with the world around him. With the help of some old friends, he gets back on his feet -- a job at the morgue, a steady drinking schedule, a lady. While going through his fan mail, Travis discovers an invitation to meet a man who is the president of a group with a great interest in his ordeal. They want him to speak at the next meeting, and they're willing to pay. And maybe, just maybe, he'll think about becoming a member himself. For a few grand, Travis unwittingly enters a world that will challenge who he is and who he wants to be, and will eventually threaten his life and the lives of those close to him.
