Jake Ryan had been best friends with Jay Morgan since they were in middle school. Jake had always valued being an only sibling, especially when Jay’s younger sister, Rachel, was always in the picture. Her personality always rubbed Jake the wrong way, and the fact that she always had to butt into her big brother’s business annoyed him more than he could say.
Rachel, on the other hand, had way too much fun bothering Jake, he let it be known that she always rubbed him wrong, and she took great joy in making sure to always let it happen. Even after their drunk, and oh stupid night, she still teased him. But when Jake came to be her personal one-man rescue mission to help her out of a blizzard, she wanted no part of it. It seemed a few minutes too long of arguing and annoying each other meant that they were stuck in her family cabin until help came, if they came.
What could happen if two people who clearly hated each other, are forced to spend an unknown amount of hours together? Could they get over the bickering long enough to figure out how to get help? Could they actually pull together and work through their problems? Better yet, could they finally stop denying the attraction they’ve both buried since high school?
I was an ARC reader for this book and let’s just say it is amazing! From the beginning it has you hooked and also frustrated of the situation that is going on and rooting for them perfect level of spice and all the details! Such a great quick read cause once you start you won’t be able to put it down! Enemies to lovers, brother’s best friend and sister.
Oh my heart! A brother’s best friend romance that I could not put down. I read this story so fast and did not want it to end! I loved Jake and Rachel’s story. I love all the other characters and storylines as well. The layers of this story are everything! The bromance between Jay and Jake, The older sibling/protector ship between Jay and Rachel!!! That ending stole my heart!
Short, spicy, brothers best friend , forced proximity romance to captivate your attention and have you reading in one sitting. Another great read by Theresa Lambe.
This was a great, quick & easy book - two of my favourite romance tropes - enemies to lovers & forced proximity. At some points the writing did feel a little rushed, but overall I enjoyed the read! I kept finding myself mixing up who was speaking, as well as confusing Jay and Jake at one stage which made for a few awkward moments!! Would happily read more of Theresa’s writing!
Super cute. I would have loved for this to have been a longer book. I felt like the time stamps were unnecessary and didn't really add much value to the story itself. If anything, it made me feel like the story progressed much more quickly than would be "normal" for those circumstances. But I loved the whole story line and the characters. I liked that the FMC wasn't helpless and this just had everything I want in a short and sweet romance.
This was a quick and easy romance novel. Jake and Rachel get trapped in Rachel’s family cabin when an unexpected blizzard surprises them. Jake is best friends since childhood with Rachel’s older brother Jay. Jay made Jake promise that nothing would happen between him and Rachel. Jake knew that he couldn’t ever risk his friendship and second family if he ever caved into his feelings for Rachel. Where Rachel had growing feelings for jake as well as they grew up but she was content in other relationships that just didn’t seem to workout. I was shocked to read that they had previously slept together before they got trapped in the cabin together. Though I think that fact added to sexual tension that would could feel coming from the two of them! The spice was great and just what you’d expect from this forced proximity trope. I did wish that the book didn’t end in the way it did.. I felt like the pace of the book was great in describing the time trapped but after they got rescued by Jay the book felt rushed to me. There was hardly any details about their relationship after they decided to try having a true relationship that was out in the open. I was pleasantly shocked when Jay revealed that he had made Jake promise not to go anywhere near his sister because he knew they would be forever and didn’t want them to get together at the wrong time in their lives and mess it up.

Rachel is alone at the cabin and Jay her Brody and my best friend sends me to go get her. We fight all the time she won’t listen to me. Jake gets there and Rachel and him argue and the blizzard starts so they’re stuck. They agree to a truce, and the attraction between them grows. They can’t do anything because Jay will freak out. How can they be together? Great characters and storyline Highly recommended Amazing Book. I love Jake and Rachel and their dynamic and character development. Great supporting characters. This book has angst, sarcasm, and the spice is so good. I can’t wait to see what coming next.
Fun story about getting snowed in with your brother’s best friend who you secretly love and have a secret history with. Being forced together for a period of time is a great way to talk through your issues. I’m glad that after a lot of back and forth, Rachel and Jake managed to sort it out and that her brother Jay was good with it. I would have liked to have known a bit more of what happened after they were finally together and hopefully the plan is for another book. There was plenty of spice in this book for the spice lovers. I did however struggle with some of the writing and the layout style. Overall a fun story and also a quick read. 3.5⭐️
Trapped Together by Theresa Lambe is such a good quick read!
Rachel is in a remote cabin with spotty cell service with no way to know that a blizzard is coming so her brother Jay sends his best friend Jake to go get her. Rachel and Jake, who have had a love hate relationship over the years, end up staying at the cabin because the blizzard is upon them before they know it.
I really like the characters, the storyline and the twist at the end! Recommend for a quick fun read with some spice and a hea!
After leaving her fiance, Rachel wanted to be alone at her families cabin. A huge blizzard was forecast and her brother sent Jake up to bring her back, but they don't get along. They both end up trapped in the storm, they spend their time figuring out their feelings and exploring what they could have. I loved the story, it was heartwarming and amusing. I loved the banter between them and how they couldn't leave each other alone while trying to ignore their feelings. They were a great couple.
3.5⭐️ Rounded up to 4 ⭐️ Brother's Best Friend is one of my favorite tropes. The story was good. I just couldn't get into it as much as I liked, and I have zero clue why. Jake has kind of a seedy past, and that makes him think he isn't good enough for Rachel and definitely doesn't think Jay will get behind them in a relationship. Rachel didn't understand why they couldn't be together because she never knew about the conversation her brother and Jake had. Loved the surprise at the ending with how it worked out for them all.
I really enjoyed this book! It has a fun plot of two “enemies” getting trapped in a house during a blizzard. The MMC is the FMC’s brother’s best friend. They have known each other since high school and have had a “can’t stand each other” relationship. The main portion of the book takes place in the 24 hours of the blizzard. With only one bedroom in the house available and the electricity & phone service out—- how are you to stay warm & not get bored out of your mind? 😉 This book brings the heat!
This is a great brothers best friend novel! It follows Rachel and Jake. She just broke up with her fiancé and wanted to stay in her family’s cabin when a suprise blizzard comes. Since the service is really bad there Jay, her brother, sends Jake to go get her and bring her back to the hotel where everyone is staying. Once Jake gets there they realize it’s to late to get back so there both stuck riding out the storm together. I definitely recommend reading this book because it keeps you reading and you don’t want to put it down! -🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️ -Brothers best friend - Enemy to lovers
A fast paced 2nd chance romance! This had some of my favorite tropes; brother's best friend, forced proximity and hidden feelings. Rachel and Jake had clear chemistry. But with Jake being Rachel's brother's best friend they assumed it would never pan out! The ups and downs while they figure things out, try to fight their attraction and finally make a choice kept me on my toes waiting to see what would happen. I couldn't put this down!
Brothers best friend, close/forced proximity Rachel went up to her families cabin after a nasty breakup from her fiancé. She wanted some alone time to re group. Insert Jake… Rachel brother noticed a snow storm coming and wanted Jake to go get her. Thus them being trapped together. Of course words are exchanged and tensions build. Easy read
I really enjoyed this story. The characters were relatable and the spicy scenes were well written. I liked the little twist near the end. I loved the cabin setting and loved the plot where the characters were forced together due to the blizzard. Overall, Trapped Together is a fun, heartwarming, spicy story that I thoroughly enjoyed reading!
Everything I love to read is all wrapped up in this amazing book. I got Enemies-to-lovers, spice, romance, suspense, and a HUGE shocking twist towards the end. The author did an AHHMAZING job writing this novel. It's by far one of my favorites this year. It's definitely a must-read! 😍
Loved this! You could feel the tension rolling honestly. They both hate they want each other. What better recipe for getting trapped in a blizzard. The "party" oh gosh did I NOT see that part coming. The banter and love is *chefs kiss*
This book was an ARC review for me. 💙 Jake and Rachel are trapped at a family cabin during the blizzard. Jake is Rachel’s brothers best friend, so if you know, you know. This has the perfect amount of spice, and the ending is 🤌🏻. Definitely would recommend and reread. 📕
I really enjoyed this read. I’m not normally a fan of romances that are sooooo fast paced, but in reality - with the backstory of this one - it’s not actually that fast paced. I think this is one of the first stories I’ve read that are written this way and I actually liked it. The book was written really well and the characters were developed brilliantly. I adored Jake…even if he could come across as a bit of a douche, but there was a reason for that! I wasn’t expecting the ending with Rachel’s brother either which was a pleasant surprise. And can we talk about the spice….mmm it was spot on! Would definitely recommend.
Nothing like being snowed in with your brother’s best friend! It was a relatively quick read (175ish pages) so something that I went through in under 2 hours. I loved the storyline as well as Rachel and Jake as the main characters. The only thing I would say I wish happened was getting more of the story once they both became a couple. The story was good, but now I’m left with wondering what happens next.
This book was an ARC for me and it didn’t disappoint 💗 A short, fast read and spicy 🌶️ I couldn’t put the book down and soaked it up sooo fast! Rachel and Jake trapped together and both found out their true feelings for each other - but there is one problem, his best friend, her brother. The little surprise at the end was my favourite part! 🩷
Cute book! It was a quick read but it managed to fit a lot into those pages. Jake and Rachel knew how to keep each other on their toes and which buttons to push, but their connection and chemistry was undeniable. I would’ve liked to see more of it but it was a sweet ending.
Personally, I struggled with the style of writing. For me, it was lacking. I did enjoy the characters. Both Rachel and Jake were interesting, and I could see how in love they were. Overall, the storyline was great, I just perfer I different writing style.
If you're looking for a book with forced proximity and lots of spice....this is the book for you! The title says it all 'trapped together' is exactly that. A story of two people trapped in a cabin during a blizzard. The two main characters, Rachel and Jake, do have history that makes this book more than just two people stuck trying to figure out how to spend their time until the blizzard breaks. Their history is what makes this story that much more and I really enjoyed the flow of Theresa' writing.
This story was so much fun , the suspense was spot on and I would love to know where can I find myself a blizzard? I loved the whole story and the family support was amazing.
