The Sticky Toffee Pudding Club was such a good read, it's relatively short but full of feelings and hope.

I don't hesitate to choose to read a Rosie Green book because I'm sure I'll find a brilliant well written story among its pages.

This novel tells Annalise's story, she is a down because her lovely grandma is at the hospital, so she's forced to stop selling their homemade puddings at the market. Only some unexpected encounters will light up her future, giving her new reasons to boost her spirits.

Annalise is one of those characters you want to hug, because life hasn't been kind with her, and she really needs to become more confident and try to change her future.

I enjoyed having past characters involved into Annalise's journey and can't wait to see what's next for Little Duck Pond Café crew.

And just like that we are Book 35 in this glorious series. I do have one thing to say...I really hope we see Fen, Ellie and Jazz have their own books again. Don't get me wrong I ADORE how much this series has grown and all the new ladies, but I miss the original trio.

This book will make you hungry! And there was a lot of talk about my favourite pudding....Sticky Toffee Pudding...I actually had it last night with dates and all! It was pure lush. So this book was just like that. It sticks to you, makes you smile, and leaves you wanting more.

Each book is too short, and as much as I can't wait to see the trio, I want to know more about Annalise and Jensen! I can't wait to hear about their story.

These books are always magical, and I devour them too quickly. Somehow I start the book and the next thing I know it's over! I fly through them without even meaning to! It's a lovely addition to the series. Plus Barley, what a scene-stealer. Marguerite, well she was not the nicest character, but at the same time, I would be intrigued to see what happens with her in the future.

Another winner, and here's to plenty more!!!!

BLOG TOUR REVIEW

Review for 'The Sticky Toffee Pudding Club' by Rosie Green.

This book is a gorgeous addition to the stunning 'Little Duck Pond Café' series. I have absolutely loved every single book that I have read in this gorgeous series but I must admit that this one was definitely the tastiest and sweetest one!! in this gorgeous addition to the series we meet Annalise and her lovely Gran 'Loli'. Annalise and Loli used to sell delicious old fashioned desserts at the market thanks to an old notebook that was discovered in a charity shop find called 'Millicent Edgeworth's Book Of Puddings' which belonged to Millicent and was written in 1938. When Loli ended up in in hospital in desperate need of a kidney they had to stop their cake business. Annalise has just lost her job in a wedding boutique and her life goes from bad to worse when she misses her stop on the bus, gets off and then hurts her ankle!! When she is on her way walking back she meets the absolutely adorable "Barley" who seems to be missing his owners. When Barley decides to go for a swim handsome and dreamy Jenson comes to the rescue, saves him from the water and takes him to the rescue centre. Annalise is now jobless and has no idea how to get in touch with the handsome Jenson as they didn't exchange numbers. Just before Annalise lost her job at the wedding shop she met Maddy and Ellie who own/work in 'The Little Duck Pond Café' and after a chance meeting with them again the three come up with a brilliant idea to make money and try to catch the attention of Jenson with Annalise running a Pudding Club at the café. Will Annalise find Jenson again? Will 'The Pudding Club' be a success? Grab your copy of this absolute stunner today to find out for yourself!! I can promise that you will not regret it!! I absolutely loved this sweet romance filled with puddings, family, friendship, a gorgeous dog, a handsome man and absolutely everything you could ask for and much, much more!!! I absolutely LOVE the fact that Rosie has actually included the recipes used in the book at the back of the book which I am definitely going to give a go when I get a chance!! thank you so much Rosie, what an absolutely fantastic and thoughtful idea!!! This really is a perfect book to curl up on the sofa with while warming your hands with some hot chocolate or while bathing in the sun, you will be transported to Sunnybrook surrounded by amazing characters in no time! It really is another gorgeous book in the series and the rest of the books in this series are just guaranteed to be just as stunning!! This book is a fantastic read that I just could not put down!!! A gorgeous, unputdownable storyline that I fell in love with and I can guarantee you will too!!!

Although this is the thirty fifth book in this stunning series I would have had absolutely no problems reading it without reading the any of the other books in the series prior to this one. Every single book in this series can be read as a standalone. Any details or events that have previously happened are mentioned in just the right amount of detail to let a new reader know what has happened and yet not too much to bore a previous reader.

Get ready to escape mundane life fall in love with this gorgeous page turner!!!

This book is extremely well written with vivid descriptions and Rosie's gorgeous and evocative writing skills setting the picture perfectly in the readers mind. The title, description and cover works perfectly with the storyline. It is an absolutely ideal read for anyone who is looking for an escape from reality that will have you hooked from beginning to end. I absolutely LOVED the realism of this storyline which made it so easy to picture everything that was going on which had been helped by Rosie's fantastic evocative writing skills. I cannot wait to get hooked into more of Rosie's books! This is definitely one of those books that will turn a frown upside down and make life seem a lot brighter. Rosie's evocative writing skills drew me deep into the book bringing the atmosphere and characters to life all around me. It is one of those books that I could not put down. I ended up walking around the house looking at my kindle reading away and absolutely devoured it in one sitting. The characters were all an eclectic mix and each one of them were realistic and strong. I was completely invested in them all. It also makes them more realistic, believable and made me feel even more for them than I normally would. Rosie's fantastic and evocative writing skills makes you feel the same as the characters were. Each of the characters are memorable and unique in their own ways and they are a group of people that I wont be forgetting any time soon and cannot wait to meet time and time again!! I absolutely loved meeting many of the amazing characters from Sunnybrook again who have very quickly become to feel like friends that I enjoy meeting again and again and miss every time I come to the end of the book. The majority of them are absolutely amazing characters, each with their own strong and unique personalities, all well developed and the majority I absolutely love!! Grab your copy of this page turner and get sucked in to The Sticky Toffee Pudding Club' today!!

Congratulations Rosie on yet another absolutely stunning read that I just could not put down!!! Another gorgeous book in this stunning series and an absolutely delicious one at that!! I cannot wait to read more of your previous and future books. I would absolutely love to see this book turned into a movie!!! This is the exact reason you are on my favourite author list and here's to your next success 🥂

Overall an unputdownable, gorgeous, STUNNING page turning book filled with desserts, family, romance, friendship and so much more!!

I love The Little Duck Pond Cafe series, it’s such a great mood lifter, every story I read makes me smile, laugh and feel all warm inside. Rosie Green writes wonderful stories full of heartwarming, relatable characters and her descriptions are so vivid, you can visualise all the gorgeous details, or in the case of The Sticky Toffee Pudding Club you can almost taste the deliciousness!

Although this is the 35th book in The Little Duck Pond Cafe series (can you believe it, time does fly when reading fabulous stories) you can definitely read this as a stand-alone without needing to read the others in the series. These books are hard to put down, this one especially so and if you’re anything like me you’ll devour it one sitting.

Annalise and Jensen were so great I’m hoping we get to see them again in a future story from Rosie Green. I also loved the fact Rosie included the recipes in this book, I love to bake so I’m definitely going to have to try more than one and let’s not forget the furbabies, I’m always here for some animal love and was so delighted to see rescue, adoption being recommended. So many babies need to be loved and find a forever home.

The Sticky Toffee Pudding Club is a fantastic addition to this wonderful set of stories, a story full of family, friendship, romance and of course pudding!

Book #35 in the Little Duck Pond series!! It feels like only yesterday that I started reading this series and I'm seriously hoping it never ends!! This is another wonderful installment that now has me craving ALL the puddings!! Do not read this on an empty stomach!!! Recipes are included too so can't wait to try some!

This story centres around Annalise and you can't help but love her! She's just started a new job but all is not going well with the snobby owner! Annalise can never do right in her eyes so she's feeling a bit down! What lifts her spirits is the pudding business she runs with her Nan, and they have a wonderful relationship and the pudding business sees her paths cross with the ladies from the Little Duck Pond cafe and could open some new doors for her!

And then there's an encounter with a stray dog, and a rather lovely man called Jensen but getting to meet him again is proving difficult, so it's a case of will their paths cross again and what will happen to Barley the dog?!

I loved being back in this world again, and the character created have some lovely relationships which is always lovely to read about. Seeing the bond between her and her nan was so touching, and the worries it brings when her Nan is ill brings them closer still. Another wonderful LDP adventure!!

The Sticky Toffee Pudding Club by Rosie Green

I received an advance review copy for free thanks to Rachel's Random Resources and I am leaving this review voluntarily.

Blurb

After bonding with the lovely Jensen as they save a dog in trouble, Annalise is gutted when they part without swapping numbers. She'd had the weirdest feeling he could be The One but now she might never see Jensen again. When she loses her new job in a wedding boutique, her week goes from bad to worse – until Maddy and the café girls come to her rescue with an exciting solution. The Pudding Club. Can Annalise rise to the challenge and start teaching others how to make her glorious puds? And could The Pudding Club be the key to finding Jensen again?

My Opinion

A relatively quick read that left me wanting some sticky toffee pudding. It is always great returning to the Little Duck Pond series and whilst this is book 35 in the series, Rosie is not out of ideas yet. Annalise has a lot going on, she is trying to help her grandmother whilst also trying to find the mystery man she met whilst rescuing a dog.

At less than 200 pages this book was easy to finish in one afternoon. Another great book in the series.

The title of this book had my attention, I mean who doesn’t love a sticky toffee pudding? A story of old fashioned puddings and a club to boot was just what I needed to read about.

I adored getting to know Annalise and her fabulous gran, they are truly wonderful characters. Neither of them are having an easy time of it at the moment but there is a certain magic in Sunnyside where you just know that the characters are going to help each other out and that all will come good. Barley the dog threatens to steal the limelight at times but who can blame him and it’s thanks to this little guy that brings Jensen into Annalise’s life. Of course nothing is straight forward but that makes it all the more enjoyable.

The Sticky Toffee Pudding Club is a welcome addition to the books in the Little Duck Pond Cafe series. The puddings had my mouth watering and what’s even better is that the author has very kindly popped the recipes for them at the end of the story. I’m not the greatest cook but will definitely be giving them a try! What better combination than romance and puddings, it certainly made for the winning ingredients for me. Deliciously good!

I always enjoy another visit to the Little Duck Pond Cafe and I can hardly believe that the latest instalment is number 35! In this visit, we meet Annalise who decides on a new direction after she is sacked from her new job as an assistant in a wedding dress shop. Her relationship with her grandmother is extremely close and she encourages Annalise to take up the chance to show off her puddings. Of course, as a maker of puddings, she is destined to become friends with the girls in the Little Duck Pond Cafe. As ever, it is great to see how everyone is getting along.

Annalise is on the lookout for the handsome man she met whilst rescuing a mischievous dog and who she cannot get out of her mind. Annalise has some challenges as she visits her grandmother who is in hospital and her offer to her grandmother to help her shows you her courage and her selflessness. I hope that we meet up with Annalise and Jensen again before the series ends. They fit so well into the community.

In short: family and friendships
Thanks to the author for a copy of the book

Annalise's life is full of challenges—she’s worried about her grandmother’s health, meets the charming Jensen while rescuing a stray dog but fails to exchange numbers with him, and then loses her job at the wedding boutique. However, her luck takes a turn when she meets Maddy and the café girls, who inspire her to start The Pudding Club and share her passion for baking with eager customers. As she works her magic in the kitchen, Annalise hopes it might just lead her back to Jensen, who shares her love for puddings.

Although this is book 35 in the series, it reads wonderfully as a standalone. Rosie Green crafts such lovable characters, particularly Annalise, whose warmth and kindness shine even through tough times. This heartwarming and engaging story will hook you from the first page, and if you're anything like me, you'll be craving sticky toffee pudding by the end!

Thank you Rachel's Random Resources, the publisher, and the author for providing me with an ARC. All opinions are my own.

I can't believe we are now at book 35 in The Little Duck Pond Café series. This book is about Annalise, her grandmother Loli and their pudding business.

When Loli is admitted to hospital Annalise has to find a job, however, her short stint in a wedding shop is not a success. Reeling from this she needs to find some way to make money. Enter the girls from the Little Duck Pond Cafe with a proposal.

Their idea of working with Annalise was great and it was a joy to see her confidence grow through the book. I loved the idea of a Pudding Club and the descriptions of the puddings are mouthwatering. The fact that they came from an old diary added a special touch into the storyline.

After finding a stray dog and meeting the lovely Jensen I hoped things would work out for Annalise but there were a few twists to navigate first. I hope we get to meet them in future books to see how their story unfolds.

Another lovely read from Rosie which focuses on family, friendship and romance. I'm already looking forward to book 36.

If you are a fan of old fashioned, school puddings then you will definitely find yourself getting very hungry while reading this book.

As there are puddings everywhere including in a rather special recipe book that has assorted notes in it too.

Annalise's relationship with grandma Lilo was rather heartwarming. And her meet cute with Jensen and Barley and subsequent hunt to see if she can find Jensen again as they didn't exchange numbers is a lot of fun.

And through some chance meetings with Ellie and Maddie a new venture for the Little Duck Pond Cafe is born, and as a long time fan of the whole of this series, it was lovely to see a fair few of the regulars in this instalment and be able to catch up with them.

After the previous three books in the series being a sub trilogy, it was nice to be able to reconnect with the series' roots, in a fabulous foodie story.

Thank you to the author for this copy which I have reviewed honestly and voluntarily.

The Little Duck Pond Cafe series is right up there amongst my favorites of series, which of course means I have to read every one of them.
Look at it this way, can you really go wrong with a book filled with everything pudding?
I was smiling my whole way through the book, what's not to love, a mischievously adorable rescue dog named Barley, a granny so kind that you're rooting for, laughs, charming characters and glorious puddings. Though a novella length story this has all that's needed for a fabulous storyline.
The romance was such a fun addition and really hope to see these characters included in another book by the author. Having a pudding shop sounds like so much fun and the pudding demonstrations were making me hungry with the mention of so many different types of pudding. I'm always happy to see authors mention the adoption of animals and hope this encourages someone to rescue their forever pet. Love the author's books and it's such an exciting time to read them.

I was given a complimentary copy of this book.

Annalise has always had a close relationship with her Grandmother and wants to help her recover her health. After a disastrous day at work, Annalise meets Jensen after he heroically saves a stray, but despite their chemistry, they seem destined not to meet again. Meeting Ellie and Maddy from the Little Duck Pond cafe and bonding over their love of traditional puddings, Annalise finds a job, but improving her Grandmother's health and finding her mystery man remains elusive. I love the storytelling and the lovely characters in this story. They draw you into the Little Duck Pond world from the first scenes and make you care about Annalise and her Grandmother. There's some laugh-out-loud humour, poignant moments and the chance of romance, but only if she can find her man. The puddings make this a mouthwatering read, and the recipes at the back will entice you to try them.
It's another entertaining visit to Sunnybrook.

I received a copy of this book from the publisher.

Romance and puddings - what more could a girl ask for ??
I can’t believe this is the 35th novella from Rosie Green in the Little Duck Pond Cafe series. Each and every story is such a delight to read, and uncover new characters and new adventures in the community.
The Sticky Toffee Pudding Club is a gorgeous read about Annalise and her feisty grandmother Loli. I loved their close relationship having lost so much, their comfort in eachother was beautiful.
Seeing Annalise’s confidence grow was wonderful to see as Ellie at the Little Duck Pond Cafe made Vintage Puddings part of the offering at the cafe.
Jensen and Barley were a nice distraction too with a great meet-cute.
Rosie Green has kindly added the recipes for the puddings described in the back of the book and each sound wonderful.

I recommend eating before starting to read this book as it will make you hungry. With mouth watering descriptions and I love that the recipes are in the book too. These stories are short and once you start you literally fly through but you always become invested in the plot and the characters. I love seeing old faces and meeting new ones in the form of Annalise,Lilo,Jensen and the star of the show Barley the dog. I enjoyed watching the relationships develop and I hope we get to see Barley again in future books. Annalise's relationship with her grandmother warmed my heart as did her search to track down Jensen. While her first encounter with Barley made me smile, I also felt saddened by the state of Barley. I could read this book again and again and never be bored. It's the perfect tonic!

I'm reviewing this as part of a tour with Rachel's Random Resources.

This tasty little read is part of the Little Duck Pond Café Series. If you're a fan of puddings, the title alone could sell it. The protagonist, Annalise, was a lovely character, and there were some other characters that I enjoyed too, including Barley the dog. There were some moments in the story that made me smile, and some that made me chuckle.

This was a fairly short read, but it was heartwarming, romantic and sweet. I found it comforting, like the pudding mentioned in the title. It was like a sweet little serving of happiness.

Thank you to Rachel's Random Resources, the author and the publisher, for the opportunity to read and review this.

This lovely novella was just what I needed, and I managed to read it in one sitting. The story revolves around Annalise and Jensen, although told from Annalise’s perspective. Although they had shared a pun-filled exchange earlier, they met properly when Annalise tried to rescue a stray dog. Thankfully, Jensen saves the day and the dog, but neither thinks to exchange numbers. This makes for an intriguing search to discover if he really could be the one.
Annalise is quite delightful. I really took to her character and felt protective of her when she encountered the owner of the bridal boutique. The symmetry of her arrival at the Little Duck Pond Café was delightful, and the book fell perfectly into place.
Jensen is an ideal leading man and couldn’t wait for them to meet again and explore whether they had the potential for a future.
There’s much more to this lovely story, but I avoid spoilers and would hate to give away anything that’s not covered in the synopsis. One very special treat is that the book features the fabulous recipes from The Pudding Club. The weather is now asking for something to stick to the ribs, bathed in golden custard.

The Sticky Toffee Pudding Club is the latest in the Little Duck Pond series of novellas by the awesome lady that is Rosie Green!!

Introducing Annalise, who lives with her grandmother normally, and is frustrated as Loli (as she calls her) is in hospital and refusing to accept Annalise’s help. She meets hunky Jensen when they both save a little dog. Will they ever meet up again after forgetting to share contact information?

I absolutely love reading these novellas. The storylines are so realistic and engaging. The Sticky Toffee Pudding Club is a standalone within the series - you don’t have to have read the previous ones, although you’ll probably want to after reading this one!

Best series of books ever, highly recommend

I can't emphasise enough how much I have loved these books. Rosie makes you feel as if you are one of the villagers, and describes characters and places so well that you can see it while you read about them. It feels as though you could taste the food along with the rest of the regulars because your mouth waters with the descriptions. There are lots of twists and turns to keep you on the edge of your seat. I demolished this series in 3 weeks as I just couldn't put them down. Can't wait for next one.

A light-hearted, feel-good romance novel and book 35 in the Little Duck Pond series.

It is not a terribly long book but it does give you all the feels you look for in this type of read. Once again Rosie Green introduces us to new characters full of depth and who you quickly grow to love.

I loved both Annalise and Jensen as well as little Barley the dog of course (you cannot go wrong with a cute dog in a book!). I was rooting for them all from the start, not forgetting Loli of course!

An absolutely delightful book with a great bunch of characters that centres around old fashioned puddings. Annalise and her grandmother just love puddings and with her encouragement Annalise starts to show off her pudding making skills. Before long she makes friends with the lovely girls from the Little Duck Pond Cafe. Friendship, family and romance make this a great next instalment of a fabulous series.

I absolutely adore this series and my heart does a happy dance every time I see there's a new novella on its way!

The Sticky Toffee Pudding Club is the thirty-fifth book in The Little Duck Pond Café series and just when you think you've found your favourite along comes another.

You couldn't get me back to Sunnybrook quick enough, I love a chance to catch up with friends old and new. The only difference being this time I didn't want to leave all those tasty puddings behind...turns out I didn't need to worry as there were several recipes in the book for us to try at home.

Annalise and her Grandmother were quite the dream-team weren't they when it came to puds? Both were such likeable characters, with Loli reminding me so much of my Nan; stubborn, feisty and with a heart of gold.

A heartwarming, feel good romance with an unsuspecting four legged matchmaker.
