My name is Mason Sabre. I have been writing since I was a small child and discovered I could have a million adventures at the stroke of my pencil (I wasn't allowed to use pen back then). I have written more stories than I could even publish, some of them I wouldn't ever put out, but I have had a blast writing them. I love writing, I love reading. I love to have a fictional adventure. When I am not doing that I am with my children or studying. I have a lifelong love of learning too.
I live in the North of England. It's a little chilly here and a little wet, but it is what I call home and where pretty much all of my stories are based.
I have enjoyed each book and am left wanting more of the story. I haven't really been too interested in books lately, but these have caught my attention again.
I read books one and two of Skin Trade in 2022. Just found the third thinking this was the finale because no further books in this series are advertised. But no.
Interesting story, though I became confused with the past/present scenes. Im still not sure what is happening there. A story of a woman enslaved by vampires who is sold and is led into her destiny.
I haven’t gained any empathy for any of the characters. Payton is all over the show presumably due to trauma and hasn’t demonstrated any character development since the first book.Seth just goes around brooding. I’m not sure where the story is going but feel it could have concluded in three books with a bit of whittling. I’m afraid I won’t wait to find out. I do wonder if Ms Sabre has lost contact with her characters and is unable to find the conclusion herself.
This has a doozy of a cliffhanger that doesn't so much appear, as throw you off bodily at warp speed.
Things are getting yet more complicated for, & about, Payton. The mystery of quite what & who she is, is deepening as new facets become apparent. Seth continues to be quite wonderful! Donovan, on the other hand, continues to be NOT.
The imagery is tantalising & ethereal, bringing with it a depth that is a welcome addition to the genre. I can't wait for the next installment of this entrancing saga.
I'm disappointing I hate being strung along with out a end to a author who claims to not like cliffhangers. This story could of been over in three books there 2 and half hour long I'm a little disappointed. I also never got a real connection with Seth and Payton. I feel like Seth is always dragging Payton along. Payton is always finding trouble because she's stuck in her head.
This story has gone through so many different characters 😃. So much death, so much manipulation, a deceitful mess of wanting to control everything 😱. Payton has been abused for so long that she has lost her way and though Seth loves her, she doesn't believe in it 😩. Thanks again Mason, I'm not sure where or how much more of this story I can take, but I'll keep reading 🤓.
what? no, just NO! I read it so you don't have to. Well most of it, I may have skipped the middle because it was that or add it to my DND, and I have issues not finishing a book/book set. Anyway, here's the end: Payton and Seth finally do each other, Donovan has the grimware, and everyone is about to go to St. Mary's to learn what magic Payton's blood has... The End. No, really that was the end of the trilogy. The trilogy that could have been one book ends without an ending.

This book is slow and frustrating to read. The main female character , Payton, is weak minded , dimwitted, and annoying. I only read all three books hoping to have some questions answered and to make it make sense, but alas , all I got was, “The End”, at the end of this book. Not sure I will even look for the fourth book at this point .
Wow! I read this book in one day! On the edge of my seat throughout as the story unwinds. Cannot wait until Season Four. Like all the Mason Sabre books and series, you crave for the story to never end!
I've read the first three books assuming that it was a trilogy since there was no mention of ANOTHER cliffhanger. Will not be waiting for book 4. Little ridiculous.
These books are a great read. This author is new to me but love these books. There is constant action, mystery...etc. The connection the main characters have has been amazing this far. Can't wait to see where this all leads.
I really struggled through the first half of this book but felt it picked up in the second half. I feel similar to how I did about the second book, not much has progressed. Frustrated with a cliff hanger ending.
Whewww this book had me on a roller coaster ride with all the hops and downs then to end with lots of loose ends. Ughhhh. Gotta read some more books I guess. But very good book for sure.
I read through all 3 really fast. I was excited to see how the end played out. Don't bother. This is the first time I've read this authors work and im stuck wondering if this is how all books/series end.
