In conclusione una serie abbastanza carina, senza pretese che gira intorno all'age gap (16/26 anni).

Da una parte abbiamo un adulto che vuole fare cose da adulto, dall'altra abbiamo una ragazza che vuole vivere l'amore da favola.

Ovviamente tutta la storia della scuola è piuttosto ridicola, avrebbero fatto meglio a fargli fare l'insegnante piuttosto che lo studente. 😅

Uguale per la storia della mafia. Se non fosse stata una famiglia mafiosa ma una normale famiglia adottiva con la figura maschile iperprotettiva , sarebbe stata la stessa identica cosa.

Per il seguito penso ci sia da aspettare parecchio ma immagino che la storia possa ruotare intorno ad un finto triangolo amoroso.

A Girl and Her Guard Dog

The manga just keeps getting better and better. I of course absolutely adore the love story between Keiya and Isaku. But the addition of Kajika was both fun and possibly scary. What does Kajika have planned to lure Keiya and his boss and their underlings into the rival group? Also what will it do to Isaku's school life to have Kajika enrolled there too? What will happen to Isaku and Keiya's relationship now that Kajika is always floating around causing trouble.
Interested to see how this will all play out.

I picked this series up as it's been sitting on my to read list for a while.
I ended up devouring this series in 24 hours. It's sparked the whole mafia romance kick for me. I enjoyed the innocent relationship between our main characters and can't wait for the next one in the series to come out. The artwork is really well done.

An unexpected twist - instead of Keiya quitting school, we have a new yakuza guy trying to blend in with the students 😅 Not sure if he can handle his animosity for Keiya, but it should be interesting. I’m curious if he actually dislikes him or it will turn out that he just respects him too much.

Sırf çıkacak animesinin fragmandan yapılmış editlerine kanıp okumaya başladım mangayı. Ama o kadar kötü çıktı ki yani kafamı duvarlara sürtmek istedim sonucunda. Sırf bitirmek için 8 cilt okumam çok ayrı bi aptallık ama sonunda ne olduğunu öğrenmek istemiştim ve ne göreyim? MANGA DAHA BİTMEMİŞ. Ayrıca devamı da ne zaman gelir meçhul. Şansın böylesi yani. Artık tek edite kanıp bir şeyler okumaya ya da izlemeye yeltenmemem gerektiğini öğrenmeliyim ama bende öyle bi akıl yok maalesef🫠

It’s simple.
The series should have ended with volume 6.

And now it’s just dragging on and on! For no reason…

Il volume mi è piaciuto, ma mi è dispiaciuto vedere occupato un'intero capitolo dal passato della madre di Isaku e il suo bodyguard.
Dopo il volume precedente, avrei preferito che si tornasse a concentrarsi totalmente sui protagonisti principali. Soprattutto visti i pochi capitoli all'interno del volume 8.
C'è anche l'apparizione di un nuovo personaggio che creerà sicuramente problemi. Era inevitabile, visto che stava filando tutto fin troppo liscio. Vedremo le sue intenzioni.

Continua a piacermi questa serie leggera e romantica, una boccata d'aria fresca. La storia d'amore tra Keiya e Isaku mi ha fatta tornare ragazzina. Mi fanno ridere quelli che si sconvolgono tanto per la differenza d'età tra i due protagonisti. Vorrei ricordare che i due non sono cresciuti in un contesto normale e che lui è il braccio destro di un boss della Yakuza... mi preoccuperei più di questo che dei dieci anni di differenza sinceramente 😅

It was okay. The end was great!! Made freshly interested in the story again and excited for Volume 9.

Didn’t like the chapter about Isaku’s mom. Hated finding out that she was basically a slut that slept around with anyone that moved and breathed. Disgusting.

Obviously IN LOVE with the romantic physical touch moments. Can’t wait for more!!

Finally catching up on this series and I found this to be just ok. I didn't find this volume particularly compelling and I wanted more of the relationship. The other drama feels kind of forced. I went back and looked and it's been 2.5 years since I read volume 7...so maybe that's why I had a hard time feeling invested in this one.

Es tan polémica la cuestión del age gap en este manga, ambos están en diferentes etapas de la vida, nuestra chica es una estudiante y Kuti pertenece a la yukaza y cómo pudimos ver en este volumen resulta difícil cuando ambos mundo coinciden. Espero con ansias los próximos capítulos 😚🤌🏼

I feel like pretty much all of this volume was pointless and just setting up a bigger plot for the following volumes, but without being interesting. The chapter with her mother and the bear-san was cute and fun. Other than that... quite the disappointment.

I loved this series right up until Keiya and Isaku got together and then every time they kissed Keiya pushed boundaries and it felt really uncomfortable.

Nuovo volume, nuovo personaggio. Questa volta entra in scene un altro personaggio malavitoso appartenente ad un clan amico. Il nome del tenebroso è Kajika, il quale non vede di buon occhio la presenza di Keiya a scuola insieme alla piccola nipote del boss (che in questo volume, tenetevi forte, festeggerà il suo sedicesimo compleanno; giusto tre giorni prima del compleanno di Keiya, coincidenze o segni del destino ?🧐). In ogni caso le cose non si mettono bene per i due piccioncini che dovranno difendere il loro anonimato come membri della Yakuza e anche l’adolescenza di Isaku.
Piccolo bonus del passato della madre di Isaku e sul fu Wakagashira del terzo boss del clan Senegaki😉

Lei e il suo cane da guardia è un manga che mi ha conquistata dal primo capitolo. Non riuscivo a smettere di leggere: tutto, dai personaggi alla loro dinamica, è adorabile e super coinvolgente!
La protagonista, Isaku, è dolce e determinata e il suo rapporto con Keiya, il suo “cane da guardia”, è semplicemente meraviglioso. La chimica tra i due è ciò che amo maggiormente: tensione, complicità, momenti dolci e romantici, tutto reso con delicatezza e cura. Ho adorato la rappresentazione teatrale di Romeo e Giulietta e, senza dubbio, ciò che rende questo manga così bello è l'attenzione che Keiya dona costantemente e esclusivamente ad Isaku: Keiya è gelosissimo e possessivo nel modo giusto, e adoro come la protegge e interagisce con lei con dolcezza e premura. Niente è più importante di lei ai suoi occhi.
L’age gap tra i protagonisti è un filino discutibile, ma onestamente… è un manga. Leggo tante recensioni critiche sull'argomento (in generale sia per i libri che per i manga) ed è davvero semplice: leggete la trama, informatevi sui triggers, se non fa per voi andate avanti. Non vale davvero la pena creare un polverone sul nulla e soffermarcisi così tanto. La storia riesce a essere emozionante, divertente e tenera allo stesso tempo e non stiamo certo parlando di due bambini!
Detto questo, il nonno di Isaku (con il suoi gattoni) è assolutamente iconico: capo del clan yakuza, è presente nei momenti giusti, aggiunge leggerezza alla storia e la rende molto più divertente!
L’arte è pulita, espressiva e cattura perfettamente le emozioni dei personaggi: dai gesti teneri alle scene romantiche ogni personaggio ha la sua funzione e contribuisce alla trama senza mai essere superfluo. Ma poi, dobbiamo parlare di quanto siano belle le copertine? E' la prima cosa che ha colto la mia attenzione in libreria!
Non vedo l’ora che l’autrice continui la serie!
