Loved It!!

Loved Mischief! What an adorable little minx. You knew how this story was going to turn out from the beginning but it was a delightful ride. The sisters were supportive, and what love story has two disapproving, insensitive and interfering
Mothers!? Love conquers all. THE END.

Some evil people

Some of the folks in this book are truly evil. Some are just stuck up. Some don't seem to have a very good idea of what is right and what is wrong. Our couple and their friends seem to be the only nice people

cute but predictable

The fist few chapters really moved along, were inventive and drew out emotions. Then it all started fading until the language was more stilted and unoriginal. It seems that two different authors wrote this. It was still a nice book.

Fake Courtship

Can't say I cared much for this trite bit of fiction. Mistakes were numerous and I never did figure out what time period it was supposed have taken place in.

Juveniles might like to read it.

Sigh, it started so well and then was just boring and formulaic. I should know better than to read yet another fake courtship story.

Like most stories about fake courtships, this one starts out with her trying to avoid a match made for her and him trying to get away from the pressure to marry. As they get to know one another, feeling change. I did enjoy the heroine’s cat’s antics. It was a good read.
