Let's just hit the ground running here...
Mel's husband, Nate, planned a vacation for the two of them at a k!nk resort. They wanted to explore the things they liked, didn't like, and everything in between. What they also discovered is that they wanted to explore this relationship with more permanent people, so why wouldn't their best friends, Wyatt and Alex, be their first pick? Wellll because neither couple has ever crossed that line before. That is until they all have a get-together and discuss Mel and Nate's vacation.
And let me tell you this - the spice 🫠🥵 like I can't even wrap my head around all of this! It's hott. Amazing. And it makes me want to jump into this story to live out these fantasies 🫣

I was more curious than anything as I usually don’t read RH or why choose but most of these were so ridiculous that I just couldn’t get into them and the few I could read, I kept asking myself why the girl was even there. So I’m choosing not to rate this because it wouldn’t be fair to the authors.

Ames Mills broke me in this short 7 chapter sneak peak into sNow Place I'd Rather Be portion of this anthology. Holy hotness, baby boy!!!
The spice is off the charts but that aside this heart wrenching tidbit had me hot under the color and in tears by the last page. Dean, Tate, Miles, and Everly's snowed in weekend reunites Dean and Miles in a chance meeting. They were friends but since Miles was leaving for college and didn't know how to deal with let alone understand his feelings.
This is a MM, MF, MMFM, and any other combination you can think of as a combination where 2 couples who are secure in their relationships also acknowledge there are more ways than one to find happiness and I can't wait until their story is told completely.

I absolutely loved it! Everly was the perfect woman and so willing to fulfill Miles’ desires. Miles and Dean got to reconnect in the sexiest way 🥵🥵 I am so happy that we will get to see this story continue because the end had me so anxious to see what happens next!

Guys, Ames Mills can do no wrong. I got to read sNOw Place I’d Rather Be as part of her ARC team. When I tell you I need more from Miles, Everly, Dean and Tate, that’s an understatement.
Everly wins the Most Supportive Girlfriend Award for sure!! The way she is so encouraging with Miles about his sexuality and how she is so secure in their relationship and in herself to be able to let him explore. I definitely need more group scenes with these four! Ames definitely teased us with the DP line. This is most definitely a must read!!

The Holiday Fix by Nicole Banks

We get to catch up with a character that we have previously met from the Sins series. Diandra, or Dee for short, is on her way to see her mum for Christmas. Along the way she has to stop off at a cabin that she knows all too well because the weather is getting really bad with the snow. Can being snowed in at the cabin help to mend her relationships?
This is short, fun and packed with heat. I wouldn't expect anything less from Nicole! I enjoyed catching up with this character. It might be cold outside, but this book will certainly get you hot and bothered ❄️🔥✨

This story had me completely hooked from the start. The witty FMC, among other things, had me cackling. Usually, I am pretty good at holding my pokerface while reading in public... this one had me failing miserably, and I loved every second of it!
Eloise came with the perfect amount of witty and sassy personality. This held a second chance with friends to enemies to lovers. This is an RH with MM, 'good boy', and begging. All 3 men had me drooling and fully worked up. Definitely recommend and will be searching up other works by this author!

I've been an arc reader for Ames Mills for a while now as everything she has ever written has been absolutely amazing and her anthology 'Snow place I'd rather Be' certainly didn't disappoint! Everly, Miles, Tate, and Dean are the start of positive perfection, and I can't wait for the full length version to be released. There's love, relationships, and Ames level spice a plenty. Thoroughly enjoyed!!!

Okay so first off, the audacity that Nicole has to leave this at novella length🫠😆
I need more of these four. Yes, you read that right. FOUR. Y’all know I love a good MFM, and Nicole wrote one of my all time favorites, Allure, but this MFFM😮💨😈 It’s a whole other level of hot and I’m absolutely here for it! I felt like I was literally in the this story- one of the characters, or at least seeing it firsthand. But seriously, Nicole, I can guarantee I’m not the only one that will say we need an extended version of Dante, Mya, Gio and Diandra 🔥

Oh wow, if you are only going to buy one colour of this anthology collection, let it be blue! My top reads in the collection: Snow Place I’d Rather Be by Ames Mills, High Stakes Christmas by Casiddie Williams, and STORM by S.E. Green. All of them left me wanting so much more! All the stories in these anthologies are why choose books and all these stories I noted I cannot stop thinking about. All of them end on a cliff hanger (Casiddie’s not too cliffy but forsure leaves us needing so much more) which is heart wrenching because there is no set dates for the books that follow up with these stories so this will be with great strength, I patiently wait. Honestly, these are for a great cause and I’m sure all these stories are great - these are just my favs so make sure you read these ones first!

A super cute, super spicy, snowed in second chance RH with a bi-sexual awakening.
Miles and Evelyn end up stuck in a snow bank on their way to a romantic getaway weekend. Who shows up to help get them out, Miles’s old flame, Dean, now the in cop in this small town. The roads are shutting down because of the weather, so Dean invites Miles and Evelyn to stay with him and his boyfriend Tate until the weather clears. And what else is there to do when you’re all snowed in together? 😉
I can’t wait to read the rest of their story!!

This was a super short and sweet holiday-esque Novella. Not specifically Christmas, but definitely those kinds of vibes.
Sex in the first chapter is an Ames classic move, this started on like page 4 or something? So definitely fits with the usual narrative!
To sum this up with 3 words; short, sweet and smutty.
A couple of the kinks weren't quite my thing, but still a great read!

I got to arc read sNOw place I’d rather be by Ames Mills and let me say I feel in love with all the characters. Once again Ames wrote a book that I couldn’t put down. I can’t wait for the full book to come out. I can’t wait to see what she comes up with next.

Hollie had her heart broken by Corbin's twin brother. What better way to get even then with Corbin and his friends, Corbin, Dallas, and Beckett.
This group shared quite the steamy scenes with each other. Yet, I could feel that their love for Hollie ran deeper than just s#x. Warning, there is a cliffhanger ending. I need more and to know what happens. Guess I will just have to read the next book to see what how it all ends. .

This story is more on the emotional and sweeter side. However, that does not mean there aren't a few steamy moments shared between the men and Cara
Frost - Bitten by Desire by B.E. Fidler
Kenna is attending her sister's wedding but she gets more than she bargains for when she meets Nate, Kent, Mario, Rudolfo. Who says you can't have some fun sampling the groomsmen before the wedding. Kent had a bit of a humorous side to him. Rudolfo was a bit more refined.
I really enjoyed all of the men to be honest. This short story brought the spice. Just what I wanted. I will me checking out this author's full-length books.

Zoe moved home to take over running the inn and hoping to get the winery going again too. Just before Christmas, three men, Theo, Walker and Easton come to stay at the inn. They are looking for land to build on. Our author loves her plot twist and throws in a lot of emotions too. A great short story.

This story really grabbed me in a very few pages. I experienced so many emotions: anger, disgust, sorrow, wanting to comfort and hope. And then our authors threw a nasty cliffhanger. Dang- how long will I have to wait? Kotah and Aly write so well together and have given us amazing characters.

This story really grabbed me in a very few pages. I experienced so many emotions: anger, disgust, sorrow, wanting to comfort and hope. And then our authors threw a nasty cliffhanger. Dang- how long will I have to wait? Kotah and Aly write so well together and have given us amazing characters.

Amazing Showers In stories.
This is such a wonderful idea for a great cause. With so many different why choose snowed in stories by so many different authors everyone is bound to find a least a few to love. Book three of Snowed In focuses on lighter themed stories
I have three favorite stories in this one
Say it ain't Snow by Aly Beck and Kotah Jean hooked me right from the start . Hollieand her guys create quite a bit of steam when they get trapped at school and wow that cliffhanger. I need the rest of this story
Dallas's First Christmas by Amber Nicole is a novella related to her Forever Changed duet. You don't have read the duet first but it does add to it if you had. Carson and her guys take Dallas away to the mountains for Christmas where they get snowed in. The story does end on a cliffhanger and I can't wait for the rest!
Frozen Inn Love is a super sweet short story by Rachel Callahan. Zoe is trying go get over the loss of her father and keep the family business going. She doesn't really feel like celebrating Christmas but then three sexy business men check in to her in. Can they heal her heart?
There are so many more amazing stories in this book I'm sure that you'll find some new authors to love. I know I have.

I loved Miriam. She is a hardworker, doesn't take crap, and strong.
The author gives us just a bit of information about our characters. Enough to make us curious and then want to learn more.
I can't wait for more of her story. Also, wondering if Ezra will get his wish. 😉

sNOw Place I'd Rather Be by Ames Mills
This short story was everything I needed and wanted from Ames! I absolutely loved that she left it open for a full-length book which I need... NOW.
Everly and Miles are so good together and I loved that Everly was so willing to fulfill her man's fantasy, no judgement whatsoever. She was so excited to give him the space to explore that side of himself. When Miles and Everly are stranded on the side of the road due to the weather, a police car comes to the rescue but it's the last person Miles would've ever expected to see.
Dean and Miles have a history but the lust between them was never acted upon. And then they find themselves snowed in together in Dean and Tate's cabin home. When Tate and Everly conspire to fulfill their hidden desires, a game of truth or dare turns up the heat!
Of course in true Ames fashion, this story left off on a cliffhanger that had me nearly wanting to throw my kindle and message Ames demanding the full length book immediately!

Ames Mills short story - Snow Place I’d Rather Be
The why choose queen strikes again!
Ames Mills just knows how to write a smutty and heartwarming poly book. There’s always loveable and enjoyable characters. All four of these characters were great. Everly is just so open and loving. Miles is sweet and is starting to accept some things about himself. Tate is a spitfire and goes after what he wants. Dean is dominant but has a lot of emotions and a big heart.
Miles and Dean still share a connection years later and finally give into their feelings for one another with their partners present and involved.
The ending tugged at my heart strings and left me wanting to read more of their story. I’m looking forward to their own book. The spice was amazing like always. Everly is a lucky woman 😏 I would reread this over and over again for that group scene alone. This is my favourite why choose short story.

Ms Mills has done it again. Seriously, this woman always writes a great poly relationship story. She produced another amazing Bi-awakening piece involving an established relationship and an old friend.
It was beautiful to see the boys finally get what they want (or daresay what they needed). A great fast-burn, MM/MF/MMF/all the letters read where you just know the emotion is ready to burst forth, too.
This was left open in a way for her to continue down the track - which she has already stated she would do so! - because I absolutely did not get enough of these characters, and want to see all four of them established more and see how their relationships - all aspects of them - develop as time goes on.

I really want to love anthologies, and I do...sort of. I want to read a full novella. I mean, it doesn't need in-depth character development because it's not long enough for that, but I'd like the story to end. At least an HFN ftlog.
So many of these novellas end in what feels like the middle of the story, which would be great if there was a follow up book waiting. Or even the promise of a follow up. You know, "For their full story click here" kind of thing. But to just end, and then nothing? I'm not a fan. Of course, I now have a book full of marks indicating the stories I need to follow up on in the coming months, but I'm not happy about it. Luckily, there were some HFNs, and even a few fully completed stories
I light of that, these stories were really fantastic overall. Short and very spicy. I also enjoyed the combination of light and dark stories. RH/Why Choose is really a top trope for me, so that gave this anthology an automatic win, despite my need for closure.
(There was at least one I skipped based on it involving a pre-established relationship that I didn't want to spoil if I choose to read the initial book. And I'm going to remain bitter about the cliffhangers with no end in sight.)

I read Snow Place I’d Rather Be, a short Ames Mills’ story, as part of the Snowed In: Volume 3 why choose anthology. As is with every Ames Mills’ story, it was amazing. The openness and honesty in Everly’s and Miles’ relationship was enviable. The loving relationship and respect between Dean and Tate was admirable. And the chemistry between Everly and Tate, and Dean and Miles was delicious!! It left me wanting more. I really hope Ames Mills makes a full novel out of this short story.
When Everly and Miles’ car get stuck in the snow while traveling to a winter getaway, they get rescued by non-other than Dean, Miles’ friend from his teen years and the one who woke up some feelings in him that he could not understand at the time. Getting snowed in while in Dean’s and Tate’s cabin, old feelings and new explorations reignite a spark that will end up in fireworks.

I’m in love. I’m obsessed. I’m severely hurt from the rest of my life! What!
First of all, in terms of a spicy short story this was absolutely a 20/10🥵
Miles and Everly just wanted a secluded getaway for the holidays, until they become stranded. Thankfully, their savior comes, and is none other than the man Miles could never have. Dean.
Dean brings Miles and Ev back to his cabin as there’s no way they’re making it out of the snow anytime soon. What follows can only be described as the hottest vacation ever.
After talking his feelings through with Everly, Miles is ready to try out something he’d always wanted. After Dean opens up to Tate, Everly and Tate being the evil geniuses they are set all the ✨magic✨ into motion.
Everything seems perfect until the snow clears and our duos ultimately part ways… For now?
