My first read by this author and I truly enjoyed. I like a story with some suspense, mystery, and a little drama.
Saxon had that sexy swag and dangerous, mysterious, and careful demeanor.
If Lovie was nothing else, she was smart, creative, intelligent, confident, and ready to make a name for herself in the publicist business.

They both had their doubts and walls up guarding their hearts on the matter of love. Saxon, with that devious of a devil ex-wife, who he later found out was worse than he thought.

The heart wants what the heart wants. These two found a way back to each other, and it wasn't exactly pretty.

Lovie and Saxon

Saxon, owner of The Book Barrel, a bookstore and bourbon bar was living his life peacefully and here comes Lovie. Igniting something within the ‘grumpy’ owner. I enjoyed their story. It had the perfect touch of love, drama and angst. The characters and story are well developed. Recommend

cute but predictable

Nice quick read. Some of the behaviors for the head female character were too unrealistic for her role. Storyline too easy to figure out.
