Great Read
I have to be brutally honest. I gave this book three stars because there were multiple grammatical errors. The storyline and character development is great but the multiple errors took away from thoroughly enjoying it. There also should've been a trigger warning in the beginning because there are plenty of women who love to read and may be triggered by the abuse in this book. I tried my best to have sympathy for Beauty but she have to take accountability for her part. When you constantly accept a man excuses, narcisissism, and disrespect. You're allowing it. Benji showed red flags from the beginning. His abusive, aggressive, controlling and possessive behavior was all there for Beauty to see. Their first conversation after they had sex. Should've had Beauty running but curiosity got the best of her. They didn't know each other that long when the first disrespect and hit happened. That was Beauty way out but she allowed Benji to slither his way back in. From then on the verbal, mental, physical as well as sexual abuse became more frequent. Benji was a wolf in sheep clothing and a snake with the gift of gab. He was manipulative and good at pointing his fingers by blaming other's for his actions. He didn't have a faithful bone in his body. Denah and Porsha is sickening to me. The both knew Benji had a woman and didn't give a damn but he didn't either. The way they disrespected and degraded themselves just to have a piece of him was astonishing. I believe Denah will be the bad seed Benji has sown because she's obsessed with him. I love Geena. She's Beauty best friend and can't stand Benji but she supports Beauty and have her back. If Geena knew how deep the abuse Beauty is suffering from. I don't see it ending well. I was done when Benji disrespected Beauty mother. That fool is seriously ill. I believe Robert when he told Beauty that Benji stepped on his toes with her. Beauty don't even realized that Benji purposely got her pregnant and she made a huge mistake marrying him. Benji is unhinged. The way this ended. I'm not surprised she caught Benji with a woman but I know his phychotic ass won't make it easy for her to walk away from their marriage since Beauty had his daughter.

Self Love Activated
This book brought out all the emotions, had me screaming at the book and all. Tela wrote this story!!! I'm calling Beauty all types of names then realized I've been Beauty before. I love Geena that's a pitbull in a skirt , I wish my friends rode like her ( I'm the rider). Benjie better be diagnosed with something in Part II because that demon definitely has some type of mental defect. I want Robert to be the step daddy anyway. Tela part 2 me please. I can't wait to discuss this book with you in your Book Club " The Reader's Lounge ".

Amazing!
I read this book within a matter of hours!! I couldn't put it down! Benjie was absolutely horrible! I wish Beauty would've left him long ago before she said I do! She gave him too many chances! Robert seems like he's really interested in her. Genna is my girl! Pull out the pew pew! Lol. She is a rider for real.

This book here will have you talking to yourself lol. I was so mad and calling Beauty stupid until I remembered I too was once Beauty. I can't wait to see what Book 2 is going to reveal. I hope Beauty leaves and after healing, her and Robert get together

Oh lord! I really didn’t want Beauty to get with that fool. For the abuse she was getting, ignoring the red flags. I know I know there is a part 2 coming. Benjie was a sick fool. Mama and Genna wasn’t nothing to play with.

Reading this book had my emotions all over the place, as some of it was so familiar, the author did a phenomenal job writing this story and I am downloading the second part immediately

These to be continued are driving me crazy. Benji is crazy and I want to know why he has these triggers. I am afraid for the wife and baby. Can't wait to see what happens in the end. This writer has been through something.

OMG I cannot believe Beauty ignored all those red flags and allowed that man to beat on her, get her pregnant and marry the crazy SOB. I found it hard to fathom everything she allowed to happen to her. Unbelievable. Now she married to the fool and he is not letting her willingly go.

Page Turner
This book was a definite page turner even though I was upset. Beauty seemed like she was all about standing on business but once she got involved with Benjie it was like she became a little scatter brained. Benjie was a player, a narcissist, a manipulator, a cheater and a savage! I loved Geena as a best friend. I did not like Denah, Porscha, or Rameka! I guess part 2 will settle things because I can’t with Beauty!!! It was a great book though!
