Girl, you won't BELIEVE the wild ride Celeste Johnson took me on with this Tuscan fantasy romance - imagine if "Under the Tuscan Sun" had a baby with "The Twilight Zone" and sprinkled it with some good old-fashioned spice! The way she writes about Isabella stumbling through that mysterious portal in her newly inherited villa had me clutching my pearls and canceling my book club just so I could finish it in one sitting. You know how I'm always saying my love life needs some magic? Well, watching Isabella navigate between two gorgeous Italian men (one from each timeline!) while trying to figure out which reality she belongs in was exactly the escape I needed from my own dating scene in Brooklyn. The descriptions of Tuscany are so vivid I swear I gained five pounds just reading about all that pasta and wine, though honestly, it was worth every imaginary calorie. Listen, I know your schedule is crazy with the grandkids, but trust me - grab a glass of Chianti and dive into this one because it's the perfect blend of "take me away from here" and "oh no she didn't!" The only thing missing was a magical portal to transport ME to Tuscany, but I guess I'll have to settle for booking that cooking vacation I've been dreaming about instead!

Nice and inspiring read about self-discovery
This is a nice read of a journey of self-discovery. I really enjoyed the adventures in Tuscany, the unexpected twists in the character’s travel and how she connects with the local culture through the story. The descriptions of Tuscany are vivid and spiring, it made me want to visit! I felt the pacing was a bit slow for me, especially in the middle of the book. But it’s still a great read if you are looking for an immersive story of personal growth with Tuscany as the landscape.
