Keeping Receipts was an awesome love story between Liam and Lorraine. The trials and triumphs, praise the lord for all those surrounding them who were praying. Communication is a vital key to any successful relationship. Thanks God for not keeping my receipts.
Keeping Receipts by W Mason Dunn was an exquisite change of pace from my recent reads. I welcomed the love story that developed between Lorraine and Liam. As this was my first venture into books by the author, the infusion of faith throughout was a plus, particularly since it appeared Liam was farther along in his Christian walk than Lorraine. Of course, he had his issues too that sprang into motion at the most inopportune time in their budding romance. Still, I rooted for them to set the trauma of their pasts aside.
Forgiveness and redemption are key tenets of relationships that mature with a rock steady relationship with Christ. Nevertheless, I disliked Lorraine’s father. Dunn did an incredible job in making that easy. Liam’s late father had doted on his sons and paved the path for him to take the helm of the family’s landscaping business. Lorraine disappointed her father once, and now, even as a grown woman, and savvy auditor, she’s still starved for his approval. Just when things seemed predictable, there’s a bombshell that reminded us that appearances can be deceiving.
This was a delightful romance and reminder that God forgives fallible humans. Love needs a fertile ground of forgiveness and openness to grow. Liam and Lorraine must resist yanking out the seedling before they know what it will become. The support cast also had interesting stories I would gladly read in the future.
Author W.Mason Dunn takes her readers on a journey through forgiveness where individuals can reflect on true forgiveness with transparency, Lorraine Davis has a secret so embedded and riddled with a painful memory of how she hurt her beloved Father like a door wedge so tightly Lorriane can’t even trust her in her faith , she even believe that all hope is lost.
Lorraine’s love interest Liam Whittington a smart businessman who pride himself on his knowledge of the Family business , after the death of his beloved Father he too has a secret that is sealed so tight that he doesn’t want to hurt his beloved Mother or entrust his secret to share his truth with his fear of loosing the family business he keeps so dear to him, the two meet on a desperate cry for help will they find comfort from one another or will the two walk a journey alone this story is a beautiful story of forgiveness love and true transparency of how to truly forgive.
Keeping Receipts by award-winning author W. Mason Dunn is very eye-opening! From the first moment I heard her title, I thought, that’s a strange title. As I read the book I came to understand the meaning and I love it, it’s very fitting! This is a beautiful story about unforgiveness, then forgiveness and letting go. It’s a beautiful love story about sometimes loving someone enough to make the ultimate sacrifice. I love the characters, they’re so realistic. You’re going to love this story and I definitely recommend it.
A well written story of Lorraine and Liam's journey of love and faith. Their journey was so relatable. Issues came up along the journey that propelled them to higher levels. They had more in common than they realized. That made their journey unique. The issue of salvation, redemption forgiveness, adoption, confidence and self worth were constant themes experienced throughout the storyline. I truly enjoyed this sweet romance intertwined with faith.
What a wonderful and beautiful story of love, second chances, forgiveness, redemption, understanding, relationships and yes…how to deal with keeping those receipts!!

This was my first read by this author and I can say, I look forward to reading more. Liam and Lorraine's story reflected how easy it is to make assumptions and jump to the wrong conclusion. And holding on to the past, while missing the blessing right in front of you.
Childhood mental scars from the past have Lorraine Davis and Liam Whittington Leary of life. An over heard conversation and a job assignment set their life on a different path. Can they forgive the mistakes of the pass? Is there a chance for happiness?
I enjoyed this story about healing, forgiveness, drawing closer to God and romance.
The characters are well developed, storyline is outstanding and it is well written. This was my first read from this author. Looking forward to reading more of her work.
A quick enjoyable read of two navigating life and love. The one thing that was memorable is that Liam W wanted a wife. He’s not looking for a one nighter or a long term girlfriend-he wants a wife. Lorraine just a bit unsure what she wants. Perhaps peace and knowing she has pleased her parents. These two crossed paths on a work site and she had up defenses that was extremely hard to knock down, while he on the other hand picked her as the one on day one. But the road to a relationship was not easy. Past trauma impacted them both.
I enjoyed reading this cute love story and was rooting for Liam and Lorraine. There was enough drama to keep the story line moving. Nice Christian fiction.
This was a beautiful and powerful story. I love how love, compassion and forgiveness are woven into this story. There are powerful lessons in these pages. Bravo!
