This book was a quick and easy read that still managed to teach me a lot. I’m about to move out of home to pursue something big and better for myself elsewhere and since finding out that the chance I had taken paid off, I had been terrified but this book has helped me come to terms with the fact that it is what’s best for me and my future and I need to take life one step at a time and be proud of myself for how far I’ve come. Thankyou Adriana Carrig for also proving that I’ll never have to choose between being a CEO and a mother because it’s possible to do it all with balance.

I am a huge fan of Little Words Project- their bracelets and their kindness mission. This book was one I finished so quickly. I loved the positivity, the advocacy for self-love and the advocacy for gratitude, confidence and motivation to never give up on your dreams. I’m so happy to see this brand continue to succeed and consistently improve. It’s an wonderful message- JUST BE NICE!

Words hold power. We're all aware of this. We've all been taught this fact. Probably for many, on countless occasions. However, at times, it's something we may casually forget.

That's where 'The Power of Little Words' comes in handy. This little book of positivity encapsulates everything you need to hear to feel that quick surge of energy and inspiration and in just over 120 pages as well. Sometimes less is more. Am I right?

Adriana Carrig, the author, shares insights from her personal and professional life, including lessons learned from her school days, marriage, and the growth of her brand, the Little Words Project.

Throughout this short book we find out about the overall set up of Carrigs business, the setbacks she faced and how even through moments of difficulty, she tried maintaining this positive outlook.

It was a pleasure reading Adriana's words. She writes like she's talking to the reader. In a sense it reminded me of a blog post format. The pacing was very quick and my interest was captured from the beginning. Exactly what you want.

In fact, despite it's minuscule demeanour, I'd say this book definitely packed a heavy punch when it came to knowledge and understanding of the business world. Carrig comes across as humble and someone you could easily be friends with and want to chat with further. That to me made this a much easier read. That personal connection truly enhanced the reading experience.

The only thing that has kept me from making this book a 5 star read was a section where I couldn't fully agree with one of the thought processes. That's not to say it is wrong or wouldn't be right for someone else. It just wouldn't be the way for me based on what I believe. I respect it regardless and I always admire other perspectives and view points.

A genuine breath of fresh air. As mentioned, I would be keen to engage in deeper conversation with Adriana. I would love to pick her brain further on everything she spoke on. I'm interested in finding out more about the business itself and where she sees it going in the future. Call me nosy, but now I've read about it, I really want to know.

If you're looking for a quick read to keep you motivated, this is the one for you. Make sure to check it out and let me know your thoughts if you do.

Also, thank you to Netgalley for allowing me to read this book in return for my honest review.

What a positive, uplifting, powerful read!

Adriana Carrig is an entrepreneur who had an idea and a dream and wouldn't give up on either one. In The Power of Little Words: How One Kind Word Can Change Everything she shares her inspiring story based on the tenets of self-love, self-worth, empowerment, and kindness.

I love everything about this book! It is a book to treasure and share. As I read it, I kept adding to a list of loved ones that would enjoy it. A wonderful gift for yourself and others!

My thanks to Rock Point for permitting me to access a DRC of the book via NetGalley. Publication is 9/17/24. All thoughts and opinions expressed in this review are my own and are freely given.

I knew this was going to be your general "think positive, spread love, and sisterhood" idea that still seems to be successful in so many incarnations over the decades. What I hoped it would include was the "personal anecdotes and slice-of-life stories" it touted in the book description so that I would feel a connection to Carrig. Instead, the information is vague and simplistic, the most we learn about is her mother but we only read about her husband twice and her father once. What could have been inspiring feels more like generic feel-good story of a successful daughter of an immigrant that could be selling almost anything not just bracelets to keep and give away to others.

Such an inspirational read!! Perfect way to end Women's Month with the story on Adrianas story on how she started Little Words Project. I love this brand and what it stands for; reading about how she just kept going and wanted to build her business to be adult jewelry is amazing to read that growth. I got a lot of her in this book and so great that she lets you pick words that you need in your life at this moment and there was authentic; she stayed true to herself and what she thought her brand could be - now her company has grown 10 fold. Definitely kill people with kindness. Loved it!

I hoped for something dynamic, as was Adriana Carrig's presentation at Chicago Planner Conference. I hoped for more "little words" and the reason Adriana liked them specifically. Parts of the book touched me, but mostly it felt like it was written because someone told her to pen it, to make money. It's a reaction I cannot fully explain, but despite some personal stories, it felt detached to me. I cut three of the "slogan" pages from The Power of Little Words: How One Kind Word Can Change Everything. Maybe that action redeems the book. Maybe. Hmmm - a bracelet that says "maybe"? Maybe.

This was a fabulous, quick read. It’s filled with inspiration and would make a great coffee table book. I’d never heard of Little Words Project but the four I resonated with the most were: Appreciate, Gratitude, Patience, and Resilience. Thanks to this book, I will be focusing on them more in the coming days/weeks/months. Thanks to NetGalley for the advanced copy in exchange for my honest review – pub day is 9/17/24!

A heartfelt reminder of how far kindness can go.
Adriana Carrig shows us that even the smallest, most thoughtful words can create a ripple effect of connection and healing. Whether you're looking for a little self-affirmation or hoping to lift someone else up, her affirmations shine a light in a world that often feels overwhelming. A beautifully gentle read for anyone who believes-or just needs a reminder-that words really can change everything.

Exactly what I hoped this book would be. Encouraging words with little, very little stories behind each one. Easy read and a perfect reminder of the power of affirmation, the power of words. Thank you to NetGalley and Rockpoint Publishing for the digital arc. This review is my own words and thoughts.

A lovely quick read that everyone should have on their nightstands! Adrianna is such a light and the community she has built with Little Words Project is incredible. I love reading The Power of Little Words and will absolutely continue to keep it by my bedside. Can almost read it as a daily affirmation by picking a word for the day.

Great little coffee table book! A cute quick read spreading positivity and inspiration. This got 3 stars in my opinion as it does feel a little like an advertisement for the authors business which for me, distracted from the purpose of the book (despite how aligned the business is to this books message).

Thank you to Netgalley and the publisher for the ARC

The Power of Little Words is an interesting self-help book centered on the power of certain words. Though I personally did not love the format of each word being centered on a personal experience, it had the potential to be a great guide.

Everyone knows I LOVE my LWP bracelets and honestly this book was the perfect book to read a few chapters every night before bed and hear about the author/CEO’s life experience and also be reminded of the power in words when I need them most.

I didn’t know what to expect from this book, but Adriana really did an amazing thing in such a quick little book. I have never felt so connected with an author in such little time. A very quick read but an impactful one.
