I literally couldn’t put this book down! I’ve neglected the rest of my life as much as I possibly could since I got my hands on it.
The dialogue between Montana and Austin was super cute and just kept getting hotter and hotter 🥵 I also loved both Montana and Austin’s internal dialogues. I’ve never felt so compelled to highlight line after line after line, but the flirty dialogue was so 🔥
It was the perfect meet cute story where they find their perfect person without really looking. Who knew a flat tire at the gym could lead to the perfect book boyfriend?
A few things that make this book a winner for me:
- any book that uses douche canoe as an insult is A+ to me
- I kept saying “just one more chapter” after every chapter
- I couldn’t stop myself from trying to skip ahead and having to go back to make sure I didn’t miss ANYTHING
The one thing I didn’t like about this book? It ended too soon!! I want more, no I NEED more. What happens at the photoshoot? Does Ben actually accept the protection order? What happens on Hendrix and Lexi’s date? How famous is Montana actually? What do Montana’s parents think of her whirlwind romance?
I NEED ANSWERS…. But in the meantime… I’ll BRB just going to read it all again for all the feels 🥰

This was such a sweet and adorable story that it had me literally smiling and giggling the whole way through. And I was seriously blushing like crazy at certain parts!
I instantly fell hopelessly in love with Austin and Montana and their adorable first interaction and each and every interaction after that.
Montana’s a bit down on her luck after leaving her horrible boyfriend and needing to rebuild her life. But fate has a hand in her terrible luck bringing exactly what she needs into her life at exactly the right time.
Austin takes one look at the beauty in front of him and he instantly realizes that she is everything he has ever wanted and needed in his life. And no matter what it takes, he will do everything to make her his!
But nothing is ever easy and there is a lot of little ups and downs for Austin and Montana to get through first.
The banter between all of the characters was hilarious and cute, but the banter between Austin and Montana was utter perfection. Their connection and chemistry was incredible. And OMG does Austin have quite the filthy mouth on him. He could melt the panties off anyone! They both set me on fire with their antics in the gym!

Revenge Body was the most amazing meet cute pallet cleanser for all of you dark romance girlies! Sometimes we just need that light fluffy lab to make our hearts swell! Austin is the absolute best book boyfriend ever!
When Montana's leaves her toxic AF boyfriend, and decides to go to the gym and get her revenge body on she meets Austin who is the ultimate sweetheart guy who would do anything to help his damsel in distress including beating up her toxic ex who is trying to steal her puppy 🐶 just to show he can still control her even after she's left him.
I was here for every minute of this story!! I devoured this book in a day once I sat down and actually started reading it! 💖 As much as I love my dark broody guys, I also love a soft squishy marshmallow guy who isn't afraid to get his hands dirty and save his girl from anyone! This really was a nice meet-cute romance. There are plenty of spicy scenes & a good plot line.
I really liked Montana & Austin.
I detested the ex, Ben.
I adored Audrey & all of her fans. ( I wish she had bitten Ben at some point !)
I'd love to see this turn into a series of standalone novels. I think Hendrix needs his own book!

I was given this book as an ARC read in exchange for a fair and honest review.
This was such a cute book! If you’re ready to dip your toes into the world of spice this is a great place to start! The two main characters have great chemistry. We watch Montana grow throughout the book. It was a delightful read! And not to mention that the cover is SO beautiful and fun!

I really enjoyed this book! It was nice to see Montana find the RIGHT kind of love with Austin. Des did a great job with making their story relatable and realistic when it came to overcoming fears after traumatic and abusive relationships. My hopeless romantic self loves how they found love so unexpectedly. Des did a great job with the POV switches and the spice. If this becomes a series, I would totally binge read the next!

Austin and Montana are the cutest couple ever!! Absolutely devoured this book and it was so hard to put down. Des did amazing and really brought this story home for me. I connected with Montana so much due to what I've been through and this gives me hope. I will recommend this book to everyone.

Gym meet cute! Austin and Montana were everything. She's a spicy author, looking for ideas for her next book, and also trying to pick up the pieces her ex shattered when the relationship ended. Austin is a model and dancer who co-owns the gym and knows someone for every job. That man has connections. He's ready to use everything in his arsenal to protect Montana from her ex, but he can't help falling for her newfound confidence. Who am I kidding? He fell for her the minute he met her. Their journey to get her a kickin' revenge body and new outlook on life brings them closer in every sense. Did I mention there's a spicy fondue scene? 👀 So much love for this story.

This was my first read by Des Sweet. I really enjoyed it and am looking forward to checking out more of her work. I loved the dual POV, I’m a sucker for getting to know everyone’s thoughts. Austin was the perfect book boyfriend, helping Montana have her awesome glow up moment. I loved that he supported her and respected her. So often I feel like I read books where the MMC just bulldozes everything regardless of what the FMC wants. Not here! Austin helps her AND respects her. Can I hear perfect guy? I was so happy to read their story and can’t wait for more!

I love how Montana takes back control of her life after a 3 year toxic relationship with her douchhebag ex. I know she feels like bad luck is following, but destiny has other ideas for her. Her getting a flat tire at her new gym is a blessing in disguise.
Austin is everything that you could ask for in a man. I can understand why Montana is so drawn to him. He is the total package. He is the completely opposite of her loser ex, Ben. I love how he puts him in his place.

I love and can relate to this story.
Montana has confidence problems in herself. She is trying to do better and find herself by joining a gym and losing weight. Austin is the sweetest, kind, caring and sexiest man for Montana. I really enjoyed this steamy romance. Both main characters are so cute. I loved their relationship. I am excited to see what will come next from this author. Definitely recommend this quick hot read.

I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.
I was all set to dive into this book after reading the exciting blurb, but oh boy, did it miss the mark for me. Billed as a "morally gray, kinky gym romance meet-cute," it instead felt more like a rollercoaster ride through Montana's troubling past with her ex. Since I haven't been in that kind of situation, maybe this book just isn't my cup of whiskey.
I just didn’t like any of the characters. Montana goes from one toxic relationship straight into another toxic mess with Austin. His love bombing and constantly calling her "kitten" just feels cringe and gives me the ick. Austin's whole vibe screams 'online Dom' energy (IYKYK).
Scratching my head over the "Revenge Body" title because every guy in the story seems to want her, or suggesting Austin should fuck her pronto!
The spicy/kinky scenes are not that spicy or kinky in my opinion. There’s some semi-public pleasure but it’s over before you can even get into it.
Besides all that, the most frustrating thing about this book - the biggest head-scratcher is the tantalizing build-up to who Montana is as an author

Des Sweet knows how to write a Sweet romance( ;) ), speckled with action and sets you up for more in Revenge Body. The name was a sweet callback and totally different than what I expected going in based on the novel name.
This novel features quick insta-love on both Austin and Montana's parts, but allows the characters ability to grow and evolve into their true selves. Montana's abusive ex tries to wreak havoc on her life, on top of the trauma he's left her with, and Austin, like a true hero, steps in and helps to go toe to toe with him at every turn. Austin falls first, and Montana falls deeper along the way. I loved the heartfelt moments between the two and when Austin speaks of how much his mom meant to him, it was touching. You can tell he is family oriented and Montana and Audrey are a step in the direction of his dreams. Austin is super sweet and loving, though willing to fight for who he loves, which he proves time and time again. I love that Montana continues to blossom into herself and finally gets the chance to be who she is, and I can relate to the feeling of needing to suppress who you are because of those in your life.

Hot, hot, hot. This is a you want to have BoB around so you can play hot.
The two main characters are awesome. Absolutely love their dynamic. He is a model, backup dancer, and unassuming millionaire and she is a broken, fresh out of abusive relationship, and an author.
Their relation goes 0 to 60 in 2 days and I absolutely love it. At first due to her prior relationship there were a bunch of red flags but they weren't really red flags. So much as understanding about an abusive relationship and how to best go about it not to scare her.
The support Montana receives from his family and his best friend is so awesome! It really is. They pitch in from babysitting. Audrey, who is a dog to helping in a court case is just phenomenal..
The sex scenes if you don't like sex, don't pick up this book because it is not for you. This is all SMUT absolutely lovable SMUT.
The only bad thing I have to say is this as I want to know what his reaction is to finding out who she is. It's just sort of a cliff hanger, so I hopefully there's another book or an epilogue that I missed.

I absolutely love Montana! After going through somewhat of the same thing she did with her ex, watching her bloom into the character she is, is amazing!! I’ve never met a character that I related to more than her. Even down to changing her hair color.
The little things that Austin does for her like changing her tire, becoming her personal trainer and helping her out with things makes me hold on to a hope and a prayer that chivalry never dies. It’s honestly something that’s missed dearly!!!!

This is the first book I've read by this author, and is supposed to be quite a bit lighter than her previous books.
Montana is a shadow of her former self after leaving her ex. She's working to get back to herself when she meets Austin.
Austin is recovering after caring for his Mum, who he lost to cancer. Meeting Montana makes him feel again, he's willing to wait while she heals.
I liked Montana's character and the healing journey she goes. Austin's commitment to helping her is pure teddy bear under the tough exterior. The added suspense of the ex who won't take the hint gave extra tension to tge plot.
I'm rating 4* as I would read this author again, but there were just a couple of things that weren't addressed - Austin's background was skimmed over, as with the police involvement and I really wanted to read the reveal scene.

I really enjoyed this quick, fun read about Montana and Austin. It’s labeled as a kinky story, but I didn’t find it to be too kinky at all. It has some spice and a slower burn than I expected but it’s still a good read. A insta-love, he falls first, but is still respectful in the fact that she just got out of a relationship and things are going pretty fast. I didn’t overly like his pet name for her, but it isn’t something that would keep me from enjoying the story. I think the revenge body part is fine, but not a huge factor. The only problem I had with it was when things were going down with the ex and she was invested in Austin she took the time to think about how the ex thought of her body now. Didn’t make sense for me if she was with Austin, who loved her body before and after, but again, that’s just me and didn’t take away from my enjoyment of the rest of the book. Overall, I liked this story and would read more from this author.
