THIS WAS INSANEEEE, but in the best way, I had no idea Mesha Mesh could write like that, and now I'm a fan.
Cobra just wanted to save her dad which landed her into the clutches of Bazz who is batshit crazy, I really wanted to smack him so many times, to be honest with you, but he still had something lovable about him. I know exactly why Cobra fell for him.
Also if you like mafia books this is very much one, right down to the kidnapping trope.
Wow Baz wasn't no joke at all I really enjoyed the chemistry between them .. Just to know that there mom's where best friend back in the day I will say Shelby was loyal to her dad even though he was not with her And I like the banter with King and her and relationship she has with Wiz ...
I hopefully the brothers will find love too I need an update
Who would have known that as a child you had to care for your parents paying for mistakes and issues. When Gaza first encountered Cobra he knew there was something strong about her that keep pulling her to him taking him out of his comfort zone. Bass had been slowly letting that ice around his hear melt away allowing the warmth from her love to cha be him by not too much because he was the boss and couldn't allow anyone to know he was soft.
This was a great read. What started off as a way to keep her father alive even though he didn't appreciate her love she did what any daughter would do. And because of that she found the one truly for her. He was a man with a harden heart he found the one to bring light back into his life. Together they made each other better and brought life into the World
I really rate this book as a 3.5 in MY opinion. It didn’t scream a real don nor Christmas to me. A real don would never let Cobra get away with all the disrespectful shenanigans that Bazz let her get away with. Mistletoes was mentioned but nothing about a Christmas tree nor other presents. I can say that I only enjoyed 1 or 2 books in this series.
I. Love bazz and cobra story, the way they came to meat each other and became a part of each other life is beautiful. I like how bazz mother kola and cobra got along. The way that bazz and cobra show their love for each h other was beautiful. Luck bazz cared enough about her and got her dad the help for his addiction that she was trying to get him.
Mesha Mesh did that. The number of times I laughed out loud is countless. Bazz was a boss, but Cobra showed him. The back and forth between her and Knight was a trip. I need Knight to get a boo.
Love is patience, acceptance, transparency, understanding and transformation. Parents that support you through your childhood through their addictions may not be the best however it’s better than being raised by the system.
This book started off boring for me but I pushed on because I know this author's work. I saw a few hic-ups for a seasoned author. Cobra was just the right person to handle Bazz's heart. Sad Shelly was never located
Mesha did her one with this!! Cobra and Bazz unconventional meeting was the start of an entertaining story, that was captivating and hilarious. Knight needs help. One my favs of this holiday season 2023.
I like Cobra she was riding hard for her dad. Knight and Wiz was crazy. Koa was crazy. His mom I love her even in her condition she was cool. Cobra was determined to save her dad
I enjoyed this story. The two main characters were something else. I'm so glad she stuck with helping her dad despite what happened to her. Good read. I am on to the last book.
It's always a joy to read books written by Mesha Mesh. I love this book. I want more! lol thank you for always making the world disappear when I Crack open one of your books
This book was very entertaining. I love how Bass and Cobra"s relationship grew. I just hope she finds her mother or she pops up soon. We need a story about Wiz and Knight. I love them also. Great Read!
This was kind of an arrangement trope. Cobra was willing to have Bazz child and marry him because her father stole Bazz jewelry. Bazz wanted to have a child because of his Mother’s dementia. It was a good read.
Way too many errors for this to be a Mesha Mesh book. The same paragraphs being repeated is not what I have come to expect. This book seemed rushed with the writing and editing.
Page turner and a great ending to this series I enjoyed every bit. This one was longer and i enjoyed each page and would read all the books over and over again
This was a good book and The story line was everything. There were some small mistakes with double wording but nothing worth not giving this author her points
