USA Today and Wall Street Journal bestselling author Amy Vansant tries to marry off her detectives in this latest installment of the fun, thrilling, twisty Pineapple Port Mysteries!⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ "Good Mysery and Funny, Too - ... sweet, clean and funny. It is a light story with no foul language, no sex, no gore, and almost no violence. The mystery portion is solid with twists, turns, and surprises. It is the array of characters that make this book and this series so perfect. No one is normal. Everyone is half a beat out of step with the world. ... The humor is what makes this series fresh, even after 20 episodes. I actually laughed out loud several times while reading this. My cheeks even ached. This is true humor and not (just) slapstick. Highly recommend!" - Amazon Reader Janet Graham

Pineapple Wedding has to be one of the best books in Amy Vansant's highly entertaining series. The main mystery being tackled by Charlotte and Declan is hilariously balanced by the misadventures of Mariska and Darla. Oddly enough, both storylines involve the barter system and end in the wedding fans have been anxiously awaiting. Well written and tons of fun, this book is definitely a page turner!
OMG WHAT A WONDERFUL BOOK! Number 20 in the series! And I've read them all. This is sort of hard to review without leaving any spoilers, suffice it to say that this zany premise, crazy characters, and tons of snark are just the ticket to a super fun read. Received as an early gift from the authors newsletter, go check that out yourself!
Oh boy! What a fun and wacky adventure this was. I loved every minute. With everything that went on it never got boring but a lot happened and all just to walk down the aisle. Only Charlotte and the gang can get caught up with solving a case on her wedding day. The story is told by Charlotte as she and her husband to be try to solve two cases before the big day and also by Mariska and Darla as they try to help make it special. Laughing, calamity and mischief will ensure. The cases get nicely wrapped up and to be honest I was too busy enjoying myself to try and workout who was behind the murder and mischief. I love the characters and know if I need cheering up they will bring a smile to my face, no matter what they are up to. I can't wait for the next book. Charlotte's new client can't afford to pay her because somebody is try to put her out of business but if she can solve the case in two weeks she can use the venue for her own wedding, free of charge. At the same time a top chief hires Sharlotte Holmes to look into his business partners death and will cater the wedding. With Mariska and Darla handling the dress there is no reason to delaying the big day... Well apart from needing to find a killer and a saboteur but with the team all pitching in it will be a piece of cake but only time will tell if it will be a wedding cake. I was given this free review copy book at my request and have voluntarily left this review.
I've been waiting since the first book for this wedding to happen. Now it is finally - if they can solve some mayhem and murder. Charlotte and Declan are a bit short on cash since the PI business is slow. Now they have a chance for a dream setting for free if they figure out who is causing all the mayhem (goat release was fantastic) at Flamingo Farm. Then a chance for free catering by solving a murder. Mariska and Darla are doing their own wheeling and dealing for a dress and Declan's father is working on the flowers. If each one takes their of their task, the wedding will finally happen and it will be for free. Lots to do in a very short time. The ending is a surprise. Great characters that I have come to know. Waiting for the next mystery to solve. I received an ARC and I am voluntarily reviewing it
Good Mysery and Funny, Too This book is part of a wonderful series that has a very good spin-off. The book could be called a 'cozy' mystery, but that isn't exactly correct. It is sweet, clean and funny. It is a light story with no foul language, no sex, no gore, and almost no violence. The mystery portion is solid with twists, turns, and surprises. It is the array of characters that make this book and this series so perfect. No one is normal. Everyone is half a beat out of step with the world. Our heroine is a twenty-something who grew up in an over-55 community in Florida. She is more comfortable with seniors than people her own age. The humor involved is what makes this series fresh, even after 20 episodes. I actually laughed out loud several times while reading this. My cheeks even ached. This is true humor and not (just) slapstick. Highly reccommend!
This book is part of the Pineapple Port series but it can be read as a standalone. I looked forward to reading this book. It cheered me up immensely! The day is finally coming where Charlotte gets married! They got 2 jobs and instead of getting paid they barter for their services. Not only r they busy with 2 big cases somehow they managed to put their wedding together in 2 weeks! The hilarious part is when Darla and Mariska decide to help with the wedding by bartering themselves. One trade is made then 2,3,4, so many they can’t keep them all straight! This book we get to meet Declan’s dad and learn a bit more about his past! Cormac and Seamus act like their way younger self when they start competing over everything. They add a bit of comic relief! I was so happy to see Shee again! This book has it all humor, drama, suspense and mystery! I highly recommend this book and this series!!
Great series. It takes solving several cases for Charlotte and Declan to reach their wedding day. Family, friends, new customers, all have to fall in line for the event to reach a satisfactory conclusion. Things seems to be conspiring for the wedding to have to be postponed. Marishka, Darla, Frank, Bob, Cormac, Seamus, Blade, and countless others will spring into action to help. Great series. Always interesting and entertaining. Glad I found it almost two years ago. I always recommend reading a series in order. The backstories are great and add to the enjoyment. Pineapple Lies is the first in the series. This is #20.
Loads of favors are being bartered to obtain Charlotte and Declan's wedding. Mariska and Darla are up to all sorts of mischief to secure a wedding dress. The happy couple have two separate cases to solve amidst lies, deception and marauding goats. Chaos and mayhem abound but so does a whole lot of love and support for Charlotte and Declan. Love these characters as they always make you smile.
How could a wedding in Pineapple Port be anything but exciting? Charlotte and Declan get a case from the owmer of a wedding venue who thinks someone is sabotaging the business. Then, they are approached by a partner in the new fab restaurant in town to find the killer of the executive chef. Of course, Darla and Marrissa are envolved for the comic touch. A very entertaining read!
Another fun entry in this long series. Interesting characters, plot twists, dogs, humor, AC- set mainly in a retirement community in Florida, these books are relatively short, but cheap and entertaining. Very well written and edited. I preordered this because, having read them all, I can't wait for more.
This is one of my favorite series. The characters are quirky, the plot moves along at a decent pace and there is plenty of humor and some romance. I highly recommend this book to anyone who likes cozy mysteries. I also highly recommend this entire series. It is free on kindle unlimited.
Charlotte and Declan are asked to investigate the sabotage of the wedding venue and are offered the venue for free. They are also hired to help investigate the recent murder of an executive chef for the catering. Mariska and gang work out trades for the dress. Great reading
This one’s as good as the others in this fun series! Charlotte and Declan have their hands full planning their wedding at the same time they’re working on two cases. But have no fear—Darla and Mariska are working behind the scenes to help out. On second thought, do have fear!
This is a great addition to the series. The storyline was engaging and the mystery kept me guessing. All the unique characters from Pineapple Port were their zany selves and very entertaining. Highly recommend this book.
I received an arc of this book and voluntarily provided a review.
All the Pineapple Port mysteries are a hoot but this one took the wedding cake to top it off! Really enjoyed the wedding planning amidst deals and investigations! Such fun!!!
I enjoyed this addition to the Pineapple series. It had a different plot and the familiar characters were fun to see in action. Doesn’t everyone love a wedding and throw in mystery and it make for a good read!
Charlotte and Declan are asked to work on a case that involves unusual things happening at a local event center. The owner offers to host their wedding for free if they solve the case. Lots of twists and turns in the plot. A great story.
This Series was so good. The plots were always unique and well written. The characters were engaging and very funny. This book had the perfect end to series. I am going to miss all the characters now that it done.
A great summer read! This was the first book I read in the series and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Loveable characters, mystery, romance...and some goats! Grab a copy, pull up a beach towel and Pina colada, and enjoy!
Two week before their wedding, Charlotte and Declan have their hands full of cases. The "family" are working to supply the things needed for the big day.
Another good cozy mystery to add to this series. Pick up this book and enjoy the zany characters and the wild and wacky things that go on. I so enjoy this series!
Pineapple Port never disappoints. All the shenanigans that surround the wedding of Charlotte and Declan are hilarious. This is super fun to read and the wedding is marvelous.
