**Beta team part one is part of a duet and will end on a cliffhanger. It's also a part of the Forest Grove series. The Saviors is book one of the series. It’s a #whychoose/polyamorous romance, meaning the female main character has multiple love interests and does not choose at the end. This book also contains male/male content and relationships. It's intended for audiences 18+. It is a spin-off of the Abbs Valley series and can be read as a stand-alone. Be sure to check the content/trigger warnings at the beginning of the book.

Honestly, I would say this is hands down top 2 of her books to date (the only one better is probably heart of psychos duet).

ANYWAYS, Ames really did the thing this time around. I love love loved how slowly people went into the new dynamics and made sure both parties were ok and happy with the pace.

My favorite aspect of this story is how low key badass Kira is. Also how close Kira and Jason are without being romantically involved. I think it was a nice refreshing take.

Im super curious to see who exactly Ari’s dad is and why he’s such a big deal. I swear if Kane keeps Kira from seeing her men after this, I will fist fight him 😂

not my favourite

I’ve got to say this is one of my least favourite book in this series all the other books they are actually all in a happy love relationship they all find each other attractive but this book well you have 4 men (Ari, Tyler, Keon, Gavin) dating Jason who is gay and dose not find any girl attractive sexually and only keon is dating Kira she’s basically a +1 i mean at the very end of the book thing seem like ari Tyler and gavin
Are starting to go for the group relationship but it really feels like there’s no actual chemistry or attraction between the guys and kira and if there were some it’s manly between keon and kira and the other only are going along with the relationship because they have to and only if Jason is ok with it which again fine communication is key in a relationship but again feels like she shouldn’t even be in the story idk maybe it’s just me I like when There whole world is her …. I love reverse herams and bisexual experiences but were the girl Is the centre of there universe I mean yeah have other relationships with the other men but she is the centre/the gel that brings them together I’ve noticed in the last couple of book in the series the female really is just kinder the +1 of the story the only book I don’t get that feeling from is les and her men I think that’s the only book I really love and would reread and recommend

Overall this book was great, it was definitely one of Ames’ best books!
Not a lot of grammatical errors in compared to her other books.
The spice was absolutely phenomenal, as always🔥
The plot was okay, it picked up towards the end.

I do have a problem with book, something that really irked me😅
No ages are mentioned, it’s so weird.. apparently the ages are mentioned randomly in three other books, so it wasn’t necessary to mention it in this book…

Hate to say it but this is my least favorite book of Ames.
I didn’t like Jason and felt that the mfc was a fifth wheel. I love RH and the h has to be the center. There can be relationships between the guys but they need to circle around her. This wasn’t it.

I feel like I say this with every new crew, but lordy I think these guys are my favorite. I didn’t think it was possible for Caden to be replaced as #1 in my heart, but Tyler just shoved him right off his pedestal and claimed that spot! I love the dynamic of all of the relationships in this book so much. I am so glad that Kira got to join this universe and that we got cameos of Kane and his guys. Overall, this book was so amazing and I cannot wait for part two!!

Woooooow. Let me say this does end in a cliffhanger so please be prepared. But this had me in a grip and I finished it in a day. Ames does a great job writing these books and bringing characters to life. We get the crossovers from Kane and Abbs valley which is awesome. Can’t wait for everyone else to read it!

I’ll start with this pulled me out of my slump with e-books I was having! I was a full on audio girly for about 2 months 😅

Let me just say. I HATE a virginity kink. BUT GUESS WHAT Ames has me begging for more virgins 💀🤣 She did it so WELL!

This was slower and a little more poly than her others (which I eat up because who wants the same book copy & pasted in different font?!) The guys relationships grow beautifully like always 😩 and the way they treat the FMC will have you melting into a puddle 🫠

The SMUT?! I didn’t think there was shocking me anymore Ames but guess what? SHE DID. The fucking “Mama” out of K had me feeling things I didn’t need to be 💀😏

Ames I don’t know how the hell you keep doing it but you’re DOING the damn thing 🧎🏻‍♀️ Thank you for giving me the opportunity to beta read for you 🥹 Love you beyond words!!

Everything Ames writes is perfection, even though she insists on leaving us with unbearably stressful cliffhangers in every duet 🤣 already can’t wait for book 2 and to hopefully have my heart pieced back together.
I love Kira and these amazing men so much. And her platonic friendship with Jason is so special 💕
Not that I could choose, but Keon just may have my heart.

The Queen of cliffhangers is back at it, with part one to the Beta team of the Saviors. As always when it comes to Ames, this is a 10/10. Somehow she always gets you hooked right from the beginning. I’ve been looking forward to this book since meeting Ari and his crew, and I think Kira and Jason were the perfect addition to bring this group together. I can’t wait for part two!!

This is a fun read – very high on the smut-to-plot ratio. There’s drama, danger, and suspense that ratchets up to that killer of a cliffhanger ending. Ames is known as the Queen of Multipeen and she delivers all the sword crossing we could want.

I might be in the minority in this, but I felt the FMC, Kira, didn’t add much to the story. I would have been 100% content with this being a MM+ relationship (similar to how For the Love of Kane is MMMM).

This is a mixed-burn and spicy poly romance with MM and MF pairings, MM bi-awakening, and group play.

Beta Team ends at a significant cliffhanger. I will be looking forward to seeing how the story ends.

NB: While this duet may be read as a standalone, I would recommend reading the earlier books in the Forest Grove and Abbs Valley series. I felt that I was missing significant character backgrounds and plot points.

Okay Jason we get it, Kira doesn’t turn you on because she’s a girl. Oh my god. If I had to hear that one more time I was going to lose my mind. Interesting tho that this is the first person in all of the harems to not be with the girl too. Ames is switching shit up. I’ll read part two because I have to know what’s going to happen to Ari and his team! Always a cliffhanger. I do wonder tho who she will write a story about next.

I’ve been waiting for Ari and his crew and this did not disappoint!! Ames is amazing at leaving you wanting more and that cliffy was intense! I love Kira and Jason with this crew so much and they’re a perfect fit. I can’t wait for the second part and I’m so looking forward to their happily ever after!

Cringefest at most of the times, but if you don't take the book seriously and just go with the flow, it kind of gets okay.
The 3 stars are for Keon and Kira. They were sweet together. I liked their relationship. Jason and Kira's friendship....and the famous girls chat group.

Once again, nicknames were so cringy, I just couldn't. I had to skip reading some of the parts. Also, I know this is suppose to be poly relationship. But, is it necessary that everybody has to be with everybody else? Ari and Jason make sense, although Ari isn't my favorite character. Tyler and Gavin, yeah I can see how they have a connection, which is why I think the author should've explored them together for longer time before getting anyone else involved. Keon and Kira, I already told I liked them. But the rest? Ari and Kira? Where did that come from? Were they even attracted to each other? We read no thoughts of such and then all of sudden they're kissing and doing other stuffs.

I feel like the author has this same set 5-6 character sketches for the MMCs and she just rinse, repeats, replaces the names and a little bit of their backgrounds, but they're all pretty much the same types in every group of this series..... There is always someone like Gage, Caden, Mateo......Tyler. There is always one ásshole over-the-top dominant types. Anyways, I wish she wrote something different once in a while.

I finished reading this book 3 days ago - I am still not ok! The emotional rollercoaster that is an Ames Mills part 1 - is such a wild ride. I know that Part 1 means there will be a cliffie - and I willingly throw myself off that ledge because DAAAAAAMMMNNNN!!! Only for Ames will I dive in knowing that a cliffie is coming because I know that she's got me. And I'm 🙏🙏 that she does again 🤞🤞

I am absolutely loving this group - it's a different dynamic than the other books and I AM HERE FOR IT!! I am obsessed with Kira. There is just something super badass about her quiet strength and I know she's been through it.

As someone who has read all of Ames books - seeing all my besties from other books - and hello Daddy Kan - OH EM GEE - *sigh* I just love this world that Ames is building.

And I'm once again sucked back into Ames world. For the past few months I've been wanting to do a reread of Abbs Valley series and when this pretty dropped in my kindle I was the most excited! And yes I will be doing a reread, because I need to reread everyone's story! But let's talk about this books!

First of all, I need the next installment yesterday! This cliffhanger is absolutely unfair and not even knowing when the next book comes out is even more unfair! We've all wanted to know Ari's story and its finally here! and damn what a story it is. I enjoyed it immensely, but I think for now I'm a bit not sure about all the couples. Don't get me wrong I loved everyone, but inclusion of Kira into the story was great was also seems a bit forced. Trust me her parts in the book are on of my favourites, but at the same time it seemed as if she was added there just to balance out the couples in the beginning (before the all out meat fest will start!).

The plot is just starting to pick up and as usual there are so many secrets needing to uncover that i was on pins and needles throughout the book! and as usual spice was perfection! I'm a bit sad we don't have anyone with a jewelry but hey, maybe someone will get something in the next book!

Overall, this was a great story, and I can't wait to read the next book.

Ames never ceases to amaze me with her writing! We first met Ari, Keon, Tyler, Jason, and Gavin (well we meet him earlier, but still) in The Saviors pt 1. I knew the moment I met Ari he needed his own book and boy this did not disappoint! The angst is there, the dominance is there, the sassiness is there, throw Kira into the mix (yes, Kane’s baby sis!) and it’s a book full of giggles, hot guys, bad a&$ woman, and lots of sexy time 😏

We watch as the guys protect Kira around the clock as she attends a community college in Forest Grove under a false surname so Kane’s enemies will hopefully stay away. What they find is extremely unexpected, especially for Ari. A mystery man who knows everything about the team. Another mystery man who seems to be overprotective of Kira, does he know who her brother is or what her true identity is? And a surprise visit from Ari’s past. One that truly rattles him.

We end on another cliffhanger in true Ames fashion and leaving the readers ready to go for book two! Oh and we do see some of our faves from the saviors alpha team, one of them is still as bossy as ever 🤭🤭

This is a review for the duet: All of the different relationships did not get adequate or equal page time to develop to the point for me to believe all of these characters were in love and ready for lifetime commitment. This group felt like a relationship of different couples, but not a cohesive group. And poor Kira. She really got pushed to the side in favor of expanding the male romances instead of being an integral love to everyone. Also, someone that has experienced the amount of burns it's stated she had would have ongoing health issues even after they were "healed" -- and none of that happened. The extensiveness of her burns and the badness of the bad guy were both too extreme and I think made the author struggle with this duet. This is also the first duet were one of the men, Jason, was gay and remained so. He did not have a romantic relationship with Kira.

It's also a (bad) choice in 2024/2025 to make 2 of the men Israeli, even if they are the "good guys" in this story, and to make the plot of the story about ousting the bad leaders of the Mossad.

Anytime that I can visit an Ames Mills world, my whole month is made! And Beta Team Part One is no exception to that!

Ames writes some of my favorite RH books EVER and I don’t think that will ever change. I have been waiting for the chance to truly meet Ari’s team and it was absolutely worth the wait!

Watching the dynamic between all of them unfold and how they’ve accepted new people into their dynamic was PERFECTION.

I also loved how we slowly got to see the romantic relationships start to form between everybody. It kind of brought me back to our OG Riches to Riches feel.

And shoutout to these men and how they helped Kira realize that despite her scars she is still a beautiful person both inside and out. I cannot wait to continue to see her begin to accept herself like they all have. It’s going to be beautiful, I just know it!

Every single thing Ames writes I eat it up! I loved it even though I was left on a cliffhanger lol so when is part two coming? :) I loved meeting these guys and really getting to know them. Tyler was my absolute favorite and kept me laughing the whole time especially at his glazed donuts joke! I loved seeing how they all handle and get through the things they see. They all are so patient and loving to Kira which is so sweet of them. I seriously can’t wait for part two and what you have in store for us!

I loved this book so much. I loved Kira, these men and just ahhhhh everything lol

this does end on a cliffy so keep that in mind but trust me you will still want to read it and patiently wait for the next book, just like I am!

I loved Kira in the little sneaks of her that we got to see in FTLOK. She is so strong and so unexpectedly badass. Also her relationship with Jason is so sweet and I loved seeing a Poly relationship where every MMC isn't with the FMC. 🖤

And because this is an Ames Mills book, there is a cliffhanger because that's what she likes to do to us lol

So I know this is like the 10th book in this world and we’ve seen peeks of these characters before but I felt like it dived right in way too quick and we didn’t really get character background in depth so it was hard to connect to them. Especially Kira it was hard to like her or feel anything really when she is kinda just a 5th wheel.

Every time. Ames Mills kills it every single time.

This book dives into Ari and the Beta Team of the Saviors. They are exhausted from mission after mission away from home so Axle gives them a bodyguard job. Who needs protection? None other than Kira Lyubava! She’s desperate for something normal, so she’s trying college, and Kane has put the Saviors in charge of her safety. After her horrific past, these men are so good to her. And there’s Jason, the favorite bar tender, who catches Ari’s attention.

And of course there’s sexual tension, with Kira and with the group. But our biggest mystery is Ari. Who is he? What’s his past?

Somebody’s got a stalker. Somebody is CIA. Somebody wants this team GONE.

This cliffhanger was BRUTAL. Can’t wait to get my hands on the next one!

Fast burn but story suffers because of it

I didnt go in to this with expectations of a world class book, but some character development before getting down and dirty would be better. It just goes to far to fast and i didnt have time to get to know the characters so they were too shallow. The pet names are getting old, between pet names, code names & real names its difficult to keep track of who is speaking, im constantly having to refer back to title page. I know this author loves poly which is my favourite too, but not everyone has to get with everyone. Showing unique relationships within a main group is great, they dont all suddenly need to be involved to make it a good story. I cringed so hard at so many points in this.
