Ash has been accepted to her first ever tennis camp. Although excited- because she loves tennis- Ash is also nervous since she will be the youngest person at camp. Ash faces her fears, makes new friends and grows her confidence in this fun read.

I loved the format of this book - written as a diary, the pages include drawings and ‘photos’ from camp. It get was fun to read, with short chapters (broken down into 15 chapters, one chapter for each day), and would make a great read for any sports fan, child who is anxious about going to camp, or young reader who enjoys friendships and fun. Definitely recommend for readers of the ‘Little Ash’ series.

Barty Party #
First book in series of tennis camp diaries from Barty and some other biddy, who probably actually wrote it, sees not so much of a disaster as normal ups and downs of life events.
The book page number is not listed on this site, because this site is weird but other sources indicate it was 192 pages, including illustrations of course.
Not a terrible read, but not that exciting either.

The moral of the story is about overcoming challenges and valuing teamwork. Ash learns that staying positive, working together, and not letting obstacles discourage her can turn potential disasters into successes.
