Well, another book finished in under 24 hours. No idea what these authors are putting in their books but I ain’t mad.

Dark Choices, not only was the spice was mouth watering but the plot was A+.

Rose, pretty much an Irish mafia princess returned home after 10 years. Michael, the oldest son (just..yup his a twin) next in line to be Don of the Italian mob. What could happen in one night..In a club bathroom? Both lying about who they really are.. chaos!

I have so many questions about so many characters and I’m so damn excited to see where this all goes.

When I say I devoured this, I mean I could not stop reading. The suspense killed me. Rose and Michael share a passionate, one night stand and both of their lives are changed forever after. Rose was such a strong badass FMC. I mean she just keeps getting bad news/event and she takes it like a champ! Michael’s nonstop devotion to finding Rose was precious. I loved that they were so closely connected after one night that they could not let their passion go. This was a lust first, love later but it was so worth it. I loved the ending, I absolutely expected there to be a few more bad guys but I wasn’t too disappointed, it wrapped up nicely. I can’t wait for the next book!

This was really good! This is a dark Mafia standalone in a 3 book interconnected series. This book is full of secrets, twists, turns, and The spice was good as well. Not overly done with good plot.

Please check the trigger warning before reading the book. There are some dark things that happen.

Rose went through hell and back growing up due to something tragic that happened in her family. After 10 years, she comes back only for her Mafia father to try to control her life once again. She rebels for one wild passionate night meeting Michael which sets in motions a domino effect of events. And it's a wild ride with a happy ending!

When i seen the cover for this it caught my eye, after reading the blurb i had to read it. Mafia and its dark. This was a quick read that you could easily read in under a day. It had its spice but didnt take away from the plot. The dual pov's for this worked so well. If you have triggers make sure to check the warnings before going into this book.. i would love to read about enzo

At this point I’m convinced these authors are pumping crack into their books, when I tell you I was hooked from the minute I started this one!!!

Irish mafia princess and soon to be head of the Italian mafia, what could possibly go wrong? These two work together so well, despite lying to each other about who they are to start with. I loved them and couldn’t wait to see how their story progressed. The spice level was good but not in your face and the plot worked out perfectly with a great flow.

I’m glad this is the first book in a series as I need more of this world, fingers crossed the next one is just as good if not better.

Dark Choices

Such a good Mafia romance! This was my first book by this author, and I definitely want to read more. The storyline was well written. There was twists and turns that kept me guessing what would happen next. It’s a fast paced story, but it’s easy to finish in a few hours.

Rose and Michael were great characters and were so deserving of their HEA. Their chemistry was off the charts. You definitely go on an emotional roller coaster with them but it’s so worth it. There’s a ton of great side characters too so I’m excited for future books of theirs if that happens.

Such a fantastic book! Picked it up when I couldn’t sleep at 2 am and just had to finish it. Who needs sleep. The plot twists and turns the whole way had me silently screaming so I wouldn’t wake up the whole house. Love that it’s dark without being too dark too. Definitely a good intro to dark. Beyond excited to read the rest of the series when they come out. I need a Michael and an Enzo in my life.

This is my fav dark romance thus far! I really enjoyed the suspense, banter and character development in this book. The plot was great and all around a good solid read!

I loved everything about this book! the main characters are great and so are the side characters! It’s hard to say more without spoilers. I recommend this read.

My first book by Author @author_k.boozer . This is a must-read for a short, dark, and spicy read. Once you're reading, those pages will eventually start to turn by itself. At one point throughout the book, anxiety was starting to climb out of my eyeballs. Totally recommend!

Wow! I could not put this book down and read the whole thing in a day.

Dark Choices kept me on the edge of my seat and fully invested the entire time. Michael and Rose’s story is like a modern day mafia version of Romeo and Juliet, with more secrecy and spice! There are twists and turns that I never saw coming - which doesn’t happen often!

I am interested how K. Booser can keep this to a trilogy, when she’s introduced us to so many amazing characters. It was refreshing to see that not all love interests were introduced in the main story (iykyk) it’s a nice deviation from the usual set-up. Now I just need to figure out what to read while I wait for book 2..

When I say this book had me in all my feels!!! Rose and Michaels story is one heck of an angst steamy ride.. I literally couldn’t stop reading and the story was perfection.. I immediately was drawn in from the first page. The way these two were immediately drawn together and the chemistry was off the charts. Without giving to much away these two went through it but I honestly hate her dad sooooo much!!! And I love Michaels family and friends.. I can’t wait for more from this author.. she is definitely my one click author now..

I practically devoured this book. I started and finished in a day. The storyline kept me wanting more and I still feel that way!
K.boozers style of writing made it so easy to connect with the characters. I loved Roses' back story. Her feelings toward her family were so relatable.
The side characters were *chefs kiss* I really want an Enzo story 😍

This book is a dark romance , themes of forced marriage , kick your butt female lead character and possessive main make character, star crossed lovers ,secrets and found family .
This book had me at the edge of my seat with what was coming next I did not put this book down until it was done it was just that good .I needed to know how it ended and let me tell you when you think it was all well and good boom it took another crazy turn . This book had me so drawn into it I felt like I was watching a movie . I loved the connection between the main characters and cannot wait for hopefully more from this series .

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ This was my first time reading anything by K. Boozer, and I’m seriously impressed! The writing style and pacing were spot on—this definitely won’t be my last book by this author.

I absolutely loved this story. I was in the perfect headspace, and I devoured it. From the very first page, I was hooked and couldn’t put it down.

Rose and Michael were fantastic main characters. Their chemistry was undeniable, and they had that “soulmate energy” that made every scene between them feel electric. The side characters were also great—each one added something special to the story, and I genuinely loved them all.

Now, Rose’s father? Absolute piece of shit. That’s all I’ll say. 😤

My only gripe is there was no epilogue and I love an epilogue.

Could have been better. The bones of the plot were good, unfortunately the writing was terrible. Very cringey, way too fast paced and just not very good in general. Read like it was pulled straight off wattpad. Also did not like the insta love or surprise pregnancy tropes.

I'd like to start with a couple disclaimers:
1. I haven't read very many mafia romances yet.
2. I've never really been a fan of any kind of pregnancy trope.

With that being said: I thoroughly enjoyed this book! The pacing was spot on, the characters were far from flat, and the spice was well written and not overdone.
The pregnancy trope was not at all tacky in my opinion, and the existence of a child really helped push the plot forward in a way. As a mom myself I could really relate to Rose when it came to her son. Knowing from the beginning that this trope was a huge part of the story probably allowed me to go in with a more open mind.
Man these poor characters, especially Rose, really got dragged through the mud throughout this book. But honestly you have to expect difficult situations, violence, etc out of this genre. The book kept my interest the whole time and I couldn't wait to find out how they keep getting out of sticky situations.
Michael was a dream MMC 🖤 super hot, protective, he fell first, touch her and 💀 vibes to the max. A bit of an anger issue but understandably so and doesn't make excuses for it.
I expected the book to be a little spicier, but that isnt a complaint! It was balanced perfectly with a ton of plot keeping the story moving.
I do wonder about their future but have 2-3 more books about the families that will probably answer my questions. I do wish the epilogue wasn't a pov switch so that some of those questions got answered though.
I had a great time with this one and will probably continue the series the next time the mood reading demands a dark/mafia romance (:

However, the miscommunication trope reared its head, which isn’t my favorite. Despite this, the book concludes with a satisfying happily ever after (HEA), and I'm eagerly anticipating what K. Boozer has in store next.

For fans of dark romance with intense themes and strong characters, "Dark Choices" is a compelling read.

I enjoyed this book, I loved how we started the first chapter with MC Michael. Broading, grumpy, with an edge. You could feel the churning of his darkness as you learn who he is.
Only to be thrown in with the FMC Rose POV in the next chapter. A firecracker, a force of nature who also has a story that comes with pain and hardships.

This is a moderately spicy dark mafia story. The TWs are present, but I didn't find the book cringy or unreadable. I was still plowing through the story quickly.

The back n forth POVs were strong for the majority of this book. There is spice shaken here and there within the story, which I liked.

The authors writing style was fluid up until the last 20%, and then I found it a bit rushed. I wanted a bit more detail, more edge, more GRRRR from certain characters at that point.
Even though I wanted more, that's just me and not necessarily what the author wants to give.

I have several favorite moments, which had me on an emotional rollercoaster. I wiped away tears, I laughed at the banter, I fanned myself with spicy scenes, and I raged. I also fell hard for several characters and hope to see them with their own story.

Not gonna lie, I was sold on the cover and the storyline did not disappoint AT ALL!
K. Boozer knew what they were doing with this Mafia Dark Romance

Rose has gone through some very difficult things in her childhood and was sent away by her father. When she comes back home, she's a whole different person and a FIRECRACKER! I loved her no-nonsense attitude, doing what she wanted to do and not allow her dad to dictate her life.
A night in the club leads to her meeting Michael and the sparks were flying, the story just kept getting better and better. Does Rose get a happy ending after all she had to endure in her childhood or is she going to be forced into an arranged marriage to a man she doesn't' want or tolerate? You'll have to read and find out!

I enjoyed the pace of the book. It kept my interest throughout, especially as the plot thickened and there were more twists around the corner. It did get SPICY, Michael is now my new book boyfriend and I can't wait for the next book in the series to come out!

A friend recommended this one to me and I have yet to dislike any of her recommendations. To me, Dark Choices is a semi dark mafia romance. I say that because while there was a lot of dark aspects, it wasn’t blaring dark dark. But I still loved it all the same and I am excited to continue on with the series as it progresses.

The romance was instant. All it took was one look across a crowded club and it was lust at first sight. And my little insta-love loving heart was here for it. While, the romance was instant, we still get a slowburn that was absolutely worth it. So it will definitely make those who love one or the other happy.

I loved these characters so much. Michael and Rose owned my heart the entire read. But what I loved most was how fierce Rose is. Such a fighter.

This new to me author has a new fan and just so they know, I desperately need more. 5 Stars.

Holy smokes, this was an amazing book! This book is the debut novel for this author and let me tell you it will NOT be the last I read by them! It was THAT good. Now, with that being said, the trigger warnings list is EXTENSIVE. So please read it and be cautious. This is a steamy, complex, forbidden, graphic, mafia story and if these sound right up your alley, you won't regret reading it. The redemption in this story is chefs kiss and the plot is second to none. Boozer, well done. Well done indeed.

This Is a dark romance, so make sure that you read the list of triggers.

Rose didn’t want to go to Miami. Her father hated her and she felt like she was being sentenced to a fate worse than death. She decided to go celebrate her time there and met Michael. Little did she know that one night would change her life. Also, when her dad finds out certain things, all she can think is Michael.

Michael was told he couldn’t have kids. But a one night encounter with Rose leave things in the air. He wants her but she ghosts him. Then a email sends him to find her and maybe change their lives
