As a little girl growing up in North Carolina during the 1840's, Lizzy experiences more than any human soul should ever have to. When a stranger comes to sit beside her in the cotton fields of the plantation she lived and worked on, she receives a revelation of a hope that many slaves prayed for at that time. But to realize it, Lizzy had to tell her story.

“Lizzy” a fast and intense story, ideally read in one sitting. This narrative is incredibly moving. Don’t miss the critical note from the author at the end. Laurie Regan’s gift for storytelling, love for humanity, and wise counsel, shine ever more brightly. Don’t miss her other titles including “Stepping Through the Doorways of the Soul"!

A beautiful, enjoyable reading experience. Short story to read in an hour or so, an important look at life and our views.
