Can an older, successful alpha and a young, spoiled omega be a true match? The Perfect Match Agency says YES!

Gabe has had bad luck with alphas. As a slightly spoiled trust fund omega, he somehow tends to meet the types who end up thinking they can quit their jobs and live with him after their first night together. Does he not know how to pick them? Or is fate intervening until his true mate shows up?

Fated mates are the stuff of legend and romance movies. Gabe’s not sure he believes and is afraid it will never become a reality for him. When a friend tells him about the Perfect Match Agency, Gabe figures it can’t be any worse than what he’s experienced.

Kallen is a successful fashion designer. He’s around omega models every week, their pheromones filling the air. But none of them have ever stirred him in quite the right way. Now in his mid-thirties, he has come to believe there is no true mate out there for him.

When Kallen overhears some models talking about a matchmaking agency called Perfect Match, he investigates online. He discovers so many success stories he decides to give it a try. Within days of applying, he’s matched, but when he sees how young the omega is, he begins to have second thoughts.

MM romance. Matchmaking. Age gap. Fated mates. Alpha rut. Omega heat. Knotting. Mpreg. HEA.

It was fine, didn't grab me like other books in this series have. I do have to say, no one has every been so vivid in their descriptions of mpreg birthing before. It was like a train wreck I couldn't look away from. Kudos on taking that swing, though. I haven't read any other omegaverse that has attempted doing it, so I guess it was bound to happen eventually.

Cute.

This is Rathbone’s third book in the two Perfect Match series and my favorite of the three. It’s extra instalove-y (which is saying a lot for this series) but that’s my weakness and I liked it.

I would’ve gone a different direction with what to do about their wealth, since I’m not a huge fan of rich MCs that hoard money, but that’s my preference. Still cute.

I have read Rathbone books I liked but damn this was poor – especially within this author quintet.

We both came at the same time which was common with us. We were in sync in just about everything private between us. p. 167

Nope.

The MC was unlikeable as hell, I was waiting all the time for there to be a final chat with his parents, who really do just want the best for the son they spoiled, to resolve everything but no they're framed as villains and the MC as perfection. This could have be an AITA post where the MC expects to hear their parents are TA and everyone tells him no in actual fact it's him and then they get pissed and repost in another thread to just hear they exact same thing but it still doesn't go through their thick skull. Am I annoyed even a week later? maybe...
Because, the MC learns absofuckinglutely nothing. He finds an alpha to keep his money because otherwise he'd need to find a career and then a career just falls into his lap!
"To occupy myself while pregnant, I started designing and making simple jewelry. It was bold and shiny and Kallen liked it so much he started having his models wear some of it on the runway. Soon, other designers were asking for soe. Without realizing it, I had started my own small business."

These MCs had the least connection of the books within this series but the MCs had a bond? Like the other characters didn't have bonds?

Gabe Renair (24), trust fund kid
Kallen Orr, alpha (34), fashion designer

First, who wrote the synopsis and did they read the book? I have a real dislike of misleading write-ups like this as it sets everyone up for disappointment. Thankfully enough of the bones of the story remained that it didn't impact my enjoyment of it.

Ultimately this delivered exactly what it promised; a whirlwind alpha/omega romance without too much drama or plot and some spicy sexy times. I've read the previous three books in the series so I pretty much knew what I was in for and as that's what I was in the mood to read this was a satisfying story.

I loved that after their first 'Perfect Match' date it was not Gabe who ended up going into heat unexpectedly and I loved how both Gabe and Kallen embraced the growing bond between them and wished to be worthy of each other, this helped sell the idea that while they had a high degree of compatibility their relationship still required some amount of effort from them to succeed.

The pacing of this book was excellent with the author quickly and clearing establishing the characters and their motivation for signing up with the Perfect Match Agency, their initial meet-up was predictably filled with sexual tension, which leads to some sexy fun times with a twist. As the characters get closer some thoughts about being enough intrude and then there's some family drama after which our couple is stronger than ever and all their collective dreams come true. Nothing is overly complicated or drawn out.

Mistaken/hidden/secret identity is my favourite trope and this story had that sprinkled in with Gabe being an extremely wealthy omega who hid his wealth to a certain extent and concealed his true purpose for signing up with the Perfect Match Agency, which was to no be cut off from his trust fund after his dad's give him the ultimatum to settle down... or else. I wish this had been played up a bit longer/more to make the story more dynamic as it just kinda coasted along until everyone's dreams came true.

The secondary characters were pretty much caricatures and didn't add much to the story, in fact their inclusion left a few things unresolved, especially Gabe's relationship with his fathers and whether they were going to work on repairing things or go no contact. I suspect the mystery guy in Gabe's best friend, Derek's, past will become (or is) a book of its own, but I don't love the teasing of other stories in a standalone like this as a general rule.

I wish we had gotten to see more of Kallen being a successful designer and of Gabe finding his passion and beginning his career rather than the barely there footnote we got in the final (or rather second last) chapter.

Note: The actual story is only 174 pages, with the final 16 pages consisting of the first chapter of the next book in the series and the usual about the author section and bibliography information.

Here's Wendy Rathbone's "Luscious Match." It's the fourth novel in a new multi-author series called "Perfect Match Agency: Springtime."
["Can an older, successful alpha and a young, spoiled omega be a true match?

Within days of applying, he’s matched, but when he sees how young the omega is, he begins to have second thoughts."]

This blurb and Gabe's parents paint him as a selfish, frivolous Paris Hilton/Kim Kardashian type who prefers spending money over spending time with people. Gabe was nottthhhing like that at all. Even if he thought he was (imposer syndrome fucking SUCKS). Having an actual support system will do wonders to your mental health as well as your self esteem.

These two were adorable and perfect. The world literally stopped when they met. It was poetic and beautiful and just Goals.

And I loooove how Wendy has Kallen go into rut instead of Gabe go into heat, because it was still within the stereotypical omega verse timeline of things, but it also flipped that same stereotypical script on its head. It was glorious! And the almost instant bond?! Here for all of that.

Great new addition to the Perfect Match Agency series! I liked how the tables were turned, with the younger omega being far richer than the older alpha. Gabe and Kallen both have different reasons for trying to find a match, but once they meet, they are both equally blown away by the other. Kallen is written unexpectedly vulnerable when he goes through his rut, and I loved that Gabe, even though he is younger, was levelheaded enough and kind enough to care for him and reassure him. Ruts and heats typically make for very steamy scenes, but this aspect brought a lovely emotional intensity to it. Gabe’s parents’ manipulations and the way they love him but also put him down so carelessly at times was awful, but it was great to see Kallen rise to the occasion and be such a source of strength for Gabe. Things move really fast, as they have such a high match percentage, but I feel like their relationship is very well developed and shown to really work.

Gabe is a spoiled trust fund omega, he tends to meet the types who only see dollar signs when they discover he has money but now his fathers have given him an ultimatum - he needs to find a mate quickly so when a friend tells him about the Perfect Match Agency, Gabe figures it can’t be any worse than what he’s experienced. Alpha Kallen is a successful fashion designer and now he is in his mid-thirties, he has come to believe there is no true mate out there for him until he sees a random ad for Perfect Match so he decides to give it a try. Within weeks of applying, he’s matched. It’s an instant connection, but this young omega has a secret that may threaten their fragile new relationship.

This was an enjoyable story with an older alpha and a younger omega who are made for each other. Gabe has kept his motivation for finding a match secret but that was more of a bad thing about his parents than him. Easy to read, feel and understand. This was an MM story with mature content set in the omegaverse with mpreg.

The novel failed to gain stars for this item:

NO STAR gained for: "That's it. I'm hooked on this author. I will automatically try anything she/he/they writes."

Gabe is a “spoiled rich kid” whose fathers give him an ultimatum, get a career or be in a relationship by the end of the year or no ‘extra’ money. Kallen is a busy fashion designer who doesn’t have time to hunt for his perfect partner. Both men sign up on Perfect Match and are paired. They hit it off instantly but Gabe hides his reasons for signing up.

Kallen eventually discovers Gabe’s original motive when his father reveals the secret. Gabe is mortified and runs. Kallen finds him and they talk.

Gabe and Kallen

This is another super sweet entry to the series. Gabe is spoiled rotten but controlled by his parents. Kallen is a successful fashion designer and lonely. When Perfect Match sends their results, they are both excited for different reasons. At least initially. After meeting, it is evident they are fated. How is Gabe to handle the reason he signed up for the match now that he loves the man? Read along as these two form a strong bond very quickly, that is tested when secrets are revealed by Gabe's parents.

This is a sweet and engaging story. I enjoyed meeting Gabe and Kallen. It was nice to see the way their relationship develops. Each man joins Perfect Match for different reasons and has their own past to deal with. It was nice to see the true side of Gabe and see him grow in his own way. Their story is a fast paced one that is full of emotions. Gabe maybe a spoiled brat but there is a good man underneath it all and Kallen might just be the man to realize that. The author weaves a wonderful romance with strong characters that endeared themselves to this reader.

BEAUTIFUL AND SWEET

This is part of PERFECT MATCH AGENCY: SPRINGTIME. It's a Series of Books of Multiple Authors. Each Book can be read as a stand alone BUT C'mon just look at the list. WENDY RATHBONE as always has created a low angst story with BEAUTIFUL men. Gabe the Omega is sweet and misunderstood. Kellan the Alpha doesn't want to continue being alone. I Loved these guys. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS BOOK AND PERFECT MATCH AGENCY SERIES!!!!!!!!!!

From the moment "fated mates" meet, they know they have found their forever person, and that is probably one of my favorite tropes in omegaverse, and why I loved this story so much. Trust fund omega brat Gabe and fashion designer alpha Kallen are two such victims of their own pheromones and chemistry when they are matched by the Perfect Match Agency. Of course, their set of circumstances is unique, and their HEA is not without obstacles. The heat level is off the charts from the outset, and the feels eventually catch up. Don't miss this one!

Enjoyed reading another Perfect Match romance! So many different authors, voices, and plots to get lost in, and I'm here for it! Even with the way Gabe's parents behaved, I still found myself curious & more invested in that relationship, & was a bit disappointed when it was not brought up again. Not terribly, as the MCs were more than enough to satisfy with their swoony-ness, and overall, it was a very enjoyable story. Love the Perfect Match Agency & all the fated mates romance they bring.

Sweet story!

I really enjoyed Gabe and Kallen's story. They were so sweet and romantic together, but also steamy. The pacing is good for a shorter book, and it's written well. I would have liked a bit more closure with Gabe's parents, but I'm still happy with the ending.

Overall, this is a great low-angst, high-heat omegaverse book.

The précis is misleading -- Kallen is all-in with Gabe as soon as they first see each other in person. Any thought of omega models he might work with is brief, and any hesitation on his part due to Gabe's age was crushed very quickly. Also, he mentions several times that he tends to design for large alphas, not petite omegas.

Gane & Kallen

Me encantaron

DNF @55% ... I got bored and moved on 🤷‍♀️ I don't remember anything bothering me in particular, but it just wasn't grabbing me. Now, a week or so after giving up on it, I don't even remember the details of the story. Oh well! I've enjoyed a lot by this author and probably will again. This one was just a miss for me.

Best of the springtime series thus far

No hate to the other books or authors, this one just happens to be my favorite. A perfect blend of spice and plot. Decent backstories for both and it wrapped up nicely. I am curious about Kallen’s work life though, it seems he settled down a bit/traveled less but it was never addressed.

Absolutely fabulous! This is a phenomenal series. I’ve loved every book so far. These two men come from completely different beginnings. They are very “True Mates”. They have wonderful times and a hiccup along the way. A must read!

Pretty good!

It moved kind of fast, with not much storyline! Gabe got on my nerves. He was so immature. Kallen was almost like an omega to me, he was blinded by his sudden feelings for Gabe. Not my favorite, but I'm still loving this series!!

Really liked this one. Low angst and lots of love. Gabe and Kallen were really perfect for each other. Would really have like to read more about Gabe's parents reaction to their courthouse wedding and the birth, as well as Gabe's new business.

Nope. This was a short one and could still be shorter. I kinda felt sorry for Kallen. Didn't like Gabe and his parents were awful. It was very dramatic with the miscommunication. Not for me. So much whine.
