Aria believes that she is an ordinary young lady born into a privileged family. She lives alone with her two cats in a grand house; a home which is left to her by her deceased parents. Unexplainable, mysterious, and unaccountable happenings begin to take place and gradually unfold around her.
And so begins the story of Aria, a character that is so real and likeable you become invested in her life and how all these mysterious happenings will impact her. The story moves at a steady pace introducing us to characters who are going to have a profound effect on Aria's life as she knows it. It opens up the discussion whether we are born with a life path that we follow regardless of our decisions or whether we have more choice in what we become throughout life.
I thoroughly enjoyed this book and am really looking forward to the sequel.
