Being an omega sucks. Luca Collins should know. His pack mistreats him, his dad doesn’t care about him, and bullies make his life hell. Enter Colton Smith, the kind hearted human who befriends Luca. They share a first kiss, a first love, and plan to run away from their little Montana town and start a new life together. But fate has different plans. While Luca is sure Colton’s his mate, that belief is shaken when a group of wolf hunters attack Luca's pack -- a group Colton belongs to. Proof that humans and wolves don’t mix. Alone and brokenhearted, Luca flees town and ends up in the clutches of a sadistic alpha. When they meet again, Colton’s a wolf, and Luca is hiding in a shell, broken into a thousand different pieces from countless abuse. Can they overcome the secrets that tore them apart and find the love they once shared?

This Series has to be read in Order. So, this book should only be read after finishing books #1: Crash and #2: Burn.
This book was heartbreaking, but adorable at the same time...
It tells the story of Luca, who we first meet in Burn.
As in the previous books, we get to see Luca's present and past times, in alternating chapters. There's, also, a Double POV and we see Lots of Axel, Ben, Gage and Quinton.
Luca Collins is an Omega werewolf. The only Omega of his Pack!
As an Omega Luca is looked down upon, he is seen as weak, unworthy and utterly useless.
At 18 years old, Luca is bossed (and bullied) around by the Alphas of his pack, especially by Mike Donald, his peer and the future Alpha of the pack.
The bullying is horrendous... It amounts to actual abuse, even.
But, things brighten up one day, when Luca meets this 'giant'.
Colton Smith is a true knight in shining armor. He tries to help Luca stop the bullying. He's sweet, kind and very protective towards Luca.
No one has ever been as nice to Luca as Colt is...
SO, they become friends... Even if a Friendship between a werewolf and a human might not be the wisest thing.
But Luca can't help it.
Colton is Luca's first true friend; and he treats him like he is worth something; like an equal.
And Luca swoons... 😍
His little heart can't help but have feelings for Colt. They're just there!
BUT, Can a werewolf's mate truly be a human?
How will Colton react if Luca tells him that he is, in fact, a werewolf?
How about Luca's Pack?! How will they react if they find out about Colton?!
And, What if Colton has secrets too?!
In present time, 20-year-old Luca is on his own... Alone.
What happend to Colton?
Will Luca ever find the safety and affection he so longs for?
Read the book to find out ;)

I really liked this book!
The love here was the Sweetest! ♥
These 2 boys are so in Love, and do Everything they can to protect and keep each other safe.
Their love is just fricking Beautiful.
My heart broke a little for Luca. My sweet baby deseved so much more than what he got in his life! He suffered a lot...just for being born as/ being who he was - an Omega.
BUT, Colton was God's gift for Luca! 😍
Kind, strong, determined, protective and supportive Colton is everything Luca needs and deserves.
And that ending was just perfect.👌
Overall, if you're looking for a Sweet gay romance to read with a bit of Feels; you should definitely try this one... I think you'll love it.
Luca, an omega wolf, has been an emotional and physical punching bag for his pack mates his whole life, and his journey is a heartbreaking one. After losing his mate Colton not once, but twice, he's absorbed by an sadistic alphas pack and suffers a tremendous amount of abuse and pain. But Colton is a stubborn man and he never gives up on trying to find Luca so he can finally keep him safe. Watching Colton heal the cracks in Luca`s heart was sweet and they got a great happily ever after.
The plot was interesting and fast-paced and I really enjoyed the story. I skipped the previous book Burn and found I didn't have a problem following along because there was enough rehashing of that storyline in this installment. My main issue was the point of view changes throughout the book. Not only does it change back and forth from past to present, but we get 4 different points of view and there were times when I was almost finished a page before I realised who's I was reading.
Aside from that, this is a recommended read that has me wanting to re-read Axel and Ben's story.
Omega stories are some of my favorites, but this includes a nice twist with the stronger wolf often to having to watch out for his mate from afar. As with the other two stories in this series, the author reveals essential aspects of the characters' background in flashbacks and other revelations sprinkled throughout the novel. Sometimes frustrating, overall I found this approach kept my attention and had me curious to learn more about just what shaped these men as the story moved along.
What a great pair to add to the ensemble of characters in this trilogy. Lucas & Colton drive the story to a great conclusion and give our other characters more people on their side. This house of misfits is the perfect fit for the story and I love each character for their own ability to drive the story forward.
From the fist page in the series to the last I was hooked. Highly recommended!
A scared wolf shifter learns to trust others who want to help, and encounters someone from his past. Typos: steed for stead, wrong character name a couple times (Axel for Mike), every day as one word, who's for whose, apostrophe in plural (hunter's), lay/lie mix ups, vice for vise, to for too, anatomy confusion (wolves don't have arms), worse for worst, holding up for holing up, anyway for any way, comma used where semicolon is needed, reigning for reining, yielded for wielded.
The third book in the Westside Wolf Pack series was an interesting read. The story jumps from past to present multiple times in a single chapter. It makes following the story a little more difficult but the character development is worth the effort. I really like the series.
Luca is pretty much tormented young boy who has been raised to be beneath everyone. He has no friends and even though he's part of pack he's the lowest of the wolves. One day it changes when Colton tries to stop bullies in school, and then they get to know each other. They both have secrets that eventually drives them apart. There's flashbacks which are trying to explain Luca's and Colton's past as well as the present where an alpha named Ben finds Luca alone, starving and almost death, and saves him. Then there's mysterious wolf who keeps his distance while watching over Luca. Past and present collides as they have to face their origins.
A gripping, heartbreaking and fast paced story about Luca who's omega werewolf and Colton who's a human hunter of were-creatures. A story that I devoured during one day because I couldn't stop - I yearned for more, to know they'll be together and okay. All came together nicely, the plot, the character's developement and their journey through difficult times. I'm sucker for flawed, for broken and this one had it all with the promise that everything will be okay. Relationships aren't easy and even though there was all this paranormal stuff (that I adore!) making it a little bit harder, it still was a beautiful story of two boys and their love.
I don't have much to say about Break - not because it lacked anything but I have no right words for it. I devoured it fast which isn't that usual for me as I'm a little bit slow reader. Wolves, flawed and confused characters, secrets and action - for me, it was pretty much perfect summer day book.
It’s very rare that I enjoy the 3rd book in a series as much as I enjoyed this one. Usually I am let down in some way or another but in this instance I felt that Break was as good, if not slightly better, than Crash (book #1) – which I loved.
The emotional elements in this story resonated with me. The constant struggles, reflected in both the past and present storylines, revolving Luca and Colton, were quite powerful and often unsettling. If I’ve learnt anything about werewolf mythology during this series it’s this – It sucks to be an Omega. Luca, the poor little omega wolf, is such a broken, tortured character. I felt more for him than any of the other main leads in this series, which is saying something because they’ve each been through some form of hellish ordeal, or multiple ordeals, which have pulled at my heart strings over the course of this trilogy. I also loved Colton, the friendly giant. These two were almost (almost) as good a couple as Ben & Axel.
Unlike some readers, I don’t have an issue with the way the multiple narratives were woven through the story. I figure, if I can follow along easily enough without questioning whose perspective I’m channelling, then I have no cause for complaint.
Ultimately, I knocked all three books out in three days and I loved every minute of it. I look forward to exploring the works of Perdita further in the future and I, not so secretly, hope that the Westside Wolf Pack series becomes more than just a trilogy!!
I think this is the most painful story so far in the series. Poor Luca. And to a certain extent: Poor Colton. It seemed so tragic that neither one really had any choice in their life until they met each other, Luca because he was born an omega and Colton because he was born to a woman who brainwashed him. I liked the protective role Colton took in his first meeting with Luca and that he never changed. I like seeing Luca come out of his shell and the fact that he was so broken when we must met him in Burn made me want to see why he backslid and just made me hate Dominic more than I did before. Luca and Colton gave Axel and Ben a run as my favourite couple. The only complaints I have is that at 2846 Locations, I doubt this book is 254 pages and it also does not contain real page numbers. I'm going to dismiss my distrustful mind and believe that these representations were genuine errors. Having said all that, the story is fast-paced, well-written, very emotional and so engrossing that I couldn't put it down once I'd started. So, if you've been following the adventures of Axel and Ben as they form their pack, I recommend this latest addition.
This was a nice conclusion to this series. I loved getting to see Axel and Ben again, and I really liked Luca and Colton's relationship, especially the flashbacks to their teenage years. Colton reminded me a bit of the werewolf guy in the Darkest Powers Trilogy. I'm not 100% sure why? besides being huge? Maybe it was his personality. But I really enjoyed this. The writing was a bit... obvious at times, and after reading the master of m/m werewolf novels, R. Cooper, coming back to this series was a bit... ehhh. Like trying to eat chef boyardee as an adult. Like, I mean, it's pretty good, but I don't see why I was so in love with this before.
In this final instalment Axel and Ben's pack grow to include two more wolves. Like the others they have trauma and issues from the past to work through and these issues threaten not only themselves but their new pack. I'm sort of sad that this is the last story, there is room for the pack to grow. I would of also liked a visit from some of Ben's family or to see that there are other packs out there that are not homophobic. This was still a good read though, and the story had reached a good point.
2.5 stars - Even though we got a bit of history on Luca and Colton via flashbacks, it felt as if a lot was left unsaid, especially in present day terms. Also wish the pack felt less new and functionally awkward and more cohesive... But I guess that's a given at this stage of the game. Axel and Ben held the story together for me tho (and I most appreciated the very few Ese's out of Gage's mouth this time).
Luca is so sweet. He is the omega, small and gentle. Most see him as weak and abuse him, both wolf and humans. He deserves to be loved and Colton does just that. Their loyalty to one another is complete and no matter what comes at them they stand together. Luca is not weak, he is a lot like Ben who is strong at heart. This will definitely be one strong pack!
Interesting added dynamics to the pack. My question with these all gay shifter packs is how do they grow other than recruitment. In Burn wasn't there a big deal about the blood being connected to the land (territory)? How often in real life do people only have gay friends anyway? Usually there's a mix.
This one was a marked improvement over the second installation. Dunno why or how, but all the elements finally clicked and this worked. Love this book. I've forgiven the problems with the previous lol
My first wish would be that these were longer, which would give me more details and day to day stuff I feel is missing. But all and all a good series and I enjoyed reading it .
A good ending to the series. I liked how each book in the series had unique characters and a unique plot (at least within the series). Sometimes authors fall into the trap of basically telling the same story over and over again. This series doesn't do that.
What happens when your mate is your worst enemy! A hunter turned werewolf, Colton, and an omega born werewolf, Luca, are about to find out after their journey expands a few years and maybe get a chance to be part of a new pack/family!
