This was so bad lmao. 😭
Everything was messy and without any emotions. The writing style screams 13 year old Wattpad author. There is so much happening in these 100 pages and I got confused because we jump around a lot. They got married quickly and from one sentence to the other they were living together for one whole week? There is literally no tension at all between Nadia and Roman - the sex scenes are bad too (no emotions, no tension, nothing!!). The characters felt flat and bland with no personality at all. A lot of things didn‘t make sense to me and the whole story felt rushed.
So a very bad book and I‘m surprised an author like Luna Mason (I think she‘s famous for her mma fighter books? haven’t read any of them and after this book I don‘t think I will in the future) published something like this? Why publish a book that’s this bad and not finished.
Don‘t read this please. Save your time.

First of the dedication 😮‍💨 second…. HOLY FUUUUCK !!!!! Anything that Luna writes I’m IMMEDIATELY reading 🙂‍↕️🙂‍↕️ ! This was such a hot and fun read ! I managed to ignore everything and finished this book in one sitting… THATS HOW GOOD IT WAS ! I was hooked from the very first page and I’m so sad it’s over I already want more 😂 I absolutely loved Roman and Nina’s relationship and how much he changed and went above and beyond for her 😭 A MAN 🗣️ ! AND DONT EVEN GET ME STARTED ON CHAPTER 12 BECAUSE WHEEW 😮‍💨I WAS ARG ARG ARG ARG the whole time 👅! Definitely one of my favorite scenes !!!! Luna you KILLED it with the MMF scene 🔥 and thank you once again for giving me the opportunity to read this arc ! It was fucking amazing !

This novella may be short but it sure does pack a smutty punch!

I straight DEVOURED this novella! The plot sucked me in! And it had one of my favorite tropes: marriage of convenience. I loved that Nina inherited her father's business and wanted nothing to do with it but Roman did, so how else was he supposed to get it if he didn't marry her? And then to live out one of her fantasies.... I'm weak. That may be one of the hottest things I have ever read.

My only problem? That this story was a novella! Luna! I NEED more! I WANT more! This was too good for it to be so short! I didn't want it to end! So if you guys are looking for a short quick read that will pack a toe curling punch, this is your next read!

This was honestly one of the blandest books I've ever read in my life. Even with it being novella length, it was painful to get through. No actual back story of substance, the characters had like 10% of a personality between them and at that - it was the most cliche traits you could think of.

I really wanted to love this but it was just not the one - I genuinely am confused as to what versions of this the girlys were reading to be throwing five stars out left right and centre.

This one just wasn’t up to par for me.
Don’t get me wrong the spice was there!! I give it like 3.5.

Yes I know this was a novella, but I feel like it could have been put together better, or it could have flourished as a full on book.
All events were just squished/rushed in my opinion. It was good, but I wish it could have been better.

This spicy lil novella will have your heart beating fast and your legs feeling all tingly.

Roman doesn't lose so when he sees Nina he knows just how to get what he wants, what starts as a business contract soon turns into more and this dominant male drops to his knees for his woman more than once. He can't deny the attraction he feels towards Nina and he doesn't want to but mixing business with pleasure comes with feelings attached.

Nina hasn't had it easy and it just seems to be one thing after another for her. After her father's death she had more problems than solutions but then Mr. Petrov seems to appear out of nowhere to 'fix' all her problems with a simple flick of her pen. Nina can't stop her heart from racing whenever he is near but reminding herself that it's simply business keeps getting harder.

Roman shows Nina things she didn't think she was capable of feeling but once that door is open she doesn't want to close it 😏 can Roman and Nina become more than just business or will the attraction be too hard to ignore 👀

WOW OKAY! This is my favourite in the entire anthology. I had been hanging out just waiting for this one and Luna can do no wrong. This was fast paced, spicy, swoony and just everything we needed to tie up this series.

It might be a novella but it packed a serious punch while having everything I love in a mafia romance..
A ruthless mafia man who becomes a total simp for his girl? Check.
A strong heroine who made him work for it. Yes, girl!

Roman MF Petrov! This was a fast paced, delicious, and smutty mafia romance novella that I just ate up in one sitting!

Roman isn't a one woman man and he's definitely not looking for love. But when he sees Nina he knows exactly what he wants, and he doesn't lose.

Nina's kind of going through it between her father dying and her business trying to get off the ground while also being shackled to the added stress of her father's club he left her in her will. In comes Roman with a solution for the both of them!

I do love a forced marriage in the mafia world, this one ticked a lot of boxes for me, and the mouth on that man left me panting more than once while reading. 🥵

I loved this novella - it was the perfect mix of short, super spicy, but with enough plot that I felt like I was reading something much longer (in the best way). I loved how hard Nina and Roman fell for each other and how easily they slipped into their relationship. It was the perfect book to pick up between a longer read! Great read! God, did she make it work! 🔥 It was one of the hottest scenes and did not clash with Roman's possessive nature at all—in fact, it led to the complete opposite. I'm definitely going to be a good girl moving forward and won't question her again. 😇

I devoured this novella within a few hours and couldn't get enough of Roman and Nina. 🤍 If there's anything to "complain" about, it's how I wish it was longer. But that's just how it is with novellas, also I say the same after finishing any of Luna's books—no matter the size. 🤭

This was a Novella part of a multi author series. As it was short things escalated quite quickly.
Roman is one of the brothers and he has his own s3x clubs. He wants to expand and buy out another mafia families club. Now the man is owner is dead he needs to approach the daughter. Nina despised everything her father did and his club. Now she is stuck with it and can't sell it.
She is straight laced and wants to live a simple life. But deep down she has hidden desires that she never knew she had.
When Roman approaches her with a solution, she takes it. Fake marriage so he can take over the business and then divorce.
What he wasn't planning on was falling for her that hard and quickly. He was very possessive with the 'my wife' line. I loved his dominance and the way Nina fought him with sass.
When she tries to get back at him and goes to his club things really heat up!!! This was probably one of the hottest MMF scene I've read. Wow Luna you smashed it. Although I am not a fan of MM scenes this was amazing. I loved what he did at the end of that session lol 😂. It's gruesome as no one touches his wife!!
He was filthy, kinky, dominate and possessive. There was a little drama that solidified their relationship. Although it was Mafia there wasn't much mafia drama in this.
But if you want a quick read with a lot of spice then this one is for you (and me 🥵).

This is the first book in The Petrov Family series and the others are written by other writers.
Nadia's father has just passed on and in his will his Empire club is to be handed over to her but she wants nothing to do with it. She is also legally unable to sell it until after 10 years and she's in a financial mess. Until she meets Roman who gives her an offer she can't refuse.
Roman is looking at expanding his club and Empire is just what he needs. He seeks out the owner and launches out a means to get the club at all costs until he gets the most awesome reawakening.

Luna Mason's Roman Petrov is a spicy, dark romance novella that delivers a thrilling ride. If you love the "my wife" and "touch her and die" tropes, you'll be hooked by Roman's possessive, protective nature.

One standout feature is Luna's exploration of the MFM dynamic for the first time. Though it wasn't the main plot, I really loved the scene we got, and I had been hoping for a while that she would write a story with it. Hopefully, in the future, Luna will write a whole MFM book.

The novella's fast pace kept me on edge, but it did sometimes feel like a series of scenes strung together without smooth transitions. While this didn't affect my enjoyment, it did leave me wanting more depth and continuity.

Despite this, the story and characters are compelling, and the romance is fiery. My only wish is that it had been a bit longer. With a bit more length, the plot and relationship could have been developed further. Then again, it is a novella, but it certainly packs a punch within its short format.

Overall, Roman Petrov is a gripping, spicy novella that fans of dark romance will adore. Luna Mason continues to put out masterpieces, making her a must-read author in the genre.

A mafia romance that missed the mark for me.

There is an entire series about The Petrov Family, written by different authors. Each indie author based their novella around a family member, but the vibes of the books are the same - dark mafia romance.

The first book I read in this series was Nikolai Petrov. He's the patriarch of the family, and he's a bad, bad man. This book was firmly in the romance horror realm, with lots of violence, gore and torture. As well as a forbidden, age-gap love story between Nikolai and his best friend's daughter. That was a 5/5 read for me (check it out).

With that expectation set, I was hoping for a darker vibe. This one was more like Nero by S.J Tilley. We just have to believe he's a bad man, or capable of bad things, but rarely do we see it. I didn't feel connected to the characters.

The spicy scenes were great! Spice is tough to write, and especially in a novella it's tough not to make it feel rushed. There's a great threesome scene in here, with a surprise ending I gasped at!

I'll definitely be reading more in The Petrov Family series!

Holy spicy goodness! This spicy novella was a quick read and boy was the spice spicen! 🌶️🌶️. I loved the plot of this story and couldn’t get enough! The only issue was I needed more! Wanting nothing to do with that part of her past - and legally unable to sell the club just yet - Nina rejects Roman's offer.

Sparks fly between them, even as Nina sends Roman on his way. Always one to get what he wants, Roman is about to launch a campaign to get the club, and enjoy some time with this intriguing woman, but Nina surprises him with a plan of her own - marriage.

Nina then gets to experience her MMF fantasy with Roman. Once. It ends shockingly, which leaves her questioning herself and what she really wants in life.

Roman, meanwhile, has an awakening of sorts, as he realises Nina is 'the one', and he'll now do anything to make her happy while keeping his wife safe.
