I could see that he tightened his fists. What was wrong with him?
"I-Is it because of Julie?" I asked with a bit of hope that he would tell me that he was just kidding.
This time he turned to me and looked into my eyes directly.
"Not because of her. It's just that I can't be with an Omega."

Allison fell in love with Ethan Iversen, the soon-to-be Alpha of the Moonlight Crown pack. She always wanted him to notice her. Meanwhile, Ethan was an arrogant Alpha who thought a weak Omega could not be his companion. Ethan's cousin, Ryan Iversen, who came back from abroad and was the actual heir of the pack, never tried to get the position nor did he show any interest in it. He was a popular playboy Alpha but when he came back to the pack, one thing captured his eyes and that was Allison.
I always end up getting random ebook ads. The books are always these books that aren't necessarily well written or anything and yet I can't resist the urge to read them and then once I start I can't stop reading them. I guess they're just easy, quick reads. This was one of those. They're almost always werewolf books btw and I guess I need my constant werewolf romance fix 😂😂😂
Amazing book to read, Allison loves Ethan Iversen so much that she wants to see him all the time but too bad Ethan and Julie are back together and Julie can't let go of Alpha Ethan. Wao I love playboy Ryan Iversen he's cute but he's character is bad hope Ethan will realise how Allison loves him as I continue reading the book.
I had high hopes based on the random social media blurb that sucked me in, but that's about all that was good. It was painful to read; I can get past obvious poor translations that some of these types of books have, but this was to a whole new level. I stopped reading it entirely.
Will definitely read more, but it has its cons. The English isn’t quite correct, and there are some grammatical errors. Like the plot and idea of the book, but it really wasn’t anything like the summary
Really painful to follow. Characters were written in a way that made them / their personalities feel stiff. Nothing was consistent. Definitely could not finish this.
Honestly, the book had a few issues, but I still couldn’t put it down. Allison has had a crush on Ethan, the alpha heir, for as long as she can remember. Her father is the pack beta, and the alpha couple really like her, so she has a lot of opportunity to see Ethan. The problem is that he doesn’t really know she’s alive. While the daughter of a beta, she turned out to be an omega. This is a huge problem for Ethan when it turns out they are fated mates, so he rejects her. He wants a stronger wolf as his luna. The kicker here is that he takes her into the woods to reject her - he doesn’t really want anyone to know that they were fated, and he rejected her. So he leaves her in the woods where she would have died if it hadn’t been for our resident bad boy, Ryan, who finds her and carries her home.
The storyline was interesting - even when I was getting frustrated with our heroine. I did cut her some slack, I mean being rejected and all. I admit that I could really get into Allison’s (and Ryan’s too) head and felt her pain - and I love a book where I’m actually feeling the emotions of the characters. There are some plot twists that I truly did not see coming, and that’s unusual when one has read a ton of these paranormal romance books.
I have actually read all 4 installments of the story and don’t know why it was broken up the way it was. It really could have been condensed into 1, maybe 2, books. It was an enjoyable read and I do recommend it for those that are fans of the rejected mates trope.
I tend to read random stories that pop up in advertisements that are werewolf related because I need my fix of that genre every so often, but this one was a HARD read.
The writing was just bad. It was written in such a matter of fact way. ‘This and then that’ and had so many writing issues. I even think that at one point the written accidentally called Allison ‘Jennifer’.
Apart from that, the story is going nowhere. I’m in chapter 116 and it’s just went back to zero. The development is so slow. Nothing really has come to light and it’s just getting boring.
And the characters are just…somewhat annoying. Particularly, Allison, her parents, and Ethan’s parents. Both parents are just so overbearing and saying how ‘Ethan is a good boy’, ‘Ryan is not a good boy’, and ‘You are a good girl, Allison’…like?
And Allison actions toward her parents? She just has to do everything her parents say while they are essentially keeping her trap. Like grow up, you are 18.
The plot seems decent so far, it's an intriguing read. It's a cute little indie-author type book that I originally found on novellair, so I'm pretty sure it's a self-pulbished thing. I also get the vibe that the author is a non-native English speaker, which is fine, they're doing well for it not being their first language. But I won't say it doesn't hurt the flow a little just because a lot of the dialogue and explainations feel too formal and robotic, but I'll give credit where credit is due, I couldn't do this well in another language. Overall, an interesting read so far if you're willing to overlook the use of different language than we usually would for certain things. The plot itself is a choosing between two brothers situation, and like most shifter books where the FMC is a lower ranking wolf, I get the feeling there's more to her than even she knows, so I'm excited for the plot twists and to see where this goes.
I think the storyline has a lot of potential - the grammar is terrible, but the story is intriguing enough you will find yourself wanting to read each word to know what will happen - as for my thoughts on the characters Allison is so innocent she really cant see whats right in front of her, Ethan doeant deserve Allison and the way everyone looks at him since he is the future Alpha and I havent quite figured out why he is the future Alpha when it should be the true son of the Alpha and Luna Ryan. We dont get to know much about Ryan in this book but its enough that you will buy the next book juat to figure it out
I know I shouldn't be reading this kind of book, but it's my guilty pleasure. At first, it appeared as an advertisement on a social media platform, and then I was hooked on the story, despite its terrible grammar that confused me at times. I think it does its job of entertaining and engaging the reader, as it even has interesting twists, but the story is weak, and I don't see the need to divide it into so many books; at most, it could have been two.
You can tell that this book was written by someone who has no idea how to proofread or to categorize their thoughts into the written word. There are so many errors, so many nonsense phrases. I have wasted my money on this book. DO NOT PURCHASE THIS BOOK. IT IS A WASTE OF TIME.
Enjoying the book then it seemed it end right in the middle of the story not even a cliffhanger ending just in the middle of the storyline hopefully they do a second book but personally think it should of ended a lot later down the line
The story doesn't really go anywhere, barely anything happens and ends on a cliffhanger. Plus the writing is trash with tons of mistakes. Almost as if someone wrote this by using a voice recording then submitted it without any editing. Don't waste your money.
Intriguing start to a book. It kept me interested and love characters. Definitely will get book 2. I recommend the book but keep a look out on the grammar is off and needs to be checked but other than that you should able to understand it.
I enjoyed this book. Good storyline. It kept me wanting more. There were some errors, but it didn't take away from me enjoying the story. Ready for book 2!
I absolutely love this series and I very much wish it was available in paperback or hard cover NOT JUST an EReader. I would purchase all of them. The Iverson brothers and Allison are amazing
This was pretty bad. The plot was ok, but it was obviously very badly translated into English. The 2 of the character names were random changed. It also ends at a pretty random spot.
