Can a Ranger with a big personality and even bigger heart convince the woman of his dreams that he's worth letting her guard down for?
Once my faulty parachute landed me in a dangerous situation on my last mission, I officially became retired Army Ranger Damon Ryder. I don't think I'll ever get the chance to settle down and build the family I want. But I'm given a second chance at life, and all I want now is to find the woman I want to spend it with. Sabrina makes me feel like myself again and I can't seem to get her out of my mind. She's beautiful, smart and funny. If only she'd let her guard down long enough to let me in. But there's something from her past she won't tell me about and it's stopping her from fully trusting. I'm not giving up on her, though, I'm going to get her to let me in and show her that I'm worthy of her love. I will act as her shield and protect her from the storms ahead. I will be her everything if she'll let me.

I was given the chance to read an ARC of this one and I LOVED EVERY MINUTE. I haven't read Protector YET but am planning to ASAP. I can't wait to see what happens with Deacon either!! Sabrina and Damon totally deserve their HEA and I was constantly enamoured by their romance. I love a good love-at-first-sight trope. 🥹
On. The. Edge. Of. My. Seat. Just when I think Dani Ryan can’t throw me for anymore loops she goes and does something else that has me freaking out. The chemistry Damon and Sabrina had was off the charts. It was so hot at points I felt like I needed to turn up the AC, not even exaggerating. They didn’t even need to be touching at all for you to feel the heat. Talk about soulmates. These two were 100% meant for each other. I loved hearing about Damon’s past and how he never told anyone about it before, but wanted to share it Sabrina. *gush* Uhhh then there was Sabrina, who had her own turmoil. Not to give too much away I’m going to leave it at that. But seriously this book does not disappoint. I can only imagine what Dani Ryan has in store for “Forever My Soldier” because I’m already low-key in love with Deacon!!

First time reading one of Dani's books. <3 What a sweet insta-love story.
Damon, a dedicate ranger, gets hurt in action and is forced to an early retirement. He returns home where he's nursed to health by his big family. The love of his family finds him at a gallery opening where he meets Sabrina.
Sabrina is in a sense, his exact opposite. Growing up with just her mum, she ends up losing her only support too and navigates adulthood with the help of her best friend Cami.
When Damon and Sabrina meet, sparks ensue. Will their insta-love be strong enough to prevail over unforeseen family issues, them getting to know each other and navigating the tumultuous passions of a new relationship (coughs - marriage).
Read Forever My Ranger and find out.
Can't wait to see what Deacon and Wyatt are all about.
Ms. Ryan has done it again. I am so excited for her new books. This book was about Colt’s brother Damon and Damon was a lady’s man who wants to find his person more than anybody. He is a little funny, goofy, but hot and comes alive on the pages. I also appreciated the strong woman Ms. Ryan wrote for his woman, Sabrina. She had problems, but together they worked through them and got the HEA they deserved. I really enjoyed this book and would recommend it. Five stars.

I have loved getting to know each of the brothers. Damon was introduced in Forever My Protector as an older brother, supportive and fun-loving. A player who was finally ready to settle down, finally looking for the one. It only took one look from across the room and he was done. They each had a past, but stuck through it until the past became part of their future and I enjoyed every bit of it. Supportive family connection that grabs hold of your heart. Can’t wait to read what happens with Deacon in Forever My Soldier! *Received an ARC in exchange for an honest review.*
I really enjoyed this sweet, insta-love story from Dani Ryan.
Damon Ryder is a former ranger who is forced into an early retirement when an injury takes him out of action.
Sabrina is a strong woman with a bright personality and a complicated fast.
When these two come together at a gallery event, sparks fly, and the story that unfolds is nothing short of dreamy. The author does a phenomenal job in crafting an easily-read story with realistic tension, and Forever My Ranger manages to stay light without getting lost in the conflict. Very enjoyable!
Great growing tension Excellent smooth writing Nice short chapters makes it a page turner Cute and cozy FMC and MMC seemed very emotionally mature Lots of 90s references, love letter to Millennials Psychologically/physically scarred MMC appeals to me Excellent dialog Daddy issues, finding bio dad, which always gets me
Things I didn't enjoy as much In general it's so true to life and accurate that it's lacking in tension and stakes Got together a bit too soon and love declaration occurs quite early
The *Ryder Brothers* series by Dani Ryan offers an engaging mix of romance and drama. Each book centers on a different Ryder brother, who is charming and flawed in his own way. The stories are well-paced, with strong character development and relatable emotions. Ryan's writing is accessible and captivating, making it easy to connect with the characters and their journeys. The series also touches on themes of family, love, and personal growth, making it more than just a typical romance. Overall, it's a delightful and heartfelt series that's perfect for a light, enjoyable read.
Recently I've read some pretty dark and smutty books so this book was such a nice change of pace. It was sweet, insta love, low angst and just an all round easy read. Sometimes you just want the characters you're reading about to not get absolutely destroyed by life you know what I mean? 🤣 so this was a real feel good book for me. I'm looking forward to seeing what happens with the older brothers next 🥰
I love reading about Damon story, learning more about his past in the military, and seeing him go from a play boy to a loving, devoted one-woman man! I just love a man who goes to their knees for one woman.
Sabrina is a fun MFC, who I love seeing facing her past head-on.
If you want a sweet, cozy romance with HEA guaranteed, this one is for you!
I enjoyed reading Damon and Sabrina's story and how their respective stories progressed. It is a military romance (technically post-military) with a bit of the love-at-first-sight trope. I am curious to know more about the other Ryder brothers and their stories.
Thank you Dani Ryan for providing me with an advanced copy of this book.
(I was given the chance to read an ARC) I haven't read Protector yet, and this is the first exposure I have had to Dani Ryan’s work.
I thought it was great! so sweet, with the right amount of sizzle. The love at first sight trope hit just right, and developed the characters well together and as individuals.
I am definitely interested in reading more in the Ryder series
First time reading this author! Very cute insta love story! Sabrina and Damon have secrets and a past but through the book it all comes out testing their relationship. This is fade to black and was quite refreshing and a quick read! Thank you for the ARC!
Sweet and comforting, like watching your favorite movie on a rainy day! Damon and Sabrina were meant to be, I loved their chemistry! The Ryder family was complex but oh so kind, and Sabrina’s own family drama hit home for me.
Insta love the moment thr MMC set his eyes on FMC🥰🥰🥰.. Everything was super sweet and it was literally and I mean literally love at first sight for both of them..sparks flew everywhere for them and causes chaos rippling in the atmosphere😍
This book is so fun! I was laughing out loud at this couple throughout. I could honestly see people that I know in them, which just made me enjoy it even more. On a day when I truly needed a light, fast-paced book, it was a perfect fit! I can’t wait to finish the Ryder Brothers series.
Im not a fan of love at first sight but this was good. The vibe was everything and I loved them together. If you’re looking for a swoony and easy read, this is a book you can definitely pick up. The HEA was deserved! 🩷🩷
This book was so cute! I loved Damon and Sabrina, they were awesome! Damon is a ranger and Sabrina is a content creator, they met at an art gallery. A couple of the tropes: instant-love, and military romance. Both of the MCs have secrets and problems they need to work through. And this book has some drama! Around 75% of the way through I thought it was over, but no! Let the drama commence. This book does have some harsh language. And in my opinion, is more of a “cracked-door romance” than a closed-door romance. Meaning there is more described on the page than just immediately fading to black. Overall I enjoyed this fast-paced read!
All it takes for Damon and Sabrina is one look. One look and they know they are it for each other.
That is not to say their happily ever after is easy. It isn't.
The secrets, and the ghosts of their pasts play a tangible role and put their love to test. But what's sexier than hard work? Than knowing what, or who, you want and consciously putting in the effort and the fight for it?
If you're looking for a quick read, Dani Ryan's insta-love, fade to black military Forever My Ranger might just be right for you.
