Fighting For Us : Friends To Lovers Romance

Tia
I’ve been running to escape my past, the scars my father caused, and my mistakes for years. After my daughter’s biological father died, I took her and ran, leaving the only person who cared for me my best friend, Rocko.
Before I left, he confessed his love for me and wanted to help raise my baby girl. He was an amazing football player and had a shot at going pro. I couldn’t ask him to give up those dreams for a child who wasn't his.
I ran and didn’t look back.
Years later, when I get a call that my mother is sick, I’m forced to go back and face my past. That’s where I see him.
Everywhere.
And this time, I’m not running.
Rocko
I live a simple life. I own a popular auto body shop in my small town that my brother Tommy and I inherited from our Pops. My future was all mapped out for me. The dream was to play pro football. Only it wasn’t my dream. My dream ran off when I was seventeen and took my heart with her. Since then, I could never settle down. I’m envious of my brother. He has a family. Wife and kids. Something I had only ever wanted with one woman. Now she’s back, and there’s no escaping her. I'm not letting her walk away this time. I am taking what has always been mine.
Tia Kane.

Twist of emotions for the two main character. She didn’t think she deserved to be happy and he had always loved her.

This book definitely kept me on the edge of my seat! It was completely different from what I was expecting!

This is a 2nd chance romance that faced a lot of trials. Some parts had me tearing up too!

Definitely worth it!
