THAT SUITS HARRY JUST FINE...A ROGUE KILLER IS EXACTLY WHAT HE IS...
USA TODAY & Amazon 2-million copy bestselling author BLAKE BANNER is back with a brand new gripping thriller series!Harry Bauer was a professional killer. After eight years in the SAS he was the best in the business. That business was Cobra, a shadow agency that took out the trash that was beyond the reach of the law, those guilty of crimes against humanity. Now Harry has resigned. He purpose is to find peace.
But when his former head of operation, Colonel Jane Harris, is gunned down and left fighting for her life under heavy guard at the hospital, Harry know he has one more shipment on trash to take out. His former boss, Brigadier ‘Buddy’ Byrd tells him to stay out of it – he also tells him their mark had been Russian Mafia selling next generation chemical weapons through Russian contacts at the United Nations.
The Brigadier can’t protect him, Cobra cannot protect him. If Harry goes after them he will do so as a rogue killer.
That suits Harry just fine. A rogue killer is exactly what he is.

Harry Bauer has quit the secret agency. But when Colonel Jane calls him desperately one night, he doesn't hesitate to rush to her rescue. Which he accomplishes, but she's gravely wounded in the process. The Brigadier and Harry agree he needs to take out one more batch of trash.
The trash in question is a shadowy global shipping business, which uses legal loopholes and, of course, lots of shell companies, to move illegal cargoes, ranging from sanctioned oil to weapons to drugs. Colonel Jane was on to them.
Harry tracks the head guy and his deputy to Singapore. Just what is the deputy's role? The Brigadier puts him in touch with an American ex-pat who's helped out on jobs before. Can Harry trust him?
Harry, as usual, must go up against ten to one odds armed with just his Sig, his Fairbairn and Sykes fighting knife and, most importantly, his formidable smarts.
More bold brutality by and toward Bauer; all about mission
Two gets you hundred or maybe ten, but Bauer embraces the chaos and complexity of a global, criminal enterprise. Story includes commentary on current events in Israel and Ukraine. A wicked female and a mercenary complicate Bauer's chances for personal survival. No doubt bad guys continue to invent trouble because another episode follows; preorder now.
One might expect that the 19th in any thriller series would have stretched the creativity of the author, plot lines, and characterization. But Banner is simply the best prolific author of the genre. This story and it’s telling is truly a page turner and grabbed my usual objective consciousness to be a wide eyed witness to the drama unfolding. Impressive and sleep defying. Obviously recommended!!!!
No matter how many times Harry was a goner, with no way out, he managed to bluff, shoot, drive madly away from (or toward) danger, flirt, blow something up, change allegiances, knife someone, or fly away in a handy airplane. I may have missed a few ways he cheated death, but he's no doubt a surviver and worried the whole time about Jane as she is barely surviving her injuries from her last mission.
I have read all of the Harry Bauer books in order and I have never been disappointed. This book was no exception. As usual, lots of action, accompanied by quite a few twists and turns. A great read and I look forward to the next book which is due to be published in November 2024 ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️
OMG…is it the end of the world, or is Harry gonna make things right?
Loved this book! It was exciting, with continuing unexpected action. Characters were great, as always…and Harry Bauer figures out how to stop the bad guys from starting the next World War. I couldn’t stop reading this one…until the end.
Fast moving thriller that has Harry coming to the rescue of the second in command of Cobra which while successful results in her being seriously wounded and left fighting for her life. Follow up activity has Harry taking out criminals and corrupt politicians at times with his life hanging on a hairline.
Love this book #19. Couldn't put it down. I won't give anything away bit wow really exciting. I trad until 1:25am. looking forward to book 20 in November. It was fast paced and never a dull moment. Everyone should read the Harry Bauer books.
I know it is fiction, and suposed to be outrageous. But---there is no way that old Harry could escape all those situations. I am sorry but I probably won't be reading any more of your novels as I need more substance for my reading enjoyment.
Definitely one of the better chapters in Nauer series .To ger revenge for what happen to the Colonel. Anitten was Definitely a psycho. But Harry got last laugh 10 stars plus!!!! Thanks Carl Clause
This was another great Harry Bauer book, possibly the best so far. My only complaint was that this book, unlike the previous books, had an astounding number of typos in it.
Wow. That was great. Harry Bauer is back in amazing form. This series of books have just got better and better. That's 19 and looking forward to 20 in November, already preordered.
Favorite series! Harry Bauer is one tough dude. Thrilling and exciting from beginning to end! Looking forward to more from this series, especially with colonel Jane!!
Disappointing. A big complex buildup to what becomes a killing spree to stop a weapons delivery. Harry’s dialogue was juvenile and obnoxious. Seems like it was written quickly to make a deadline.
